Abstract

Posting online reviews has become one of the most popular ways to express opinions and sentiments towards service applications. The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) Info application is an Android and iOS-based mobile application that provides information on weather, climate, air quality, and earthquakes that occur in various regions in Indonesia. The information contained in this application is very important but has a worse value than other forecasting applications. Sentiment analysis is the process of classifying text into several classes such as positive sentiment, negative or not containing both. This research aims to analyze user reviews on the BMKG Info application from the Google Play website. The benefits obtained are as consideration for developers to improve the shortcomings of the application. The classification process uses Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) and the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm. This research successfully collected 2500 reviews from users of the BMKG Info application on the Google PlayStore website using the web scraping method. Text preprocessing of the reviews used case folding, symbolic and stopword removal, tokenization, normalization, and stemming. User ratings help in identifying the sentiment label of a review, 66% of reviews are positive while the rest are negative. The most frequently reviewed topics with sentiment value are "application", "information", "update". This research conducted three experimental scenarios based on the composition of training data and test data. Based on the prediction model, the scenario with 75%:25% split data has the highest accuracy rate of 79%.

Abstract

Visually impaired is a term for someone who has lost or reduced the function of vision. People with visual disabilities often experience difficulties in daily activities, for example when walking or navigating. They need the help of others to help them go to a room or move from one place to another. Currently, existing navigation aids do not fully meet the needs of the blind. They still need the help of others to get detailed information about visual objects such as the layout of rooms in buildings, traffic signs, and vehicles. Based on these problems, an Android-based navigation application needed that utilizes Text-to-Speech (TTS) technology to help blind people navigate independently by utilizing navigation information provided by voice. In order to help the development process, applications are developed by adopting Agile Software Development principles using the Test Driven Development (TDD) method. The features developed begin with a test fail phase where the developer creates unit test code before the production code is implemented, then refactor the code, and tests afterward (test passes). The success status of the features being tested gets success status with a rate of 100% for all features. Then in the TTS test, testing was carried out with 2 TTS engines, namely Google TTS and Samsung TTS, the results showed that the Word Error Rate (WRE) of Google TTS was 2,86, lower than Samsung TTS which got 4,06.

Abstract

The City of Malang is one of the favorite destinations in Indonesia which has uniqueness in culture and diverse tourism. Information about tourism has not been handled properly by the government in Malang City. The various tourist attractions in Malang City are not fully known by the public. Therefore, here the author will design a WEB-based Malang City Tourism Application. In designing pages on this website, we will use Visual Studio Code (VS Code) Programming assistance. To get a dynamic website design the author uses PHP and CSS in its creation. In managing all existing databases the author uses the MySQL Database. The results of this research study can provide results in which there is complete information about tourist attractions and accommodations in tourism in Malang City. With the User Centered Design (UCD) method, the interface on the website will be focused on user needs. Furthermore, the result of this design is the creation of an interface that contains various menus, including the login menu, main page menu, package menu, hotel menu, and contact menu. The results of the analysis will involve a sample of 100 respondents.

Abstract

Providing an assessment of employee work performance is a method for evaluating their competence with the aim of development to produce competitive employees. A Civil Servant (PNS) who achieves good (high) work performance should get a reward (compensation) that is comparable. It aims to motivate and reward civil servants for improving performance. However, some opportunities can turn into threats if they are not anticipated, such as negative responses from the public if the government is unable to improve the quality of its employees' performance. Inaccurate and ineffective assessments can cause the process of assessing the performance and quality of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) to be inaccurate and inappropriate. Therefore, an assessment system is needed that is relevant, practical, reliable and acceptable so that the assessment results are more accurate good and useful for employees and personnel administration at the Pontianak Fisheries Training and Extension Center (BP3). This system refers to the Waterfall model, where the progress of a process is considered to flow continuously like a waterfall. In the waterfall model, each step must be sequential and you cannot proceed to the next step but must complete the first step then proceed to the second step, and so on. With the system that has been built, the employee performance appraisal process can be well-documented and more transparent. The results of testing using the black box testing method showed that the system functionality could meet all the expected requirement specifications.

Abstract

One of the challenges in decision-making for determining the direction of mangrove ecotourism development policies and programs on Tagalaya Island is the availability of mangrove databases at each observation station and remote sensing models used to identify mangrove forest density. This research offers the idea of combining the hyperspectral method of remote sensing with the information system design method design thinking framework. Meanwhile, the location of this research is the mangrove ecotourism area of Tagalaya Island, North Halmahera Regency, North Maluku Province, Indonesia. The findings of this study demonstrate the need to use remote sensing to locate and evaluate spatial data, particularly index values based on NDVI models for each Tagalaya Island observation station. The first and second observation stations are shown to be included in the unusual group by the computation results of the 2023 raster data in the mangrove area of Tagalaya Island. The third observation station is also included in the medium category. The monitoring information system for the Tagalaya mangrove ecotourism region is also a solution to the mangrove database challenge in deciding the direction of Tagalaya mangrove ecotourism policies and activities (SIMOKE Tagalaya). Thus, the problems and solutions encountered in enhancing the monitoring program of mangrove ecotourism areas on Tagalaya Island become relevant and contextual when applying the hyperspectral method of remote sensing and information system design using a design thinking framework.

Abstract

The author examines the Smart Pure Vocational School, because the school has problems in assessing the performance of the best honorary teachers. Where the presence of a large number of teachers, of course, affects the speed of the assessment process and the accuracy in assessing the performance of the best honorary teachers. So the researchers created a decision support system that could assist the school in the process of evaluating honorary teacher performance. In a decision support system that is carried out using the MAUT method with Entropy weighting, where Entopy weighting is used to determine the criterion weight value of each predetermined criterion while the MAUT method is used to produce ranking results based on the alternatives and criteria that have been determined. So the results obtained from the decision support system that has been built using the MAUT calculation method with Entropy weighting, are very aimed at facilitating the Smart Pure Vocational School in the process of evaluating the performance of the best honorary teachers objectively, quickly and precisely. So as to produce results with a value of 0.9611 from alternative A12 on behalf of Siti Maimunah.

Abstract

As a national reference center for nuclear medicine services, the general hospital in the Bandung area is required to consistently enhance the quality of its services, including improving patient care and reducing errors that occur during the patient examination process. Currently, the nuclear medicine installation department offers 45 types of examination services, resulting in a high volume of daily patient examinations. This situation presents a distinct challenge for the nuclear medicine installation department as it lacks a system for monitoring patient examinations. The issue of data and information integration becomes crucial in patient examination activities, particularly because a lack of integration can lead to suboptimal examination reporting processes. This research aims to develop an monitoring system for patient examination activities using the Odoo application, employing the Quickstart development method. The primary focus of this study is on the integration of data and information in monitoring patient examinations. Each patient examination data can be input into the Odoo application, centralizing the storage of data and information. This research aims to offer a solution to the challenges faced by integrating business processes with patient examination monitoring systems. It also proposes data and information integration within patient examination activities and other departments within the nuclear medicine installation. This integration will result in a well-structured reporting system that is easy to generate, providing various forms of patient examination reports as an outcome.

Abstract

PT. Gruti Lestari Pratama Mandailing Natal is part of the Mujur Group which was founded on May 1, 1996 with a head office in Medan and oil palm plantations and a palm oil mill located in Mandailing Natal, North Sumatra. In an effort to improve the performance of the employees, PT. Gruti Lestari Pratama Mandailing Natal determines the outstanding employees every year. The purpose of determining outstanding employees is to improve the performance of each employee which can support the progress of the company. In determining outstanding employees, PT. Gruti Lestari Pratama Mandailing Natal evaluates only one assessment, namely achievement, even though there are several other criteria that can be used as criteria for determining outstanding employees such as discipline, responsibility, achievement, cooperation, attendance and letters of reprimand. Some of these criteria will be a more effective assessment of the previous assessment of the determination of outstanding employees at PT. Gruti Lestari Pratama Mandailing Natal. In determining outstanding employees, a decision support system (SPK) is needed. SPK in this study uses the MAUT method with ROC weights. The result of the best alternative decision is the A9 alternative on behalf of "Riswandi" with a value of U_i = 0.785 which was selected as an outstanding employee at PT. Gruti Lestari Pratama Mandailing Christmas.

Abstract

The challenge in destination branding is the support of all stakeholders in the tourism sector through collaboration and synergy in tourism potential management. To improve the positive image of the destination, digital campaigns are one of the practical approaches to attract tourist visits. Meanwhile, the Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) is a driving force that triggers local communities' participation and encourages tourism development in each region. However, there are challenges in realizing the synergy of stakeholders' interests to improve the positive image of tourism villages. This research aims to design a tourism village information system that encourages the performance of Pokdarwis while destination branding. In addition, the framework used in system design is design thinking based on the 9P marketing mix (Product, Price, Promotion, Place, People, Physical Evidence, Process, Performance, and Partnership). The results of the system design show that Pokdarwis is essential as an actor who has access to data and information management and system operations integrated with the 9Ps with the following description: product is a series of activities or services in a tourist village that tourists can purchase; price, is the value of the service package that can be accessed by tourists based on the latest price; promotions, are added value and special prices offered based on time frames; place, is the location of activities offered by the theme of the activity; people, emphasizing the party in charge involved in each activity; physical evidence emphasizes the facilities available to support activities; process, is the flow of ordering and using the services offered; performance, emphasizing the history of previous service delivery; Partnership, is a partner involved directly or indirectly as a supporter of tourism services. This shows that the tourism village information system based on the 9P marketing mix can optimize the performance of Pokdarwis while forming destination branding.

Abstract

Performance appraisal and appointment of managerial positions are crucial aspects of modern organizational management. In dealing with the complexity of the factors that influence this decision, a decision support system (DSS) is an important tool to help make the right decision. In this study, the authors made a comparison between two popular methods in SPK, namely the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) and Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS), to support the process of appointing a manager's position. The TOPSIS method relies on the concept of geometric distances to rank alternatives based on proximity to positive and negative ideal solutions. On the other hand, the WASPAS method assigns weight to each criterion and calculates the aggregate results for each alternative, resulting in a ranking based on the highest score. This study involved a dataset containing diverse and complex performance evaluation criteria for prospective managers. The experimental results show that both methods have their own strengths and weaknesses in generating alternative rankings. The TOPSIS method provides a more stable and consistent solution in dealing with variations in sensitivity to changes in criteria weights, while the WASPAS method tends to be more adaptive to scenarios where the relative preferences between criteria differ. In the context of appointing a manager, choosing the DSS method that is appropriate to the characteristics of the organization and the preferences of decision makers is a determining factor. Both of these methods can provide valuable guidance to decision makers in selecting the most suitable candidates for managerial positions. Therefore, an in-depth understanding of the differences and practical implications of the TOPSIS and WASPAS methods is essential in the context of intelligent and efficient decision making. The results of the comparison between the TOPSIS and WASPAS methods show that the results of both have the same highest rank, namely in alternative 9 in the name of Muhammad Faisal.
