Abstract

Smart Home or smart home is a system built with the help of a computer to integrate and control home devices automatically and efficiently. The development of "Smart Home" technology is the impact of the development of technological advances that aim to help people manage their daily activities in controlling electronic equipment and monitoring the condition of the house. This home automation system was developed with the aim of supporting electricity and water saving programs. Smart home technology developed, both in home automation systems and security will be controlled centrally by the microcontroller. This study aims to build an electronic device control system at several location points automatically by sending SMS from the cellphone to the control module. This device system will also connect the control module via the internet network so that the Internet of Things (IOT) function is built. Arduino-based Smart Home facilitates home security systems by installing Infrared sensors to detect moving objects, MQ-2 Sensors to detect gas leaks, DHT11 Sensors to detect temperature and humidity, Ultrasonic Sensors to measure the water level in water reservoirs.

Abstract

Inactive lifestyles and unhealthy diets are often the result of people's busy lives. because of these bad habits, many people are underweight. diet and lack of physical activity are factors that cause underweight. Due to lack of information, people prefer to live lazily and not exercise. To solve this problem, we propose a physical exercise recommendation system that is explicitly designed for Indonesian people who are struggling with underweight. Despite the existence of various research studies advocating for physical activities tailored to individual preferences, there is currently no recommendation system available within a chatbot framework that includes a comprehensive session to be completed, along with specific sets and repetitions for each activity. This research proposes the utilization of ontology and Semantic Rule Web Language (SWRL) to represent and process the knowledge presented, enabling the development of rules for generating physical activity recommendations based on user preferences. By integrating the user profile, ontology, and the rules created, our system recommends physical exercise based on gender, weight, height, activity level, difficulty of movements, and the type of muscle to be trained. From the sample user data obtained, 408 physical exercises menu are recommended. The performance of the system is quite good, together with the validation results from personal trainers, obtained a precision value of 0.8, recall of 1, and f-score of 0.888. Concluding that the system we designed can provide physical activity recommendations in accordance with user preferences.

Abstract

This study aims to carry out a comparative analysis process between the MAUT method and the TOPSIS method using ROC weighting. The MAUT method functions to deal with problems in decision making that link several interrelated attributes, in which the method combines the decision maker's preferences for the relevant attributes by giving a weight value to each attribute. Meanwhile, the TOPSIS method is used to select the best alternative from the many choices based on their relative distances from the ideal solution. In this study, weighting using the ROC method is used to objectively determine attribute weight values. The results of the research conducted show that the MAUT Method and the TOPSIS Method with ROC weighting can give good results in determining village heads. The results of the ranking using the MAUT method are A4 with a value of 0.950. while the ranking results using the TOPSIS method are A4 with a value of 0.917.

Abstract

Pregnant women need special attention to maintain their health and that of the fetus they are carrying. To support this process, an expert system has been developed that is capable of diagnosing diseases in pregnant women. The Naïve Bayes method is one of the approaches used in this expert system to classify diseases based on the symptoms experienced by pregnant women. The purpose of this research is to implement an expert system based on the Naïve Bayes method to support the diagnosis of diseases in pregnant women. The Naïve Bayes method was chosen because of its ability to deal with classification problems with incomplete or unbalanced data. After the Naïve Bayes model is a solution, testing and evaluation is carried out using test data. The accuracy of the expert system is measured by comparing the diagnosis given by the system with the actual diagnosis. The results showed that the expert system with the Naïve Bayes method was able to provide an accurate diagnosis for pregnant women. This proves the effectiveness of the Naïve Bayes method in supporting the diagnosis process in pregnant women.

Abstract

Currently, e-commerce has become a crucial necessity for society as it provides convenience and comfort in shopping. MizanStore, as an e-commerce platform, enables people to search for and purchase various products they need without leaving their homes. In this ever-evolving era, the use of mobile platforms is preferred over websites due to advantages such as easy accessibility and better user experience. Hence, a research study was conducted to design optimal user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) through the development of the MizanStore mobile application. The User Centered Design (UCD) methodology was implemented in this research, involving four main stages. These stages encompassed understanding the application's usability, conducting in-depth analysis of user needs, developing responsive design solutions, and evaluating through continuous testing. By employing this approach, existing issues were identified and addressed, resulting in a prototype design model that aligns with user expectations and desires. Testing was conducted with the participation of 10 users, utilizing the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire. The results indicated that MizanStore obtained an average SUS score of 90, demonstrating high user satisfaction and alignment between the application and their needs. These findings provide a solid foundation for further improvement and development of MizanStore. Consequently, MizanStore can continue to deliver an optimal shopping experience and better meet user needs.

Abstract

There have been many cases of work accidents caused by not complying with safety standards at work, especially in the use of safety helmets. This study is able to make regular observations in identifying project personnel using safety helmets at work, this aims to reduce the risk of accidents at work, namely in the use of helmet attributes at work. Some previous studies, have proposed the use of image detection-based models using the Detection Transformer (DeTr) method for obtaining object detection, group prediction, and combining methods, using the Intersection over Union (IoU) method for obtaining object detection results, to achieve the best performance, namely to get convergence results. Based on the combination of these two methods, the results value of average IoU is 0.50 from 500 identified project personnel data were obtained.

Abstract

Audit is an independent and standardized systematic process that completes evidence and compares it objectively to determine the extent to which audit interpretations have been complied with. One of the standards used in the implementation of the information systems audit process is COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology). Online PNBP still has identified problems, including that the Online PNBP application does not accommodate all Types and Tariffs for PNBP types. This study aims to conduct an online PNBP information system audit at LPP RRI Gorontalo. This study uses the APO04 (Manage Innovation) domain at COBIT 5 with the research stages using Assessment Process Activities. The data used in this study are secondary data and primary data obtained through the observation phase of interviews and questionnaires. Based on the research results, the average value in the APO04 sub-domain in the current condition (As Is) is 0.24 and the expected condition (To Be) is 0.20 or still at level 0. With the largest gap or gap value is in the APO04.02 sub domain, which is 0.54. With these results it is found that LPP RRI Gorontalo has not carried out IT processes that should have existed, or been added and have not succeeded in achieving the objectives of the IT process and have not been optimal in maintaining understanding of the company's environment, so the suggestion that can be given is to maximize understanding of the environment companies so that they can understand the interests of both consumers and companies so that opportunities enabled by new technologies can be identified

Abstract

In selecting the head of the laboratory, someone who has extensive knowledge in the specific field of the laboratory is needed, as well as good management and leadership skills. They may also be involved in developing new methods, selecting equipment, and developing laboratory policies. However, the challenge in the selection process for a new laboratory head is the high number of applicants and a series of selection stages which are time-consuming, including administrative selection, competency evaluation, and interviews. This causes difficulties for schools in making decisions to get candidates for laboratory heads that match their expectations. In solving problems in laboratory selection, the authors make 5 criteria including qualifications, experience, leadership, communication skills, and responsibility. So this research also needs a system that can help to solve existing problems. A system that can help solve problems is a Decision Support System (SPK). In completing this research, the writer has to find the weight value of the criterion data where the writer uses the ROC method to produce the weight value and after that the writer also searches for the ranking value using the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. The produce of ranking values in the TOPSIS method, the author must work according to predetermined steps in order to obtain precise and accurate preference values. The ROC and TOPSIS methods really help the writer in generating values accurately. So from the above calculations using the TOPSIS method the chosen head of the laboratory is Zakiyah Alifah with a total value of 1.

Abstract

In this study the object studied was rainfed agricultural land, this type of agriculture depends on rainwater so good management is needed in managing the cropping system to produce optimal results. The drip irrigation system can be used when the dry season arrives to support the quality of moisture in the soil and soil quality monitoring is carried out to determine the planting of corn plant seeds. The prototype method is used in designing drip irrigation systems and monitoring the quality of agricultural land. System design using the prototype method is one of the software design techniques used in designing web applications. The application is designed using the PHP programming language and the framework used is CodeIgniter (CI), so the Unified Modeling Language (UML) is designed. Internet of Things uses NodeMCU ESP8266 as a microcontroller that will connect to the web. The results of the sensor test for 30 minutes on soil moisture can be maintained at 40-80% humidity when drip irrigation is running. When the water in the tank runs out and drip irrigation is not running, the soil moisture will decrease by 30%, the soil pH value is at a value of 6-7% and the temperature value is at 21-34 degrees Celsius, the soil quality is suitable for planting corn seeds. The drip irrigation system can be used when the dry season arrives to keep the soil moist and this land monitoring is useful for farmers in determining good land conditions for planting corn seeds. The system design can be further developed by adding sensors to the water control in the drip irrigation tube to measure the amount of water used.

Abstract

Research combining sentiment analysis approaches with decision support systems in the hospitality industry is still very limited. This study aims to analyze hotel guest sentiment based on location, cleanliness, service, and value criteria using Cross Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM) to identify five and ten famous words based on sentiment data and the sentiment classification model with the best performance. Furthermore, the results of identifying five and ten famous words based on sentiment data related to location, cleanliness, service, and value ratings were processed using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The results of this study show that the performance of SVM algorithms using SMOTE operators has accuracy values (99.74%), precision values (100%), recall values (99.48%), f-measure values (99.74%), and AUC (100%). This shows that sentiment classification results using the SVM algorithm with SMOTE operators can be used as a sentiment data classification model with 30% training and 70% test data. This model is relevant to be used as a model for the classification process of 1680 review data obtained from the Tripadvisor website at Grand Zuri Malioboro Hotel Yogyakarta, Tentrem Hotel Yogyakarta, Grand Ambarukmo Hotel, El Royale Yogyakarta Malioboro, and Ceria Hotel @alun alun Yogyakarta. Specifically, aspects that concern guests relate to staff, breakfast, room, and service. In addition, the results of the implementation of the SAW method show that Grand Zuri Malioboro Hotel Yogyakarta ranks first with a total value of 0.907663917. Otherwise, Ceria Hotel @alun Yogyakarta Square ranks second with a total value of 0.897193878. Meanwhile, Hotel Tentrem Yogyakarta ranks third with a total value of 0.861265289. This shows that hotel guests who assess the criteria of location, cleanliness, service, and value by giving value weights as rated on the Tripadvisor website and provide importance weights with similar values, where location (0.20), cleanliness (0.25), service (0.30), value (0.25) then the alternative with the highest weight is Hotel Grand Zuri Malioboro Yogyakarta.
