Abstract

Confidentiality and security of information on globalization is increasingly becoming a vital needs in various aspects of life. Any information would have a higher value if the concerning aspects of business decisions, security, or public interest. Where information-such information surely will be much sought after by various parties also have an interest in it. How to implement a data security system so that the data can be hidden in addition, can also be maintained in strict confidence from unauthorized parties. Designing applications Android-based steganography to hide documents by using the method of Least Significant Bit (LSB). This application can be expected to add to the knowledge of how to insert the document doc, xls, ppt, pdf and how to create application programs that can hide the document in the image, as well as developing the ability of the author to design the program mobile applications. The process of document confidentiality can be maintained this is due to the existence of the document is stored in a format that is different from the results of the prior encryption or already in the pasted file encryption is still the same.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an early detection system for thyroid disease using the Naive Bayes algorithm. The dataset used is the Thyroid Disease Dataset from the UCI Machine Learning Repository, consisting of thousands of patient records. Prior to model training, the data undergoes preprocessing steps such as handling missing values, numerical normalization, and categorical encoding. The classification process involves calculating the prior probability, likelihood, and posterior probability for each class: normal, hypothyroid, and hyperthyroid. The system also presents the probability percentage for each class as an automated diagnosis result. Model accuracy is evaluated using a Confusion Matrix, achieving an accuracy score of 98.01% on the test data. These results indicate that the proposed approach can effectively and accurately classify thyroid conditions for early diagnosis purposes.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology has driven digital transformation across various sectors, including product marketing. Deputroe Coffee, a local business that sells Gayo coffee beans and ground coffee, still relies on conventional sales methods that limit market reach and distribution efficiency. This research aims to design and develop an Android-based e-commerce application to facilitate the online ordering and selling of coffee products. The system development follows the waterfall model, consisting of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The application features include user registration, product ordering, shopping cart management, and payment confirmation. Testing results indicate that the application functions as expected and is well-received by users. The implementation of this system has proven effective in improving marketing efficiency, expanding customer reach, and supporting the digital transformation of micro-enterprises in the coffee sector. This research is expected to serve as an effective solution to enhance the competitiveness of Deputroe Coffee through the use of information technology.

Abstract

This study aims to design the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) of a management website for a wholesale store UD. Putra Banjar in Jakarta using Figma software and the Design Thinking method. The background of this study is the need for digitalization in stock and transaction management which has so far been done manually and is considered inefficient. This study identified four main problems: the integration of Figma and Design Thinking in the design process, the involvement of owners and customers in development, increasing transaction efficiency through the website, and providing additional features to increase customer trust in the product. The Design Thinking method used includes five stages, namely Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. The initial stage is carried out through interviews with owners and customers to explore needs and problems. The results of the analysis are then formulated into a design solution that is visualized in the form of a prototype using Figma. Trials were carried out by 15 users to obtain feedback to improve the design. The expected results of this study are the creation of an effective, efficient, and responsive website UI/UX design to user needs. In addition, the product review feature is expected to help customers in decision making. This research is expected to contribute to the operational efficiency of UD. Putra Banjar and become a reference in the digitalization of similar MSMEs in Indonesia.

Abstract

Sentiment analysis has become an important method for understanding public opinion on social and religious issues. This study aims to analyze user sentiment regarding the issue of the adzan presented in a running text format using the K-Nearest Neighbors (K-NN) algorithm. The adzan as running text on national television occurred during Pope Francis's mass at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (GBK) on September 5, 2024. The Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) advised that the Maghrib adzan, usually broadcast on national television, be replaced with running text. This recommendation was made to facilitate the live broadcast of the mass attended by Christian congregants and to honor the worship without disruption. Some parties, such as the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) and the General Chairman of PP Persis, stated that replacing the adzan with running text does not violate Islamic law, while Minister of Communication and Information Budi Arie Setiadi mentioned that the change is merely a suggestion. The research findings indicate that the K-NN algorithm involves several stages, including data collection and labeling, text processing, feature extraction using TF-IDF, and splitting the data into 80% for Training and 20% for Testing. Based on the test results, the K-NN model detected 10 positive sentiments and 168 negative sentiments, indicating a tendency for Twitter users to express more negative sentiments. Analysis using a Confusion matrix shows that this model achieved an accuracy rate of 88%, indicating good performance in sentiment classification.

Abstract

Tourist attractions are anything that draws people's attention to visit a particular destination. Magelang Regency, Central Java, has significant natural tourism potential, especially in mountainous areas like Mount Sumbing, which attracts both domestic and international tourists. However, many tourists face difficulties in choosing a destination that aligns with their preferences. This research aims to develop and implement the TOPSIS method to assist tourists in selecting the best attractions in the Mount Sumbing area based on various criteria such as distance, facilities, cost, comfort, and scenery. The TOPSIS method (Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) was chosen for its ability to evaluate alternatives by comparing positive and negative ideal solutions, providing objective and accurate ranking results. By applying the TOPSIS method to the evaluation of tourism alternatives, preference values are calculated to determine the best option. The results show that alternative 3 Nepal Van Java has the highest preference value, which is 0.7920. The findings provide relevant rankings of tourist attractions, offering valuable guidance for tourists and tourism managers in optimizing the tourism experience in the area.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the quality of the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of the BCA Mobile application using the Heuristic Evaluation method. The primary objective is to develop a design solution that is more effective, intuitive, and aligned with users’ needs in conducting digital banking activities. The evaluation focuses on key features such as fund transfers, balance information, transaction history, and transaction notifications. The results reveal several issues related to readability, navigation efficiency, and visual data security. By applying a heuristic-based approach, the study proposes improvements including the addition of Face ID for access code authentication, enhanced text contrast, and the replacement of the virtual account feature. The proposed UI/UX redesign aims to improve user comfort, efficiency, and security in accessing BCA Mobile's digital banking services.

Abstract

Livestock health, particularly of cattle, is a crucial factor in the livestock industry as it directly affects productivity and animal welfare. However, health monitoring in the field is still largely conducted manually, leading to delays in early disease detection and increasing the risk of economic loss for farmers. This study aims to develop and evaluate a cattle health prediction model using a Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) approach based on physiological sensor data such as body temperature, heart rate, and physical activity. The data were collected in real time using Internet of Things (IoT) technology at a farm located in Tanah Periuk Village, Musi Rawas Regency. The results show that the developed RNN model achieved an accuracy of 98.88%, precision of 0.99, and recall of 0.99, indicating high performance in detecting potential cattle health issues. These findings are expected to provide a practical solution for farmers to support timely and accurate decision-making and improve overall livestock welfare.

Abstract

A security system is a crucial component in creating a safe and conducive school environment. This research aims to design and build a prototype of an automatic door security system at SMPN 1 Warungkiara. The system integrates a reed switch sensor to detect the door's status, along with RFID and fingerprint technology as access authentication media. Security notifications are sent in real-time via the Discord platform using a NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller connected to a Wi-Fi network, especially for suspicious activities outside operational hours. The research method employed is qualitative with a case study approach, while the system development applies the prototyping model. The development stages include requirements communication, quick design, prototype construction, and user evaluation. The test results indicate that the system prototype functions well and effectively. The sensor accurately detects the door's status, the authentication process using RFID and fingerprint operates as designed, and notifications to Discord are sent instantly. The implementation of this system is expected to enhance digital security monitoring, minimize risks, and support the creation of a safer and more comfortable teaching and learning process within the school environment.

Abstract

This mobile application to simplify the process of renting badminton courts at GOR Biru Sport Center Yogyakarta, addressing the inefficiencies of the manual system that had been used until now. Using a Design Thinking approach, we identified user issues through interviews and observations, then designed a Flutter-based prototype featuring key functionalities: real-time court availability updates, integrated digital payments (QRIS and e-wallet), and an admin dashboard for schedule management. Testing results showed significant improvements, evidenced by reduced booking time, 98% accuracy in court availability information, and the elimination of physical queues. The app received a usability score of 4.6/5 from users, proving its effectiveness in enhancing customer experience while improving field management efficiency. This digital solution not only addresses current issues but also opens opportunities for further feature development, such as membership programs and calendar integration. This research serves as tangible evidence of how mobile technology can transform conventional systems in sports facilities.
