Abstract

This article aims to highlight the performance of the Smart Kampung application and website in Ketapang Village, Banyuwangi Regency, as well as to understand the extent to which digital technology can improve the efficiency of public services and empower village communities. This evaluation of the Smart Kampung web application uses a qualitative content analysis approach, which involves collecting and analyzing textual and visual data from the Smart Kampung platform. Data sources include descriptive text, usage guides, user reviews, and visual content such as images and video tutorials. The findings in this article are that the Smart Village program has succeeded in integrating various public services into one digital platform that residents can access easily. This platform facilitates access to population administration, health, and education services and empowers the local economy through online marketing training and developing MSMEs. Analysis of user feedback shows that although the community generally receives the platform well, several areas still require improvement to increase user satisfaction. This article will help explain the use of technology at the village level and practical recommendations for optimizing the previous Smart Village platform. Apart from that, these findings can also guide other villages that want to adopt similar programs so that the benefits of digital technology can be felt more widely throughout rural areas in Indonesia. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the meaning of online media audiences about Instagram. The role of mass media communication technology is developing rapidly and playing an important role for society in everyday life. The internet is very helpful in the field of marketing (online marketers). One form of online promotion that is currently developing is via Instagram, based on the photo sharing append commonly found on smartphones. As a start-up business company, the Instagram application has emerged, because of the internet phenomenon that has emerged recently, many new products have been marketed. For this reason, this paper can define how to share photos based on the Instagram application, especially for people who respond to start-up business promotions

Abstract

White sand beaches offer significant tourism potential, promising economic growth and development opportunities for local communities. This tourism development can improve community welfare through various sectors, such as tourism, hospitality and culinary. However, this large white sand tourism potential has not been utilized optimally due to lack of attention from stakeholders, including the government. The pentahelix model, which involves academics, government, business, community and media, is considered the right solution to optimize this tourism potential. This research aims to analyze the tourism potential of white sands and examine the role of the pentahelix model in its development. The research method used is literature study and direct field observation on white sand beaches. The results of the research show that tourism development is not yet optimal because there are no real shortages that have not been maximized by each stakeholder, they do not yet know the results of tourism development. Abstract

Kabupaten sumenep telah memiliki perda tentang ketertiban umum yaitu Perda Nomor 3 Tahun 2002, namun fenomena yang saat ini terjadi di lapangan PKL yang berada di Jalan Diponegoro dari tahun 2019 hingga saat ini masih menjamur di jalan tersebut, sehingga Satpol PP Kabupaten Sumenep terkesan tidak punya nyali dalam menegakkan Perda Tentang ketertiban umum Nomor 3 Tahun 2002. Maka dari itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui sejauh mana evaluasi Perda Nomor 3 Tahun 2002 terhadap penertiban PKL di Jalan Diponegoro dengan menggunakan teori evaluasi kebijakan dari Samudra Wibawa (1998). Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, serta studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perumusan kebijakan melibatkan berbagai pihak melalui PROLEGDA, namun terkendala kesenjangan institusional karena Satpol PP baru terbentuk pada 2006. Implementasi kebijakan berdampak positif pada ekonomi PKL tetapi mengalami kendala koordinasi antar instansi. Kebijakan ini mengurangi pengangguran, namun menghadapi tantangan seperti kurangnya fasilitas, masalah sampah, dan kemacetan. Efektivitas kebijakan belum optimal karena ketidaksesuaian regulasi dan keterbatasan anggaran, sehingga diperlukan revisi kebijakan dan peningkatan kerjasama lintas sektor. Peneliti menyarankan revisi rutin kebijakan oleh DPRD berdasarkan masukan pemangku kepentingan, dukungan Diskoperindag dalam pengembangan infrastruktur dan dana.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out and analyze the role of Islamic financial services, Bank BPRS Bhakti Sumekar and Baitul Maal wat Tamwil (BMT) NU Jawa Timur in sustainable development in region with a majority Muslim population, Sumenep Regency, Madura, East Java. The research model is comparative-qualitative, comparing the two Islamic financial services of Bank BPRS Bhakti Sumekar and BMT NU Jawa Timur in developing structural and cultural-based Islamic financial services. Bank BPRS Bhakti Sumekar is structurally based as a Regional Owned Enterprise (BUMD) for the Sumenep Regency Government. BMT NU Jawa Timur is culturally based, founded, and run by the community. The data collection technique for this research was in-depth interviews, observing activities in the offices and branches of the two financial services. In addition, a search was carried out for relevant documents owned by the two financial institutions and online media and official websites related to the research topic. Focus group discussions were also conducted with Islamic finance experts. The research succeeded in uncovering the role of the two Islamic financial services in sustainable development in Sumenep Regency. Culturally-based Islamic financial services grow faster and are more resilient to economic crises.

Abstract

The development of live streaming on social media changes the broadcasting paradigm by offering freedom and interactivity, but raises new challenges regarding ethics and content control. This research aims to analyze the differences between conventional broadcasting which is strictly regulated by regulations and live streaming which is free and its impact on social norms and young audiences. Literature reviews are the main method for exploring these differences, including the influence of social media algorithms in driving sensational content. The results show that conventional broadcasting is more structured and able to maintain content quality, while live streaming often prioritizes engagement without strict controls, increasing the risk of spreading misinformation, inappropriate content, and the normalization of incompatible values. Young audiences are the most vulnerable group, affected by exposure to content that negatively impacts their self-image and behavior. The research conclusions highlight the importance of adaptive regulation, responsible algorithm development, and the role of parental and community education in mitigating negative impacts. This combination of approaches is necessary to maintain a balance between freedom of expression and social responsibility in modern broadcasting. Abstract

Industri pariwisata sebagai salah satu industri yang keberadaannya kini berkembang sangat pesat, dimana pemasaran destinasi pariwisata memiliki peran penting dalam memenangkan persaingan global. Dampak yang ditimbulkan oleh media sosial sudah seharusnya dimanfaatkan oleh pemerintah Kabupaten Sumenep khususnya DISBUDPORAPAR dalam mempromosikan pariwisata untuk lebih menjangkau banyak wisatawan. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pemanfaatan media sosial dalam mempromosikan pariwisata di Kabupaten Sumenep. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan media sosial dalam mempromosikan pariwisata di Kabupaten Sumenep. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data yang dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah urgensi dan upaya pemerintah Kabupaten Sumenep yang telah mendigitalisasi sistem pemerintahan yang awalnya melalui media konvensional menjadi menggunakan media sosial. Abstract

Abstract The 2006 Nepalese political movement marked a significant shift in the country's democratic history, with political parties playing a crucial role in garnering support and influencing public expectations. The democratic revolution in 2006 brought multiparty democracy back to Nepal, and this article explores the tactics, difficulties, and success of political parties in launching and maintaining the movement. Using historical narratives, primary materials, and academic examinations, the study explores how political parties evolved into catalysts for transformation, galvanized the populace, and engaged in negotiations with the king to initiate a new phase of democracy in Nepal. The movement's success was driven by complex dynamics influenced by social, political, and economic elements. The study uses historical research and political mobilization theories to investigate the role and contribution of political parties in the 2006 movement, examining their role as change agents, tactics, and influence on democratic transitions. The results provide insights into how political parties affect democratic processes, highlighting their role as uniting factors within movements. Abstrak Gerakan politik Nepal tahun 2006 menandai pergeseran yang signifikan dalam sejarah demokrasi negara ini, dengan partai-partai politik memainkan peran penting dalam menggalang dukungan dan mempengaruhi ekspektasi publik. Revolusi demokrasi pada tahun 2006 membawa demokrasi multipartai kembali ke Nepal, dan artikel ini mengeksplorasi taktik, kesulitan, dan keberhasilan partai-partai politik dalam meluncurkan dan mempertahankan gerakan tersebut. Dengan menggunakan narasi sejarah, materi primer, dan kajian akademis, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana partai-partai politik berevolusi menjadi katalisator transformasi, menggembleng rakyat, dan terlibat dalam negosiasi dengan raja untuk memulai fase baru demokrasi di Nepal. Keberhasilan gerakan ini didorong oleh dinamika yang kompleks yang dipengaruhi oleh elemen-elemen sosial, politik, dan ekonomi. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian sejarah dan teori mobilisasi politik untuk menyelidiki peran dan kontribusi partai politik dalam gerakan 2006, mengkaji peran mereka sebagai agen perubahan, taktik, dan pengaruhnya terhadap transisi demokrasi. Hasilnya memberikan wawasan tentang bagaimana partai politik mempengaruhi proses demokrasi, dengan menyoroti peran mereka sebagai faktor pemersatu dalam gerakan. Abstract

Abstract This study explores the role of Nepali Muslims in community engagement efforts aimed at promoting religious understanding in Nepal. This study uses a qualitative research technique to investigate how members of the Muslim community in Nepal take part in social activities aimed at addressing misunderstandings about Islam, promoting interfaith dialogue, and creating bridges with other religious groups. The research reveals the tactics, difficulties, and achievements of these activities through in-depth interviews, participant observations, and thematic analysis. It draws attention to the value of inclusive community involvement, the influence of sociopolitical settings, and the special contributions made by Nepali Muslims to more general initiatives aimed at promoting religious harmony and reconciliation. The results add to a more nuanced understanding of how minority-led grassroots initiatives might promote religious understanding in heterogeneous nations such as Nepal. For individuals who hold misconceptions about Muslims, this study will mark a significant milestone. Nepal is a great example for how different religious groups may coexist peacefully and harmoniously to create a common national identity without prejudice or hostility against one another. Other nations should take note of this. Keywords: Social initiatives; Religious coexistence; Minority groups; Grassroots efforts and Multicultural society Perspective Abstrak Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran Muslim Nepal dalam upaya pelibatan masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk mempromosikan pemahaman agama di Nepal. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik penelitian kualitatif untuk menyelidiki bagaimana anggota komunitas Muslim di Nepal mengambil bagian dalam kegiatan sosial yang bertujuan untuk mengatasi kesalahpahaman tentang Islam, mempromosikan dialog antaragama, dan menciptakan jembatan dengan kelompok-kelompok agama lain. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan taktik, kesulitan, dan pencapaian kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan, dan analisis tematik. Penelitian ini menarik perhatian pada nilai keterlibatan masyarakat yang inklusif, pengaruh lingkungan sosial-politik, dan kontribusi khusus yang diberikan oleh Muslim Nepal pada inisiatif yang lebih umum yang bertujuan untuk mempromosikan kerukunan dan rekonsiliasi agama. Hasil penelitian ini menambah pemahaman yang lebih bernuansa tentang bagaimana inisiatif akar rumput yang dipimpin oleh kaum minoritas dapat mempromosikan pemahaman agama di negara-negara yang heterogen seperti Nepal. Bagi individu yang memiliki kesalahpahaman tentang Muslim, penelitian ini akan menandai tonggak sejarah yang signifikan. Nepal adalah contoh yang baik tentang bagaimana kelompok-kelompok agama yang berbeda dapat hidup berdampingan secara damai dan harmonis untuk menciptakan identitas nasional yang sama tanpa prasangka atau permusuhan satu sama lain.
