One of the compounds contained in garlic is allicin. Pharmacologically, allicin has antibacterial, antifungal, antioxidant, and anticancer properties. Allicin found in garlic is formed from organosulfur compounds, namely gamma-glutamyl-s-allyl-cysteine and sally-L-cysteine sulfoxides through enzymatic reactions with the help of the enzyme allinase. As an antibacterial Allisin works by changing the features of proteins, lipids and polysaccharides on the membrane. bacterial cells. that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge and the attitude of 2018 students of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatra regarding the juice of garlic (Allium Sativum L.) in treating acne vulgaris. The research design used is descriptive research with a cross-sectional research design where each research subject is only observed once by distributing questionnaires through the google form application. Furthermore, the results are tabulated and the data is processed using Chi-square. The results of the level of knowledge of garlic juice in treating acne vulgaris in students of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatra Batch 2018 where sufficient knowledge is 78 people (75.7%), good knowledge 13 people (12.6%), and less knowledge 12 people 11.7%), while the results of attitudes where positive attitudes are 43 people (41,7%), and negative attitudes are 60 people (58,3%). For this reason, it is necessary to be vigilant by complying with early precautions for the transmission of the COVID-19 virus, namely by using masks and hand sanitizers. Diabetes Mellitus type 2 is a comorbid disease which is one of the risk factors for contracting COVID-19 and is very susceptible to occur in elderly sufferers. PROLANIS is a program that educates people with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. To determine the level of compliance of PROLANIS Diabetes Mellitus type 2 participants who use masks and hand sanitizers during the COVID-19 pandemic at the IMAN Medan Clinic. This type of research is a descriptive study with a case control design, namely a study using the case group and the control group. By taking the sample using consecutive sampling where the sample selection by determining the subjects who meet the research criteria are included in the study until a certain time, so that the number of respondents can be fulfilled. The results showed that adherence was higher in using Maker and Hand Sanitizer in the PROLANIS group and the Control group more in the female sex than the male gender. Diarrhea is a condition when a person with a frequency of defecation (defecation) more than 3 (three) times a day with a soft or liquid stool consistency and can even be liquid only. According to research data from the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2017, every year 525,000 cases of death in the community are caused by diarrheal disease. Diarrhea can be caused by contaminated food and drink through disease vectors. Flies are one of the mechanical vectors of various diseases because flies spread disease agents that come from various surfaces and contaminate the food and drinks they live on or only transfer bacteria that are on the surface of their bodies. This study aims to determine the relationship between fly density and waste treatment with the incidence of diarrhea in salted fish processing communities in Hajoran Village, Pandan District, Central Tapanuli Regency in 2022. This research is an observational analytic research with a cross-sectional study approach. The data collection method uses a questionnaire given to respondents who have met the inclusion criteria and measures the level of fly density using a fly grill. The sample collection method used a total population technique of 72 family heads. Based on the analysis conducted using the chi-square method, the results showed that there was a relationship between personal hygiene and the incidence of diarrhea with a value of p=0.042 (p<0.05), the relationship between basic sanitation and the incidence of diarrhea with a value of p=0.000 (p<0.05), and the relationship between the level of fly density and the incidence of diarrhea with a value of p=0.000 (p<0.05). Based on these results, there is a relationship between the level of fly density, personal hygiene, and basic sanitation with the incidence of diarrhea in the community.

According to the WHO (World Health Organization) among pre-school children, it is estimated that there are as many as 6-7 million new cases of xeropthalmia every year, approximately 10% of whom suffer corneal damage. Health problems in Indonesia risk Vitamin A deficiency (KVA) from the target number of 20 million toddlers. Prevalences of KVA based on a 1992 vitamin A survey showed xerapthalmia of 0.33%, but sublinically the prevalence of KVA ( serum retinol levels in the blood) in toddlers was 50%. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of maternal knowledge about giving vitamin A to toddlers. The research starts from January 2022 , What is descriptive by using primary data collected through questionnaires and this study is by random sampling with a population of 139 mothers and a sample of 58 people. This research was carried out at the Novi Lintas Timur midwife clinic, Panyabungan District, Mandailing Natal Regency in 2022. From the results of this study, it was shown that the majority of mothers of toddlers who had a lack of knowledge level were 43 people (74%), the minority who were knowledgeable enough as many as 5 people (8%). It is hoped that mothers who have toddlers should pay more attention to giving vitamin A to their children because at this time there are still many mothers who do not understand the importance of vitamin A in toddlers.
