Abstract

New type of Corona virus or SARS-CoV-2 which is spreading rapidly throughout the world, so WHO declared the Covid-19 outbreak a pandemic. Likewise, the Indonesian government has implemented large-scale social restrictions to suppress the spread of Covid-19. One of them is in the field of education, where learning is done online. Online academic activities can cause problems for physical health, due to physical inactivity and sedentary activities continuously. As a result of isolation activities and restrictions on these activities can also cause stress, where one response to stress is to increase food intake, especially delicious and energy-dense foods. To determine the relationship between physical activity and eating behavior in students at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatra, Class of 2018 during a pandemic. This study was conducted using a descriptive analytic method with a cross sectional design in December 2021 at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatra. Based on the results of the analysis, the demographic characteristics of the age group were mostly found at the age of 21 years –25 years with a total of 84 people (83.2%), the frequency of high physical activity being the highest number, namely 38 people (37.6%) and the frequency of unhealthy eating behavior. had the highest number of 56 people (55.4%) with p value = 0.001. Abstract

Duha prayer is a strong place of refuge in the face of adversity, when praying a person will feel calm and relaxed to stimulate the anterior pituitary, inhibiting the adrenal cortex so that blood pressure decreases. Prayer movements can cause a decrease in heart rate and can result in decreased cardiac output, which in turn will cause a decrease in systolic pressure, whereas a decrease in diastolic pressure will result in a decrease in peripheral resistance. the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the position of the 8 rakaat dhuha prayer on systolic and diastolic blood pressure and heart rate in elderly Muslim women. This type of research uses a quasi-experimental research study with a one group post test only research design which aims to determine the effect of the 8-rakaat dhuha prayer movement on systolic and diastolic blood pressure and heart rate in elderly Muslim women. Sampling using a total sampling of 37 people. Results: The results of the heart rate before the dhuha prayer (80.5±7.9), the heart rate after the dhuha prayer (75.8±7.1), systolic blood pressure before the dhuha prayer (148.1±17.9), diastolic blood pressure before dhuha prayer (90.2 ± 20.1), systolic blood pressure after dhuha prayer (141.7 ± 16.2), diastolic blood pressure after dhuha prayer (82.2 ± 9.6). Prayer movements have an effect on decreasing blood pressure and heart rate in the elderly. There is a significant effect on the position of the 8 rakaat dhuha prayer movement on systolic and diastolic blood pressure and heart rate in elderly Muslim women.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DBD) is a disease caused by dengue virus through the intermediary of female Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. Insecticides with chemicals are widely used as mosquito exterminators, but from previous research there is insecticide resistance. To reduce the incidence of resistance, many previous studies have made plant-based larvacides with plant-based ingredients. African leaves (Vernonia amygdalina) are plants that live in many tropical climates. African leaves (Vernonia amygdalina) contain alkaloid compounds, flavonoids, steroids, saponins and tannins. To find out the effectiveness of african leaf extract (Vernonia amygdalina) as a larvalide in the larvae of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. This study uses a pure experimental study design with a posttest with control design group design with a sample number of 625 larvae of Aedes aegypti instar III-IV in 5 repetitions. Within 24 hours of treatment the concentration of African leaf extract 5%, 10% and 15% showed 100% mortality of test larvae. In the 24-hour treatment there was no difference in the number of Aedes aegypti between African leaf extract and 1% abate. African leaf extract (Vernonia amygdalina) was effective at concentrations of 5%, 10% and 15% as plant-based larvacide in the larvae of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. It is hoped that further research will be conducted to determine the optimal dose of African leaf extract which can have a larvicidal effect on Aedes aegypti and to find the right treatment time to kill 100% of the test larvae.

Abstract

Interest is the tendency of people to be interested in an experience and to continue to do so. This tendency persists even when a person is busy doing other things. Activities that are followed by someone because the activity is interesting to him which is the embodiment of his interest, then there is a change in behavior. Student learning outcomes are everything that students get after experiencing the learning process. Everything that is intended, such as changes in behavior, understanding, skills, attitudes, and so on are relatively permanent in students. This research is aimed at the research block. Research block is a block where students will be prepared for their research skills. This block consists of five main topics such as research methodology, statistics, evidence-based medicine, ethics and Islamic perspectives on research. the purpose of this study was to describe the interest in learning and student learning outcomes of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatra. This study is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional research design. The sample in this study amounted to 177 people. The highest student interest was low interest, namely 166 people (93.8%). Meanwhile, student learning outcomes as indicated by the block test scores, most students got B grades as many as 128 people (72.3%). Most of the students have low interest in learning, even though their scores are good. Therefore, students must improve themselves so that they always have a high interest in learning so that they can get good learning outcomes.

Abstract

At the end of 2019, precisely in December, a new type of coronavirus was discovered, namely SARS COV 2 and was named Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID 19). Several experiments have shown that wearing surgical masks and N95 can protect the wearer from contracting the virus and transmitting the virus to others. The use of masks in the long term can cause problems on the skin including the emergence of , dermatitis, redness and pigmentation on the face. Maskne or Mask- is a term used when skin conditions are -prone and irritated in areas that are often covered by masks, namely in the nose to the chin area. To determine the relationship between the use of N95 masks and surgical masks on the incidence of acne vulgaris in medical personnel at Panyabungan Hospital. Analytical descriptive with a cross sectional study design where data collection was only done once and there was no follow-up to the sample. The data in this study were obtained from primary data through filling out questionnaires and analysis using the Mann Whitney test. From 54 respondents the duration of using surgical masks that cause with an average use of 6 hours/day and the duration of using surgical masks that do not cause with an average use of 6 hours/day. While the duration of using N95 masks that cause with an average use of 8 hours/day and the duration of using N95 masks that do not cause with an average use of 7.5 hours/day. The relationship between the use of surgical masks and the incidence of acne vulgaris obtained a p-value of 0.051 with = (p>o,o5), while the relationship between the use of N95 masks and the incidence of acne vulgaris obtained a p-value of 0.713 with = (p>o, o5). This shows that there is no significant relationship between the use of N95 masks and surgical masks on the incidence of acne vulgaris in medical personnel at Panyabungan Hospital.

Abstract

Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) is the most commonly used analgesic-antipyretic drug worldwide. The risk of abuse and the use of excessive doses can result in damage to the stomach organs (gastric ulcers). Various studies state that black cumin oil and honey are used as medicine for various health problems. Including having a protective effect against damage to the kidneys and liver, but there have been no studies studying the protective effect on the stomach. To compare the effectiveness of the combination of black cumin oil and trigona honey with black cumin oil plus sidr honey on the gastroprotective effect in Wistar rats induced by paracetamol. Experimental research with posttest only with controlled group design. A total of 4 groups were treated for 28 days. Macroskopic examination of the degree of gastric ulcer and histopathological assessment of the number of ulcer scores were carried out. Data analysis used the Kruskal-Wallis test followed by the Mann-Whitney test. There is an effect of giving a single dose of paracetamol 2 g/kg BW on the formation of gastric ulcers in rats characterized by an increase in the degree of gastric ulcers and an increase in the number of ulcer scores on KP (positive control). On macroscopic examination there was no significant difference in the administration of black cumin oil at a dose of 2 ml/kg BW plus sidr honey with a dose of 1 g/kg BW and black cumin oil at a dose of 2 ml/kg BW plus trigona honey at a dose of 7.4 ml/kg BW for 28 days on the stomachs of rats treated with has been induced by paracetamol. Giving paracetamol affects gastric damage in rats. And giving black cumin oil plus honey compared to black cumin oil plus trigona honey had the same gastroprotective effect.

Abstract

Pegadaian is one of the State-Owned Enterprises in Indonesia. In carrying out its functions and duties pawnshops offer loans with a mortgage system. Crediting must be accompanied by a guarantee. Objects collateral in the form of moving goods that come from belonging to the pledgor or an owned sipemberi bip lien, however, that to be a problem if the pledgor ensure the property of others borrowed then mortgaged without the knowledge or permission of the owner of the goods that sesungguhnya. Permasalahan raised was First about how the guarantee procedure for the object does not belong to the pawn shop at PT. Pegadaian (Persero).Secondly, how is the auction execution of pawning against the collateral object that does not belong to the pledge giver at PT. Pegadai an (Persero), Third, How is the legal protection of the pledge object owner in the auction execution of mortgage. The research method used is an empirical juridical method with the nature of descriptive analysis. The data used skunder .Hasil primary data and research indicate that provisions of Article 1152 of the Civil Code which gives the possibility that the goods pawned for debt collateral material status is not moveable, but can also bergerak material owned by others. The guarantee procedure for the object of guarantee that is not owned by the pawn shop is the same as binding the object of legal guarantees as evidenced by the Proof of Credit. So everyone who comes to the PT. Personal identity. The auction continues while the pledge has defaulted on the agreement agreed in accordance with the provisions in the Credit Proof Letter. Legal protection for the owner of the collateral pledge object which is actually on the auction of a pawn object is given by law namely if it is proven that the pawn recipient receives a pawn in a bad faith, then the pledge recipient is obliged to return the pawned goods to the real owner. Completion of this case demands from the owner of the object the real guarantee to PT. Pegadaian is not granted because in this case the real owner has no legal protection.

Abstract

Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is a condition where a woman experiences hormonal changes that cause a biological reaction in the body which then causes changes in physical condition, emotions, and behavior; that occurs before menstruation until the completion of the menstrual phase. These changes will often interfere daily activities. The purpose of this study was to explain the relationship between PMS (premenstrual syndrome) and emotional changes in a woman. The method used is literature review through the Google engine. The author is looking for research results and scientific studies that explain the relationship between emotional conditions and premenstrual syndrome in women. Changes in the hormone estrogen, namely increasing serotonin levels which play a role in mood or emotion, are one of the mayor factor that cause PMS. Regulation of emotion plays important role in minimizing PMS syndrome. Risk factors that play an important role are stress and physical exercise.
