Abstract

This study aims to obtain information about the relationship between the independent variables, namely; work facilities (X1), workload (X2), and work ethic (X3) with the dependent variable, namely employee work productivity (Y) of INK Supply System Department of PT Epson Batam, either individually or jointly. The population of this study is all employees of INK Supply System Department of PT Epson Batam, totalling 32 people. In this study, there is no classification of employee differences based on type or class status, both types of employment have the same treatment. Samples were taken using simple random sampling technique. The results showed that there was a significant positive effect of work facilities (X1), workload (X2), and work ethic (X3) on employee work productivity (Y) as indicated by the Fcount value of 30.799. This value is much smaller than the Fcount value at the 0.05 alpha significance level which is 2.95, or F = 30.799 < F0.05 (3:28) = 2.95. Thus, it means that the better the work facilities where employees work, the higher the workload of employees, and the higher the work ethic among employees, the higher the work productivity of these employees. The relationship pattern of the four variables expressed by the multiple regression equation = -11.443 + 0.497X1 + 0.079X2 + 0.937X3. Previously, based on validity and reliability tests, all instruments met the validity and reliability requirements. If calculated per variable, the variable that has the most influence is the work ethic variable, which has a coefficient of determination of 64.2%. This means that work ethic is the factor that most influences employee work productivity.

Abstract

Typhoid fever is an infection of the digestive tract caused by Salmonella typhi and Salmonella serovalr Palraltyphi (important causes of typhoid fever). Typhoid fever can be diagnosed based on clinical signs, symptoms, and laboratory tests. Leukopenia occurs due to the invasion of Sallmonellal Typhi Balcterial into halemopoetic organelles such as lymph nodes, tonsils, and the spleen of the spinal cord, thereby depressing the rate of hemopoiesis. Decreasing production of plaltelets in the bone malrrow can be caused by viral infections, malturaltion of plaltelet precursor cells in the bone malrrow, raldialtion, bone malrrow alplalsia, malignancy or cancer in the bone malrrow, and drugs that suppress blood cell production in the bone malrrow. This study used an observational alnallytic research method with a cross-sectional design. Daltal collection uses secondary daltal from medical records. The research sample of typhoid fever patients at RSUD Dr. Pirngaldi Medaln City in 2018–2021, which met the inclusion and exclusion criteria, was obtained with a total sample of 71 patients. Daltal alnallysis was performed univalrially and bivalrially using the chi squalre test. The result of this research is that there were 37 patients with Tubex-TF +4, 26 patients with Tubex-TF +6, and 8 patients with Tubex-TF +8. Leukocytes were detected in 9 patients, normal leukocytes in 58 patients, and abnormal leukocytes in 4 patients. Plaltelets were detected in 12 patients, normal plaltelets in 51 patients, and abnormal plaltelets in 8 patients. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between total leukocyte count and tubex-TF positive results in patients with typhoid fever. There is a relationship between plaque count and tubex-TF positive results in typhoid fever patients.

Abstract

Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is a condition in which a woman feels several changes in the body both physically, emotionally, and in behavior that occur before menstruation, so that it will interfere with daily activities and then disappear along with the end of the menstrual phase. The cause of this emergence is not clear. Some theories say, among others, due to hormonal factors, namely an imbalance between the hormones estrogen and progesterone. Experiencing other things, related to feeling disorders, psychological factors, social problems, or serotonin function experienced by sufferers. Behavioral factors are risk factors for premenstrual syndrome, one of which is caffeine consumption. The results of the study of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) in Sri Lanka in 2012, reported that the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome experienced by around 65.7% of adolescent girls. Abstract

The use of antibacterial is a solution to treat various infectious diseases. However, the mismatch of the dose given can lead to bacterial resistance to these antibacterial substances. So, it is necessary to renew or develop natural medicines to kill bacteria and prevent resistance. One type of plant that can be used as a natural antibacterial is aloe vera (Aloe vera L.) because it contains several active substances including saponins, flavonoids, tannins and polyphenols which are thought to have antibacterial activity. This study used an experimental method with a laboratory observation approach. the results showed that aloe vera extract (Aloe vera L.) in all concentration groups (20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, and 100%) had a significant difference. with a probability value (p) <0.05, which means that aloe vera extract is effective in inhibiting the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The conclusion here is Aloe vera extract ( Aloe Vera L) is effective in inhibiting the growth of Staphylococcus aureus

Abstract

Neuroendocrine differentiation in breast cancer has been recognised since 1963 but is hindered by frequently changing terminology and diagnostic criteria. Breast carcinoma of no special type with neuroendocrine differentiation (IBC-NST-NE) is diagnosed by identifying the presence and extent of NE features. This case report emphasises the significance of establishing the IBC-NST-NE diagnosis. A 75-year-old woman presented with a year-old left breast lump, rapidly enlarging over 3 months with multiple ulcerations and bloody nipple discharge. A needle biopsy confirmed ductal carcinoma. Radical mastectomy revealed a 7,5x7,3x4,9 cm, gray-white, lobulated mass with indistinct borders. Histopathology identified invasive ductal carcinoma with 30% exhibiting NE features—arranged in an insular and pseudorosette pattern, composed of polygonal cells with granular cytoplasm and salt-and-pepper chromatin. Synaptophysin and chromogranin A were positive in the neuroendocrine component, leading to the IBC-NST-NE diagnosis. Therapy of IBC-NST-NE follows standard IBC protocol; however, it has shorter disease-free survival, a poorer survival rate, higher distant metastasis rates, and a higher TNM stage at diagnosis. Diagnosing IBC-NST-NE is crucial for prognosis and enhances our understanding of neuroendocrine differentiation behaviour in breast cancer.
