<![CDATA[Therapeutic communication is applied by nurses in interacting with patients to increase mutual trust and if not applied will interfere with therapeutic relationships that have an impact on patient dissatisfaction. Patients will feel satisfied when the performance of health services obtained is the same or exceeds expectations and vice versa, dissatisfaction or feeling disappointed by the patient will arise if the performance of the health services obtained is not in line with their expectations. In nursing practice, communication is an important tool to foster teraupetic relationships and can affect the quality of nursing services while therapeutic communication is consciously planned communication, aims, activities focused on patient recovery and is a professional communication carried out by nurses. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of therapeutic communication of health workers on the satisfaction of hospitalized patients at Herna Medan General Hospital. This type of research is analytical survey research with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were 326 inpatients at Medan General Herna Hospital. So the sample size in this study amounted to 77 people (simple random sampling). The results showed that the majority of therapeutic communication was not good, patient satisfaction was not satisfied with the influence of therapeutic communication of health workers on the satisfaction of hospitalized patients in Herna Medan General Hospital p. Value 0.000 <0.005. It is expected that health workers improve therapeutic communication and improve services to improve service quality so that patient satisfaction can be optimized]]>

<![CDATA[Every company basically has a variety of different objectives. The goal is to increase profits, increase employee productivity, improve employee satisfaction and coaching, and the most important is how the company generates profits as large as. Financial performance assessment can be used to find out how much the company profits by comparing. The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze the "Effect of Business Income, Operational Costs and Total Asset Turnover on Net Profit at PT Mega Central Autoniaga Medan for the 2013-2017 Period. The method used in this study is descriptive analysis method by describing or describing the data that has been collected as it is without the intention to make conclusions that apply to the general or generalization. The data analysis method used is Multiple Linear Regression using SPSS software. The results of the study show that business income, operational costs and total assets turnover simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on net income at PT Mega Central Autoniaga Medan for the 2013-2017 period. In the coefficient of determination Adjusted R2 value obtained at 30.4% means variable variations in business income, operational costs and total assets turnover can explain the effect on net profit while the remaining 69.6% is a variation of other variables not explained in this study for example capital etc. Business income partially has a positive and significant effect on net income at PT Mega Central Autoniaga Medan for the 2013-2017 period]]>

<![CDATA[This study was aimed to find out the improvement of the students’ listening comprehension ability through storytelling. The study was conducted by using Classroom Action Research. It was done through 1) planning, 2) action, 3) observation, and 4) reflection. The location of the research was SMA Negeri 11 Medan. To get the sample of the research, the researcher took one class, it was class XI IPA1. This research applied quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data were taken from the students' listening comprehension test. Qualitative data were taken from questionnaires sheet. Based on the listening comprehension test scores, students’ score keep improving in every test. In the Pre-test the mean score was 31, in the first cycle test the mean score was 54,33, and in the second cycle test the mean score was 92,66. The improvement also can be seen from the percentage of students’ listening comprehension; in Pre-test no one of the students got 75 point, so got 0%. In first cycle test 10% (3 students) got 75 points. It means there was an improvement about 10%. In the second cycle test 100% (30 students) got 75 points. The improvement was 90%. It proved by the ability of the students score to answer the questions of the test. It means that teaching by using storytelling can improve students’ achievement in listening comprehension. <![CDATA[Diarrhea is one of the main causes of morbidity and mortality in childhood in developing countries. Diarrhea is caused by various factors, one of which is the administration of MP-ASI that is too early. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of ASI (MP-ASI) supplementation with the incidence of diarrhea in infants in Dusun 1 Simpang 3 Village Bandar Baru Subdistrict Sibolangit Regency in 2017 This type of research is analytical research with cross sectional design. The isolation of this study is that all mothers / families of knickknacked babies get MP-ASI and seek treatment at Pustu Dusun 1 Simpang 3, Bandar Baru Subdistrict, Sibolangit Regency in November 2016 - February 2017, taken by purposive simple technique. Bivariate analysis using the chi square test . The results showed that there was a significant relationship between complementary food ASI (MP-ASI) and the incidence of diarrhea in infants with -value 0.006 (<= 0.05). <![CDATA[Introduction: Honey is one of the human food ingredient produced by bees. Honey is a food that is special and has a high nutritional value. Honey contains many minerals, flavonoids and phenolic acids substance that serves as an antioxidant agent that can prevent kidney damage. A drink or a traditional medicine belonging to the liquor if it contains alcohol> 1%. Tuak is a typical alcoholic beverage from batak, made from coconut or palm stems taken the water and then mixed with raru. Objective: This research is to know the effectiveness of honey in renal function (urea and creatinine) white rat (Rattus norvegicus L.) Wistar male in induction palm wine. Methodology: The research used True Experiment method with "pretest-posttest with control group design" design Result: The results show that the P value for urea number is <0.05, and the P value for creatinine levels also showing <0.05. Conclusion: there is an effect of honey in renal function (urea and creatinine) white rat (Rattus norvegicus L.) Wistar male in induction palm wine (Tuak ).]]>

<![CDATA[This study deals with speech acts used in film. The objectives of this research were to find out the types of locutionary acts used in Gnomeo and Juliet’s Film. Descriptive qualitative method was applied in this study. After collecting the data, then the data was classified and analyzed based on the subcategories of locutionary acts. The results of this research shows The use of the types of locutionary acts in Gnomeo and Juliet’s Film are Phonetic Acts with the total number of 5 utterences or 21.73%; Phatic Acts with the total number of 18 utterences or 78.27%; Rhetic Acts with the total number of none.]]>

<![CDATA[The pattern of family communication is the dominant thing in dealing with depression problems. Good family communication in the form of family support can help the elderly in facing life problems and it will be difficult to experience depression. The problem of the elderly can be overcome by giving motivation in the form of good communication. This study aims to identify the relationship of family communication patterns with the level of elderly depression. The design of this study was cross sectional. The population of this study were elderly people aged 60-80 years both women and men who lived with a sample family of 30 respondents. The study was conducted in May-June 2018. The results of the study were analyzed by Chi-Square Test to see the relationship between the two variables, namely family communication patterns and the level of elderly depression, then the results of the study were presented using frequency distribution tables. The results of the study were 24 people (46.6%) respondents who had dysfunctional family communication patterns, and as many as 6 people (10.0%) had functional communication patterns. 1 person (0.33%) normal, 9 people (30.0%) mild to moderate depression, 20 people (66.6%) major depression. The results of the statistical test were obtained p = 0.003 (p <0.05) which showed that there was a significant relationship between family communication patterns and the level of elderly depression. Suggestion to the village head to make an activity that involves the elderly towards the elderly community so that they can share and share stories with their peers.]]>

<![CDATA[Job satisfaction is influenced by many factors, one of which is Hezberg's theory of motivation factors. Empirically leadership influences job satisfaction by 66.1%. in addition compensation also has an effect on satisfaction, seen from the results of research by I Putu and Komang with a significance value of 0,000. From the survey conducted and the problems that occurred in Sidikalang Hospital regarding the lack of job satisfaction for nurses regarding the leadership of the head of the room, work motivation, and compensation. This study aims to determine the relationship of Leadership, Motivation and Compensation with Nurse Job Satisfaction in Sidikalang Hospital, Dairi District in 2018. This study used an analytical survey approach with a cross sectional design. The population was 75 inpatients inpatient care at Sidikalang Hospital, all of which were used as samples. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires to inpatient nurses. Data analysis using Chi-Square test with a confidence level of 95% (p <0.05). The results showed that the leadership of the head of the room (p = 0.00), nurse work motivation (p = 0.001) and nurse work compensation (p = 0.022) had a relationship with nurse job satisfaction where the value of p <0.05. The most influential factor on job satisfaction is the leadership of the head of the room, where the value of Exp (B) is 44,246 times by showing nurses who feel dissatisfied with their work may be due to poor leadership compared to nurses who are satisfied. It is recommended for the head of the room to adopt a consultative leadership style and be responsive in increasing nurse job satisfaction]]>

<![CDATA[This Research is an empirical research about “The Influence of Control and Employee Job Satisfaction on Society Service in Honda Meranti Motorcycle Repair Shop”. The quantitative and qualitative data are analyzed by using SPSS version 15. Validition test is done by comparing between r table value with r counted value (correlated-itemtotal correlation). If r counted value > r table, so the item is valid. Reliability is measured by Cronbach alpha > 0,5 shows that testing requirement is fulfilled. It hypothesis is tested by using or seeing the coefficient table result at t value ( t sig. or t significant) H1 = 0,000 or probability is below 0,05 and H2 = 0,004 or probability is below 0,05, it shows that H1 and H2 are accepted means that there is an influence of tight control and job satisfaction on society service in Honda Meranti Motorcycle Repair Shop. Hypothesis testing (H3) uses ANOVA table on F value (F sig or F significance) = 0,000 or probability far below 0,05. It shows that H3 is accepted means that there is the influence of tight control on job satisfaction simultaneously on society service in Honda Meranti Motorcycle Repair Shop. Regression on the influence of control and job satisfaction on society service in Honda Meranti Motorcycle Repair Shop shows that determinant coefficient (R2) = 0,592 (59,2%) and statistically significant (P ≤ 0,05). This result shows only 59,2% in tight control variable and job satisfaction are explained simultaneously influence on society service, the rest is 40,8% is explained by other independent variable that cannot be observed in this research.]]>

<![CDATA[The study aims to reveal how the image of Joko Widodo, one of the presidential candidates, was formed and presented in the Kompas Daily Newspaper during the 2014 presidential election campaign. This research is descriptive qualitative in the form of Joko Widodo's image depicted by Evaluation Theory (TE), or commonly known as Appraisal Analysis (AA) developed by Martin & White (2005) based on Halliday (1994) Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL) Theory. The corpus data of this study consisted of 100 main headlines of the Kompas Daily Newspaper taken during the campaign period of the official presidential election in 2014.
