Abstract

The problem on this study is that it is still lack of child creativity particularly in the arts. This can be seen from children who are not yet able to discriminate color and name color precisely as well as the use of less supportive game media in the development of child creativity. The purpose of the study was To figure outhow to increase child art creativity through coconut amply collage games. The type of research used is qualitatively descriptive. Paud Al-Faiz's child research subject Paya Bujok Tunong Langsa numbered 10 group B children and research objects increased creativity through coconut dregs games. The instruments usedon research through observation, interviews and documentation. As for the research results in this study that is, there is an increase in child art creativity while playing collage game. 90% of children who have started to be able to work on activities according to teacher intruction and are able to work according to indicators.

Abstract

In a number of junior high schools based on the Islamic boarding school in Lhokseumawe city do not have Arabic teachers with educational backgrounds according to their fields of expertise, this will affect the professionalism of teachers in teaching Arabic subjects. The purpose of this study was to explain the leadership style of principal’s Junior High School (MTsS) in carrying out their duties, to descripe the professionalism of Arabic Junior high School (MTsS) teachers in carrying out their duties and to know the influence of principal leadership style on the professionalism of Arabic Junior High School teachers in Islamic boarding school in Lhokseumawe City. The method used is a survey method with a quantitative approach, the sample is 27respondents. Data analyzes using simple linear regression. The results showed that 81% (22 teachers) favored the principal's leadership style and 70% (19 Arabic language teachers) were able to develop their professional competencies. Simple linear regression test results show the significance value for the influence of X on Y is 9,308> 2,055, thus there is a significant influence of school leadership on the professionalism of Arabic MTsS Islamic boarding School teachers in Lhokseumawe.

Abstract

Despite applying Islamic sharia, the city of Langsa, through Universitas Samudera, was able to become a newmagnet for non-Muslim students as an educational destination in Aceh. On the other hand, as a minority, theirexistence needs to be explored. This study aims to describe the forms of tolerance accepted by non-Muslimstudents, describe the impact of tolerance on their daily lives, and describe the power relations between lecturersand non-Muslim students. This research took place from May to October 2019 and involved five non-Muslimstudents, two religious lecturers and a campus authority representative. This study uses a qualitative approachwith ethnographic types, and uses three methods of data collection, namely observation (fieldnotes), interviews(open-ended questions) and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) which are analyzed using reading, describing, andclassifying techniques. The results of this study indicate that there are several forms of tolerance accepted bynon-Muslim students, namely; the option to not take the semester exams and take grades from the church, thefreedom to work on assignments according to their perspectives and beliefs, and given the freedom to participatein discussions. Apart from the power of lecturers to carry out Islamization, religious lecturers carry out theirduties professionally. The effort of Islamization is carried out by providing a correct explanation of Islamaccompanied by evidence of its truth, not in striking and coercive ways.

Abstract

Understanding the concept is a benchmark students can proceed to the next stage in the learning process. Van Hiele's thinking stage is a solution to direct students to the actual concept of geometry. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an increase in understanding of the geometrical concepts of eighth grade students of SMPN 8 Langsa through Van Hiele thinking stages. This study used a One Group Pretest-Posttest Desaign research design. With a population of all eighth grade students of SMPN 8 Langsa, the sample was selected using a simple random sampling technique, namely grade VIII1 students. The instrument uses the ability to understand the ability of geometric concepts in the form of a description consisting of 6 questions. From the results of the calculation of the percentage of students understanding the concept of geometry shows an increase of 48%. The results of data analysis obtained that count> ttable is 12.59> 2.08, this means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so the conclusion obtained is that there is an increase in understanding of students' geometry concepts through the stages of van hiele thinking at SMPN 8 Langsa.

Abstract

This article aims to export the History of Islamic Education which has lasted approximately 14 centuriesago, that is, since the prophet Muhammad was sent to be an apostle. Initially education took place simply,with the mosque as the center of the learning process, the Koran and Hadith as the main curriculum of theProphet himself acted as a teacher in the education process, but after the Prophet's death Islam continuedto develop to the end of the Arabian peninsula. Islamic educational institutions are very important inachieving the success of the education process, because the institution functions as a mediator inregulating the course of the educational process. Nowadays it seems that education cannot be called ifthere is no institution. Because education plays a central role in Islam. Science becomes the backbone ofIslamic teachings. More than 800 verses of the Qur’an mention, allude or discuss the importance of science.Just a comparison, only 90 Qur'anic verses discuss fiqh or Islamic jurisprudence. Islamic education, is veryclosely related to educational institutions because an Islamic education has an institution that helps.Islamic educational institutions are a place or place where the process of Islamic education takes placesimultaneously with the process of civilization, and it starts from the family environment.

Abstract

Learning mathematics in elementary school should use several learning strategies, thegoal is to facilitate the teaching and learning process. Based on the results ofpreliminary observations in four grade showed that students were not able to countthe same-denominated fractions and those with different denominations. The use ofthis contextual teaching and learning (CTL) strategy aims to improve the ability tocount students and to find out the activities carried out by students, especially infraction material in four grade of MIN Peureulak. This research is a classroom actionresearch (PTK), carried out in two cycles at IV/a class. The instrumens used to obtaindata in this study were tests and observations. Data were analyzed using thepercentage formula. The results showed that there was an increase in the level ofcompleteness of student learning outcomes slassically in cycle one totaling 42%. In thesecond cycle increased to 77%, and there was an increase in student learning activitiesis in cycle one totaling 73% and cycle two it increase to 87%. Based on the results ofthis it can be concluded that the application of contextual teaching and learning (CTL)strategies can improve student’s counting abilities and can improve learning activitiesespecially in fraction material in four grade of MIN Peureulak

Abstract

Mathematical communication is a combination of understanding and doingmathematics. The purpose of this research is to review students' mathematicalcommunication skills as measured through tests. The research method used was asurvey method. The research sample taken as a whole or referred to as total sampling.Data collection tool used in the form of a descriptive test analyzed descriptively. Theresults of the data analysis showed that the mathematical representation ability ofstudents included in the category of adequate or sufficient or equal to 59.70%, in thecategory of less than 40.29%

Abstract

The availability of learning tools is one indicator the teacher has prepared a learning planproperly. However, existing learning tools have not triggered students' creative thinkingabilities. This study aims to produce learning tools by using the Treffinger learning model toimprove the mathematical creative thinking ability of junior high school students. This type ofresearch is development research. The results of this study indicate that the learning devicemeets the effective criteria. Effectiveness can be seen in the results of positive responses ofstudents namely 89.5% and the results of student learning tests on the indicator of fluencyreached 97.7%, flexibility reached 86.7%, and authenticity reached 23.5%, so the ability tothink creatively is at the level 3 (creative).

Abstract

Realistic mathematics learning is a teaching approach that starts from "real" things for students. Fraction problems are often found in daily life and are felt difficult by most students in SD.N.Kp.Baroh Langsa so that student learning outcomes are still relatively low. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the use of Realistic Mathematics Learning can improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of Semester II SD.N.Kp.Baroh Langsa. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach and the type of research is classroom action research consisting of 2 cycles. The research subjects are grade IV students of SD.N.Kp.Baroh Langsa, amounting to 33 students. Data analysis used a comparative descriptive analysis technique by comparing conditions in cycle I and cycle II. Based on the results of research at the end of the second cycle it is known that there has been an increase in the class average of 29.16% from an average ofthe first cycle test of only 58.18 up to 75.15. Then completeness of student learning also increased by 87.50% from the first cycle that has been completed only 16 students to 30 students. So that most of the fourth-grade students of SD.N.Kp.Baroh Langsa experienced an increase in learning outcomes in fractional material. Thus it can be concluded that the use of realistic mathematics learning in fraction material can improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of the second semester of SD.N.Kp.Baroh Langsa.

Abstract

The presence of Islam in the area of the Aceh community has a color that has its own focal point in the development of the socio-cultural history of the Acehnesepeople themselves. In the history of the people of Aceh, that Aceh itself consists of several small kingdoms, such as; Samudra Pasai, Peureulak, Pidie and Daya,with the unity of all the kingdoms of Aceh, then Aceh became a big country.
