Abstract

This article aims to explain how a school principal is able to shape the character of teachers and students through the application of pedagogical leadership in schools. Pedagogical leadership is leadership that is able to provide examples of positive behavior to all components in the school, both teachers, education staff and students. The discussion method was taken through a study of the library with various references relating to the formation of the character of the teacher and students, as well as their relationship with the principal's pedagogical leadership. The results of the literature review from various books and journals provide a clarity of the concept that to shape the character of teachers, education staff and students in schools a pedagogical leadership behavior model is needed, namely the principal's leadership that is able to provide role models through positive behavior, such as honesty, good heartedness, accustomed to the truth and mastered in the scientific field they have. The results of the study prove that the formation of teacher and student character is strongly influenced by the ability of principals to implement pedagogical leadership in a school-led environment.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the factors that influence the interest of non-Muslims in Langsa Aceh to save in sharia banks. This study with non-Muslim samples in Langsa Aceh uses field research with a focus on interviews and observations to find data. Furthermore, the data is reduced and processed with rules that have been determined in the field research system. The findings of this study indicate four important factors that influence the interest of non-Muslims in Langsa Aceh to save in sharia banks. First is knowledge factor, second is location factor, third is promotion factor, and fourth is environmental factor. An important recommendation from this research is that sharia banks realize the enthusiasm of non-Muslims to save in sharia banks so that they become a focus of promotion and socialization. Sharia banks must offer an objective system of the advantages of the Islamic banking system.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss one result of research on the response of lecturers to higher education budgeting and the response of lecturers to their performance so far implemented and to determine whether budgeting has a positive effect on lecturer performance in the Aceh State Islamic Religious College (PTKIN). Data collection was carried out at five PTKIN in Aceh, namely UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh, IAIN Langsa, IAIN Lhokseumawe, STAIN Meulaboh, and STAIN Takengon. The population and sample were derived from the lecturers' is data in the staffing section of each PTKIN Aceh, and then determined using the Slovin formula. The type of research chosen is the Mix Method, using descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing using simple regression. The results of the analysis found that the lecturers gave a good response to the budgeting carried out by the team at PTKIN Aceh and the performance results practiced by the PTKIN Aceh lecturers were also good. Meanwhile, the results of hypothesis testing found that there was no significant effect of budgeting on the performance of PTKIN lecturers in Aceh province.

Abstract

Untuk memberikan kontribusi dalam upaya peningkatan Kinerja dosen IAIN Langsa, salah satu perlu dilakukan pengkajian terhadap berbagai faktor, terutama faktor perilaku kepemimpinan dan komitmmen lembaga. Untuk mengetahui secara empiris, maka perlu dilakukan suatu penelitian tentang: Kontribusi Perilaku Kepemimpinan Dalam Memperkuat Komitmen Lembaga dan Kinerja Dosen di IAIN Langsa. Penelitian bertujuan untuk melihat adakah pengaruh perilaku kepemimpinan terhadap upaya peningkatan kinerja dosen, adakah pengaruh perilaku kepemimpinan terhadap komitmen lembaga, dan adakah pengaruh komitmen lembaga mampu terhadap kinerja dosen di IAIN Langsa. Untuk menjaring informasi tersebut dirancang tiga perangkat instrumen, yaitu dengan mengunakan angket. Angket variabel kepemimpinan terdiri dari 17 butir pertanyaan, angket komitmen lembaga 12 pertanyaan, dan angket kinerja dosen 16 butir pertanyaan. Anket ini dibagikan kepada seluruh dosen yang ditetapkan sebagai sampel berjumlah 100 orang dosen, dari jumlah populasi 384 orang. Analisis data yang gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan uji statistik Reggression Matrix Y on X (Standardized). Hasil analisis memberikan kesimpulan bahwa: 1) Perilaku kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif terhadap komitmen lembaga; 2) Perilaku kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja dosen dan; 3) Komitmen lembaga berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja dosen.

Abstract

Learning mathematics in elementary school should use several learning strategies, thegoal is to facilitate the teaching and learning process. Based on the results ofpreliminary observations in four grade showed that students were not able to countthe same-denominated fractions and those with different denominations. The use ofthis contextual teaching and learning (CTL) strategy aims to improve the ability tocount students and to find out the activities carried out by students, especially infraction material in four grade of MIN Peureulak. This research is a classroom actionresearch (PTK), carried out in two cycles at IV/a class. The instrumens used to obtaindata in this study were tests and observations. Data were analyzed using thepercentage formula. The results showed that there was an increase in the level ofcompleteness of student learning outcomes slassically in cycle one totaling 42%. In thesecond cycle increased to 77%, and there was an increase in student learning activitiesis in cycle one totaling 73% and cycle two it increase to 87%. Based on the results ofthis it can be concluded that the application of contextual teaching and learning (CTL)strategies can improve student’s counting abilities and can improve learning activitiesespecially in fraction material in four grade of MIN Peureulak

Abstract

This article discusses the quality assurance performance of the Aceh State Islamic Religious College (PTKIN), which is influenced by motivation and job satisfaction in the implementation of quality assurance. This article describes three important things, namely describing the response of quality assurance implementers on motivation and job satisfaction, and proving quantitatively about the contribution of both to the quality assurance performance of PTKIN Aceh. Obtaining data through a survey questionnaire on motivation, job satisfaction and performance. Data analysis used descriptive analysis techniques to explain motivation responses and job satisfaction. Testing the performance hypothesis of PTKIN Aceh quality assurance using a simple regression test. The results of the analysis concluded that the motivation and job satisfaction of the Aceh PTKIN quality assurance implementers in implementing the quality assurance system was Strong or Good, and had a significant positive effect on the motivation and job satisfaction variables on the performance of the Aceh PTKIN quality assurance implementers.

Abstract

Artikel ini mempermasalahkan tentang pengaruh kepuasan kerja dosen terhadap komitmen Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri (PTKIN) di Provinsi Aceh. Tujuan PEMBAHASAN adalah untuk menginformasikan seberapa besarnya kontribusi kepuasan kerja dosen berpengaruh terhadap Komitmen PTKIN di Provinsi Aceh. Untuk memperoleh data digunakan instrumen angket, yaitu angket survei kepuasan kerja dosen dan angket survey komitmen PTKIN. Angket ini di bagikan kepada dosen yang telah ditetapkan sebagai sampel dari populasi yang telah ditentukan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan di lima PTKIN yang terdiri dari IAIN Langsa, IAIN Lhokseumawe, IAIN Takengon, STAIN Meulaboh dan UIN Ar-raniry Banda Aceh. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji statistik regresi linear, dan berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis ditemukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh kepuasan kerja dosen terhadap komitmen PTKIN Provinsi Aceh. Besarnya nilai kontribusi kepuasan kerja dosen terhadap komitmen sebesar 0,131 dan nilai sig = 0,036. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis memberikan satu keyakinan bahwa kepuasan kerja dosen memberikan pengaruh terhadap komitmen PTKIN di Provinsi Aceh.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja dosen IAIN Langsa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di IAIN Langsa dengan melibatkan 84 dosen yang sedang aktif mengajar pada tahun akademik 2015/2016 dan semua dosen ditetapkan sebagai sampel penelitian. Variable dalam penelitian ini adalah kepuasan kerja, komitmen organisasi, dan kinerja dosen. Instrumen penelitian terlebih dahulu diuji coba, yaitu untuk menguji validitas dengan korelasi Product Moment dan untuk menguji reliabilitasnya dengan Formula Alpha dari Cronbach. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dalam dua tahap yakni secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Uji persyaratan analisis mencakup uji normalitas dan uji linearitas regresi. Uji normalitas data setiap variable menggunakan One Sample Kolmogorov Smirnof Test. Uji kelinearan regresi antar variable dilakukan dengan menggunakan statistic F test. Sedangkan untuk menguji hipotesis digunakan analisis jalur (path Analysis). Hasil Penelitian diperoleh bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja dosen IAIN Zawiyah Cot Kala Langsa, dan (2) terdapat Pengaruh signifikan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja dosen IAIN Langsa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, kinerja dosen IAIN Langsa dipengaruhi oleh faktor kepuasan kerja, dan komitmen organisasi. Untuk itu, pimpinan IAIN Langsa perlu mengevaluasi bagaimana komitmen yang dibangun pada lembaga dan bagaimana pula upaya yang harus dilakukan agar kepuasan kerja dosen dapat dirasakan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the magnitude of the value of the influence of the work climate on the work productivity of private university lecturers in Aceh Province. The population of this research is the number of lecturers in 8 (eight) private universities in Aceh Province, namely Gajah Putih Takengon University, Al Muslim Bireuen University, Gunung Leuser University Aceh, Jabal Ghafur Sigli University, Abulyatama University, Muhammadiyah University Aceh, Serambi Mekah University Banda Aceh, Usman Safri High School, with a total of 1769 people, while the number of samples taken by proportional sampling is 313 people. The research instrument used a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The research data were analyzed with a simple regression analysis that began with the analysis requirements test, including normality test, linearity test and significance of a regression. The results showed that; the work climate directly determines the work productivity of Aceh's private lecturers by 0.3512 = 0.09, the rest is influenced by other variables outside of this research variable. Conclusion of the regression test of 9% and the results of the linearity calculation obtained a simple regression equation Y = 44.79 + 0.41X. This shows that work productivity is influenced by the competence of lecturers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa pada materi sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran yaitu media Audio Visual berupa video. Media Audio Visual adalah suatu rangkaian gambar elektronis yang disertai oleh unsur suara (audio) maupun unsur gambar (visual) yang saling bersatu membentuk sebuah pesan pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan One Grup Pretest-Postest Desain dengan populasinya seluruh siswa kelas X IPA 1 SMA N 3 Langsa sebanyak 36 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis berbentuk uraian terdiri dari 5 butir soalyang telah divalidasi. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t. berdasarkan hasil analaisi data yang diperoleh = 24,57 dan = 1,69 sehingga maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa H0 diterima dan Ha ditolak pada taraf signifikan . Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa “terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa setelah menggunakan media audio visual”. Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan media audio visual ini bahwa mereka suka mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunkan media berupa video sehingga lebih mudah memahami materi pembelajaran.
