Abstract

Parents who have mentally retarded children will surely experience different challenges compared to those who have normal children. Parents whose children experience mental retardation usually get psychological pressure, resulting in stress and depression because parents feel lost hope for their children. The parents' emotional reactions immediately explode. The explosion of anger mixed with feelings of sadness, disappointment, frustration, pessimism, impatience, and shame. The purpose of this study was to determine the psychological description of parents of children with mental retardation in SLB Negeri 1 Bulukumba in 2018. The research method uses a descriptive design with a simple approach. The population in this study was 42 people. The research sample of 30 respondents. Data obtained through questionnaire sheets made by researchers to respondents. The results of this study showed that parents who experienced mild stress were 1 respondent (3.3%), moderate stress were 23 respondents (76.7%), while the level of severe stress was 6 respondents (20.0%). Then those with high coping are 27 respondents, and low coping is 3 respondents (10%). The conclusion from this study found that more parents experience moderate stress than mild and severe stress. Then, more parents have high coping than low coping.

Abstract

World Health Organization (WHO) in 2016 The rate of obesity in children in Indonesia was 11.5% and ranked 21st in the world. The purpose of this study was to find out the differences in characteristics of obese and overweight children in coastal and mountainous areas in Bulukumba District in 2018. The population in this study were obese and overweight children in 32 Bulukumba Junior High School, 18 Bulukumba Junior High School, and 14 Bulukumba Junior High School. The population in this study with the number of 423 respondents, the sample of this study were 71 respondents of the sampling technique used total sampling technique. This type of research is analytic research with a cross-sectional approach. The test used for differences in the characteristics of obese and overweight children in coastal and mountainous areas in Bulukumba Regency is the chi-square test with the results of the study that most of the students in high schools in the mountains who are obese are 17 respondents (44.7%) and those who are overweight (fat) 21 respondents (55.3). While most of the coastal areas were obese as many as 10 respondents (26.3%) and those who were overweight (fat) were 23 respondents (60.5%). The conclusion of this study is, "There are differences in the characteristics of obese and overweight children in the coastal and mountainous areas of Bulukumba District in 2018. The suggestions in this study can add library references and insights from students of Stikes Panrita Husada Bulukumba.

Abstract

Academic achievement is something that cannot be separated from learning activities, because learning activities are a process, while academic achievement is the output of the learning process. In achieving learning achievement, there are several factors, one of which is the person's environment, the environment is one of the factors that influence the formation and development of individual behavior, both the physical and psychological environment, including learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the Analyst Changes in the Academic Achievement Index Based on the Environment in the Health Analyst DIII Study Program at STIKES Panrita Husada Bulukumba in 2018. This type of research is descriptive with a comparative study approach. This study uses a total sampling technique with an observation sheet research instrument. The results of this study indicate that Most of the residence of DIII study program students Health analysts live more with parents than living in the dormitory, the level of achievement of DIII study program students Health analyst every year has decreased this caused by several factors, be it interests, motivations, and the place of the residence itself. Based on changes in academic achievement in semester 1 the number of respondents based on the Predicate in Health Analyst DIII Study Program found the number of respondents in Semester 1. Predicate Compliment as many as 21 respondents (27.6%), Very Satisfactory Predicate of 37 respondents (48.7%), Predicate of Satisfaction of 16 respondents (21.1%), Predicate of Unsatisfaction of 2 respondents (2.6%) In semester 2, the number of respondents based on the Predicate in Health Analyst DIII Study Program found the number of predicate respondents in Semester 2. The predicate of praise was 12 respondents (15.8%), Very Satisfactory Predicate of 25 respondents (32.9%), Predicate of Satisfaction of 24 respondents (31.6%), Predicate of Not Satisfactory 15 respondents (19.7%).

Abstract

Premarital sexual behavior in adolescents has increased from year to year which has an impact on the quality of adolescents, at risk of contracting HIV / AIDS, early marriage, unwanted pregnancy, and continued abortion. Teenage knowledge about the dangers of premarital sexual behavior is very little. The family still considers taboo everything related to sex and counseling from the government or the school is still lacking. While adolescent relationships are now increasingly difficult to control. This study aims to determine the relationship of promiscuity with premarital sexual behavior in high school adolescents in 2018. The design of this study uses analytic observational research with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study was all 118 high school students with a random sampling technique with a systematic random sampling approach to modification of simple random sampling. The number of samples in this study was 55 people. Data obtained through questionnaires made by researchers to respondents who have tested the validity. Data analysis used the Chi-square test with significance level α = 0.05. The results of the data analysis show that p = 0.00 means that there is a relationship between promiscuity and premarital sex behavior among high school adolescents in Bulukumba in 2018. From the results of this research, suggestions that can be given to related institutions, in this case, the Health Office and high school schools can increase counseling about premarital sexual behavior in adolescents at an early stage and need to limit relationships between adolescent boys and girls.

Abstract

Obesity is defined as abnormal or excessive fat accumulation that can interfere with health. In 2015, more than 1.9 billion adults were overweight and 400 million of them were obese. Various types of anthropometry can be used to determine the occurrence of obesity, these methods include measurement of body mass index (BMI). Arm circumference, and abdominal circumference. Body mass index is an indicator of obesity that is widely used to estimate the composition of body fat. Based on an initial survey conducted in April-May the number of obesity increased until June-July 2018. From the results of a preliminary study conducted by researchers, more productive-age housewives were obese I than obesity II. An anthropometric picture of obese housewives in Taccorong Village, Bulukumba District was known. The method used in this research is descriptive with a simple approach. Sampling was carried out with a purposive sampling technique. The population in this study was 1,011 people. The sample in this study was 62 respondents. The results of this study indicate that housewives of productive age who have a picture (obesity I) BMI 25-29.9 amounted to 59.7%, and (obesity II) BMI ≥ 30 by 40.3%, normal upper arm circumference of 24, 2%, abnormal upper arm circumference 75.8%, and abdominal circumference 62%. The conclusion of this study is that housewives who are obese in Taccorong Village, Bulukumba Regency are based on productive age (15-49) years old, with young adults (18-35) years totaling 37 (59.7%) respondents and old adulthood (36-49 ) year totaling 25 (40.3%) respondents. It is recommended for housewives to improve a healthy lifestyle to avoid obesity which can lead to degenerative diseases.

Abstract

Professional Nursing Practice Model (MPKP) is a method of comprehensive nursing care in providing quality nursing care. This study aims to investigate the correlation between the implementation of the professional nursing practice model and the work satisfaction rate of the working nurses at the MPKP room of the Regional Hospital of Lasinrang in Pinrang. The study is analytically observational with a cross-sectional design. The subject (n=124) are practicing nurses in the inpatient ward of Lasinrang Regional Hospital of Pinrang. The sample was selected employing a systematic random sampling technique. The data were obtained with a questionnaire distribution and observation checklist and the data were analyzed with univariate and bivariate measures. The chi-square test proves that the operand (p=0.000), pre-Competence (p=0.000), competence (p=0.000), competence case (p=0.164), and round (p=0.164) on the work satisfaction rate of the working nurses. This implies that there is a significant correlation the operand evaluation, pre-conference, post-conference, and the work satisfaction rate of the working nurses for the value of p<0.05 but no significant correlation between case competency evaluation as well as round and the work satisfaction of the nurses with p>0.05.

Abstract

Nurse workload is all activities carried out by nurses while on duty in a nursing service unit. Working conditions include physical environment variables such as the distribution of working hours, physical conditions in the form of noise, regulations, and demands. Job stress is a condition of tension that causes an imbalance of physical and psychological conditions in employees sourced from individuals and organizations that affect the physical, psychological, behavior of employees. This research method uses analytic research, with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study were nurses on duty in the ICU. The sample in this study amounted to 36 respondents with a sampling technique using the total sampling method. Data is collected by using a questionnaire sheet. Analysis of the data used by using the Chi-Square test. In this study, the results were obtained that the workload was in the bad category of 20 respondents (55.6%) and the working conditions included in the category did not support as many as 22 respondents (61.1%) and the stress level in the moderate category there were 23 respondents (63, 9%). Based on the analysis that has been done using the Chi-Square test, there is a significant relationship between workload with stress levels with a value of P = 0.000 <0.05 and work conditions with nurses' stress levels with a value of P = 0.011 <0.05. There is a relationship between workload and working conditions with the stress level of nurses in the ICU. It is hoped that this research can be used as additional knowledge for the educational institutions of Stikes Panrita Husada Bulukumba.

Abstract

According to World Helth Organization data, there are around 47.5 million people in the world who are affected by severe anxiety, in Indonesia alone there are around 14 million people aged 15 years and over, it is very possible to experience anxiety, overcoming anxiety by drawing activities is the right way to convey what which becomes a burden on the mind that causes anxiety through the process of scratching the image. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of drawing therapy on reducing anxiety in D III midwifery students facing scientific papers at Stikes Panrita Husada Bulukumba 2018. This type of research is quantitative quasi-experimental with pre-test and post-test design methods. This study used a purposive sampling technique with research instruments using the HARS scale. This research was conducted for two meetings within 7 days. The paired T-test results obtained the first meeting = 0.001 (p-value <0.005) and the second meeting the paired T paired value = 0.001 (p-value <0.005). The study concludes that there is an effect of drawing therapy on reducing anxiety in midwifery DIII students facing scientific writing exams at Stikes Panrita Husada Bulukumba 2018.

Abstract

Obesity is a condition in which abnormal fat accumulation or excessive adipose tissue so it can be detrimental to health. Diketahuii LDL cholesterol levels in the obese in District ujung loe Bulukumba. Metode district is the method of fully automatic. Principally cholesterol checked after enzymatic hydrolysis and oxidation. Research shows that the results of the LDL-cholesterol levels in 28 obese people showed normal levels of LDL cholesterol as much as 12 samples, high LDL cholesterol levels limit as much as 13 samples, and high cholesterol levels only 3 samples. Of the 28 serum samples obtained from patients with obesity result of normal LDL cholesterol levels as much as 9 samples, high LDL cholesterol levels limit as much as 17 samples, and high cholesterol levels just two samples. For further research should compare the respondent to maintain a diet and exercise regularly. Regular exercise can help you lose excess weight and regulate eating to avoid the various problems due to being overweight include increased levels of LDL in the blood.

Abstract

A depressive disorder is a serious mental problem characterized by feelings of anxiety and sadness. Depressive disorders have increased from year to year, where the total number of people living with depression in the world is 322 million, this is supported by WHO 2017 data. Generally, someone in a depressed state experiences feelings of sadness, anxiety, or emptiness, and the impact that is caused if depression is not treated immediately, it will have an impact on oneself such as low self-esteem, social isolation, and even suicide attempts. Besides that, it will also have an impact on the people around it. The purpose of this study is to know the description of the level of depression in prisoners in Class II A Penitentiary in Bulukumba Regency in 2020. The research design used in this study is a descriptive research design with a cross-sectional approach. The affordable population in this study were inmates with all cases totaling 194 people with a sample size of 85 respondents. The sampling technique using a systematic random sampling method selects a sample from the population systematically. Data were collected using a questionnaire sheet. Based on the results of the research conducted, it was shown that the frequency distribution of the level of depression of the 85 prisoner respondents experienced mild depression as many as 64 respondents (75.3%) then moderate depression was 14 respondents (16.5%) and 7 respondents (8.2%) were not depressed. In all cases, the depression level of prisoners in class II A prisons in Bulukumba district experienced mild depression. Researchers suggest that further the sample size can be added so that data collection is more accurate and can be linked to other variables that can cause depression
