Abstract

Bicara mengenai wakaf tentu kita sebagai Muslim merujuk sebagaimana apa yang di ajarkan oleh al-Quran dan Sunnah Nabi-Nya. Sejak zaman nabi saw, selain perekonomian Islam juga telah dikenal perekonomian ribawi yang dikawal oleh Kaum Yahudi. Karena itu untuk menutup system ribawi, al-Quran mengajarkan dua cara: Pertama, Jual Beli (Bai’un) dan yang kedua, Sedekah (Shadaqah). Ini artinya kaum muslimin harus berjaya dalam dua hal tersebut, yaitu urusan bisnis dan kedua adalah dermawan, suka bersedekah. Shadaqah ini sendiri macamnya banyak ada zakat (wajib), dan ada infaq (sunnah) seperti wakaf. Wakaf ini adalah ciri khas muslimin, karena itulah kemudian wakaf ini dalam sejarahnya menjadi sumber utama pendanaan peradaban Islam. Namun sayangnya umat Islam hari ini sudah mulai lupa akan peran wakaf yang luar biasa ini, saking lupanya, banyak muslimin hari ini hanya mengenal wakaf itu dalam beberapahal saja seperti wakaf tanah kuburan, membangun mesjid, dan sekolah. Padahal peran wakaf ini jauh lebih hebat dari ketiga hal itu. Wakaf yang dalam sejarahnya mampu menutup pasar ribawi yahudi hanya dalam waktu empat bulan, dan karena peran wakaf pula peradaban islam tumbuh dan bersinar dengan luar biasanya. Karena itu wakaf bukan sekedar bicara bagaimana membantu orang-orang miskin dan anak-anak yatim agar sejahtera, tapi wakaf mampu membiaya peradaban besar selama 13 abad lamanya. Hebatnya, kini kampus-kampus Barat bangkit dengan konsep yang notebena datang dari Islam ini. Mungkin inilah ungkapan yang memang memerlukan penjelasan. Karena itulah artikel ini hadir untuk menyingkapnya, sehingga memberi jawaban secara terang bagaimana sejarah masa lalu mampu diaplikasikan dimasa sekarang, bahkan di Negara non Muslim sekalipun.

Abstract

Abstract This paper explore Islam Nusantara (Islam of the Archipelago) as a regional study aimed to formulate a theory that can seek the type, form, and pattern of Islam in the Indonesian archipelago (Nusantara). The ultimate purpose was to create a unique characteristic of the Indonesian society’s Islamic life.According to Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas, Islam Nusantara is a type of Islam which root came from the Sufism concept of wujūd (Unity of Being). Findings showed that Islam Nusantara in the perspective of Al-Attas has had its own characteristics: the Islam was based on Sufism as it was the original face of the Indonesian society’s Islamic life. Al-Attas argued that Islam Nusantara did not merely come from the thin layer of previous civilizations rather it had brought with its modernization by which it later changed the Indonesian society’s view from the aesthetic and magic to the metaphysical, more rational worldview. In conclusion, it can be understood that IslamNusantara is a Sufism in Islam which based on the real philosophy of Islam.

Abstract

The development of science and technology has led to changes and competition for various circles, organizations, companies, even the world of education. Therefore, Human Resources that is needed today is Human Resources who are able to master the technology quickly, adaptive, and responsive to technological changes. In this condition, personal integrity is increasingly important to win the competition.To respond to the demands and challenges that exist, organizations, corporations and educational institutions must prepare reliable workers in various fields. It is because Human Resources is a resource that is needed by an organization or educational institution, because Human Resources is a source that plays an active role on the way an organization and decision-making process. In the world of education, of course, is the teacher as an educator. Teachers play a major role in the development of education and as the most influential component of the creation of quality educational activities and results. Therefore, teachers need to give education, training, development and experience sufficient to improve their quality, so that they can carry out their duties and responsibilities. Responsibility will be accomplished if supported by ability. The ability to produce achievement and achievement will determine the quality of education. Finally training and development is a basic need that is expected to be influential in improving teacher competence and achievement.

Abstract

Having achieved a series of world prestige, humans are faced with many new problems that are intensely serious. Instead of become settled, the success of reaching the peak of materialistic progress turns out furthering people away from sincerity. In this case, we cannot deny that the western hegemony has had a large role in undermining our eastern values. As the basis of values evolution, education is one of questionable entities related to the merits of a situation or a state. Ironically, the cases emerged these days show that our education is not satisfactory. Therefore, it is time for us to refer to God’s guidance, to return to the concept of rabbani education and to be contended to re-educate the people. It is, of course, for the birth of independent and universal human being, not partial.

Abstract

This paper discusses the issues of mind and revelation that are examined based on the philosophy of Islamic Education. It is examined by running three steps. First, collecting primary and secondary data; second, clarifying all the important elements and analyzing the data; third, presenting the real movement which is the conception of mind and revelation. Based on these stages of work, the writer utilized three methods of study. First, content analysis method to analyze the content of the text; second, descriptive interpretation to interpret books; third, historical and philosophical method, that is reviewing the historical and social context, religion, politics and philosophy. Looking at the epistemological framework coming from the authoritative of mind and revelation and history, either the classic or the modern one optimizes the function of revelation in all aspect of life, either in educational reality or in knowledge of morality, human, and God.

Abstract

This article attempts to research and seek answers to the following problems, How is the understanding of the people of Alue Leuhop and Cot Girek villages towards the Jinayat Law (Qanun Jinayat); How is the existence and implementation of the Jinayat Law (Qanun Jinayat) in the midst of the Alue Leuhop Village Community and Cot Girek Village; What efforts should be made by the Related Parties to improve community understanding and recognition of the Jinayat Law (Qanun Jinayat)?This research concludes, a). Alue leuhop and Cot village communities are enthusiastic, basically there is still very little information about jinayat law so that it is lacking in understanding even the people in general do not get enough informations about jinayat law. b). Law carried out in the midst of the community still revolves around the implementation of local customary law so that the jinayat law is not used by those people. c). Socialization and introduction of jinayat law by the Regency government or related parties (Subdistrict, Sharia Office) is very necessary because the people do not understand the jinayat law because they do not have reading material or knowledge about jinayat law practice.

Abstract

Acehnese scholars produced a lot of work during the periode of 18-19th century AD.The results of their work can still be read and used as a reference to the 21th century, thus it gives an indication that the scholars of Aceh in the past relatively productive in writing. However, in the 20th century, the tradition of writing among dayah scholars is hardly found so that it raises a question related to the involvement of scholars in writing and the competences of dayah scholars in Aceh, particularly in the North East, and South West region of Aceh.This study was performed in a qualitative approach utilizing purposive sampling techninque. The subjects of the study included dayah leaders, head of Islamic scholar assembly, head of Shari'a and dayah empowerment, head of the Office of Religious Affairs, and the administrators of Mubahatsah of dayah scholar in West Aceh district. Data was collected through observation, interviews and document analysis. All information obtained was analysed through reduction step, display, and verification. The study found that the writing competence of the dayah scholars was still relatively 'low' and most of them hardly ever participated in learning and training related to academic writing. Hence, the researchers concluded that the dayah scholars in West Aceh have no competence in writing and it might be argued. In addition, among dayah scholars, there was a perception that the classic holy books (the yellow holy books) was the most perfect and authentic reference which. Therefore, there is no motivation to write or to produce work unless there are few people with self-taught ability to analyze the context of the today’s issues.
