Abstract

Islam consists of faith and Sharia, so that Din there’s have faith and Sharia (Islamic), that is Islam, but if only faith just the same as the teachings of the Prophets before, so that the teaching them insufficient to refered the Islamic Shariah (Islam). Islam is a religion (ad-dîn) has been revealed by Allah swt. to Prophet Muhammad saw. To organize the relationship of man with Allah, by himself and with his fellow. To Religious expression (ad-dîn) has been revealed by Allah swt., all could be accept it, like same is the case with human contact to arrange with Allah, with himself and with his fellow, we have been happy and could be accept it, because it's described the scope of Islam completely. But Religious expression (ad-dîn) has been revealed by Allah swt. to Prophet Muhammad saw., which means that Islam is a religion that was revealed to Prophet Muhammad saw. alone, and not the religion that has been revealed to the Prophets before, perhaps this is what the expressions indeed require an explanation. For to that this article was given to explain it.

Abstract

Parents play an important role in provide education to his son in the family. Parents must pay attention in education particularly education religion to his son according to their parents, although preoccupied with their activities. Parents who he must know the responsibility of very much determines the formation of a couple of families who, and he shall be responsible for what would be its role, then the parents it will lead, educate and grant for the rest of his family in all things. Efforts must be done of parents in education on child by starting teach religious education and guide the implementation of their religious rituals, keep an eye on children and rebuked their behavior when they commit is not a good thing. In terms of material the old man gave his son as any other use send their children and meet immediate needs. Parents must also be able to provide guidance faith, giving exemplary and able to develop growth personality and a sense of responsibility. Consciously parents carrying an obligation to maintain and managing their children to be a useful family.

Abstract

Ibnu Khaldun defined education as a transformation of values obtained from experiences as an effort to defence human existance in various forms of culture and continuously developing civilization. Education is urgently needed by all human to keep developing along with the rapid changes in community life. Changes surely drive toward advancement, yet undeniably, it also affects one’s moral. Moral is the quality in human actions that shows which is right or wrong and which is bad or good. Numerous definition explained that moral is significantly important not only for an individual but also for every nation. Todays’ rapid changes has raised various questions related to moral. Many people feel to lose their hold about good norms. Islamic higher education plays important role in determining the good or bad moral of the young generation of the nation. Islamic higher education as an educational institution aiming to produce virtuous, pious, strong faith as well as technologically literate individuals is responsible to nurture students’ moral since they start studying to the day of their graduation and are returned back to the community. This nurturing process can be performed through various approaches and internalization of Islamic values.

Abstract

Media has a big power to create public opinion about the position of gender. The asymmetry relation between man and woman always showed in the news coverage of media – as particulary in the Sharia news. Including to the Sharia News, woman became the figure which most frequently reported by the media. While the Sharia issues is abused by the media to naturalize the discrimination of woman. Many of Sharia cases in the reality was constructed by the media in such a way, which carried of dominant ideology that opressed the woman. At the last, the woman was muted by the media in Sharia news coverage

Abstract

Humans are creatures that think and feel. Suicide means to enliven the sense relationship between humans and God. For people who have reached the station of pleasure or mahabbah, let alone ma’rifat, then he will not be disturbed by the changes in his life, because the focus is no longer on the changed, but on the one who remains unchanged, namely Allah. Awareness of feeling in touch with God can foster the nature of religious diversity and sharpen bashirah so that someoneis always intrigued to bring themselves (taqarrub) to God. One of the teachings that can draw human beings closer to God, is Sufism. As one of the religious disciplines, Sufism is a field that is considered by some as a discipline in a different region from science in general. Sufism must be achieved with commendable character first, such as emphasizing honesty, humility, not arrogant, friendly, clean hearted, brave and the like, these values that should be owned by a Muslim. In line with that, the purpose of education in the view of Islam has a lot to do with the quality of human beings with virtue.

Abstract

Islamic studies is a learning material that is studied by students of Islamic colleges. It is also one component of general courses that must be taken by all students in all faculties and all majors. It covers a wide range of Islamic sciences, from the one dealing with the law, education, history, thoughts in Islam, even studies about the different kinds of approach in understanding the religion, the source of the teachings, the characteristic of Islamic teachings itself, to the methodology of understanding Islam in a comprehensive manner with diver theories along with model or type of the research. Such approaches include a "normative theological, anthropological, sociological, psychological, historical, cultural, and philosophical approaches"

Abstract

The aim of this research to describe the role and contributions of Prof. Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad ad-Dary on hadith studies in North Sumatera. Applying the qualitative method, this research used primary data sources that were obtained from families (his son and his daughter), students as well as the books written by Prof. Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad ad-Dary. The secondary data were obtained from various literature on the figure of Prof. Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad ad-Dary related to the history of his life. The results of this study can be summaried in following points: Prof. Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad ad-Dary was a figure who was very active on hadith studies in North Sumatera. It can be said the greatest role and contributions of Prof. Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad ad-Dary on Hadith studies in North Sumatera was his attempt to write the books related to the Hadith and Hadith Sciences in North Sumatera. He is the pioneer of writing Hadith and Hadith studies books in this area. This can be seen from the year his book entitled Pokok-Pokok Musthalah Hadis:Untuk PGAN,SMIA dan Jang Sederadjat published by Pustaka Islamiyah, Medan in 1963. This book was the first musthalah hadith book published in North Sumatera. Then Prof. Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad ad-Dary also published books of Hadith and Hadith Science through his publisher, Al-Mahfuzh Budi. Through his publisher, he published and distributed the books of Hadith and Hadith Studies. And the last of his role, Prof. Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad ad-Dary was the first who holds a professor of Hadith in North Sumatera. This he received from President Soeharto dated 18 November 1976.

Abstract

Ulumul Qur'an has been used since the inception of the Qur'an. Along with the process of the Qur'an to perfection, Ulumul Qur'an had also developed along it to these days. Abstract

Land issues are a matter related to basic people's rights so that land is often contested by everyone. The complexity of land disputes is a result of land requirements, disputes can occur vertically, horizontally or vertically-horizontally. Land disputes should not always be resolved through court but they can also be resolved through out-court channels such as customary justice with the aim of avoiding ongoing dispute. Customary courts are given the authority to resolve land boundary disputes with the principle of familial approach. Settlement of land boundaries through customary courts can be done by means of mediation, deliberation and negotiation to obtain a peaceful collective agreement. In the results of the research note that the existence of land boundary disputes successfully resolved peacefully through customary court. The dispute was in Gampong Ujong Lamie and Alue Seupeng of Nagan Raya District. By looking at the settlement process practiced by this customary court, it has been shown that customary judicial institutions have already demonstrated their role and existence in settling land boundary disputes.

Abstract

Demokrasi adalah sebuah system yang saat ini paling banyak di pakai oleh negara-Negara di dunia. Sebagian besar negara-negara di dunia menamakan dirinya negara demokrasi. Bahkan negara yang tidak menjalankan prinsip-prinsip demokrasi pun tidak mau apabila negaranya disebut sebagai negara yang tidak demokratis. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa paham demokrasi sudah menjadi paham yang dianut oleh banyak negara di dunia. Kehidupan yang demokratis seakan-akan menjadi sosok idola dalam masyarakat. Hal ini tidak lain karena memang demokrasi dikenali sebagai sebuah system dari, oleh dan untuk rakyat. Persoalannya kemudian, adakah system demokrasi tersebut mampu menyelesaikan persoalan masyarakat dunia hari ini? Adakah korelasi semakin demokratis sebuah Negara semakin sejahtera rakyatnya? Atau apakah antara konsep dan praktek demokrasi belum sejalan? Karena itulah artikel ini hadir untuk menjelaskannya.
