Abstract

Advertisers constantly try to use different communication channels to approach consumers more effectively and promptly and increase their products' visibility and attractiveness. Gojek, an Indonesian ride-hailing and delivery company, uses hashtags as part of its marketing strategy on social media platforms such as Twitter and Instagram. This research aimed to analyze Gojek's brand perception using the Twitter hashtag. This research uses descriptive analysis and sentiment analysis using Ekman's classification of emotional expression algorithm. This research analyzed 813 tweets containing hashtags related to Gojek, an Indonesian ride-hailing and delivery company, including #AmanBersamaGojek, #Cerdikiawan, #JalanTerus, #PastiAdaJalan, and #SebelumGojek, to understand the sentiment and emotional tone of the tweets. Using Ekman's classification method for identifying and categorizing emotional expressions, the analysis found that the tweets were predominantly positive in sentiment, with surprise and joy being the most frequently expressed emotions. However, the research also identified a range of other emotions expressed in the tweets, including fear, sadness, disgust, and anger, indicating that Twitter users may have more complex and nuanced attitudes toward Gojek and its hashtags. In conclusion, Gojek may consider conducting additional research and implementing strategies to address negative emotions and better engage with its audience on social media to improve its brand perception on Twitter.

Abstract

Parental conflict and divorce trends have been increasing over the years and hinder parents from nurturing their children, particularly fathers. Fathers are more likely to disengage in parenting after a divorce. This may affect children in their romantic relationships in later life. This study aimed to examine the effects of parental conflict and divorce and father parenting practices towards self-efficacy in romantic relationships of young adults male. The study applied quantitative methods with correlational, comparative, and regression analysis. 62 male and single young adults whose parents were divorced before the age of 18 were involved and chosen with purposive sampling. The data was collected by using the children's perception of interparental conflict scale (α=0.92), parental acceptance-rejection questionnaire (α=0.86), and self-efficacy in romantic relationship scale (α=0.89). The results revealed that there is a partial correlation between parental conflict intensity and relationship anxiety and other aspects related to the self-efficacy of young male adults. Paired t-test illustrated differences in self-efficacy in romantic relationships based on individual characteristics and father parenting practices (negative). Regression analysis also demonstrated a significant effect of father parenting practices, both positive and negative, towards self-efficacy in romantic relationships. In conclusion, the efficacy of romantic relationships in early adulthood from divorced families is influenced by negative paternal parenting.

Abstract

The disruption in the concept of marketing communications in the marketing 3.0 era presented several significant changes in the method they interact and communicate with consumers. Marketing 3.0 places greater emphasis on the importance of social, environmental, and sustainability values in marketing communications. Brands must communicate their commitment to these issues and demonstrate concrete actions that support those values. This is important for building consumer trust and meeting their increasingly high expectations in terms of social and environmental responsibility. Marketing 3.0 involves consumers more actively in the process of communication and brand development. Consumers have a more significant role in designing products or services, providing input, and participating in brand initiatives. Brands must open and responsive communication channels to listen to consumers and involve them in the decision-making process. Story-based communication remains an effective approach in marketing 3.0. However, the stories a brand tells must be authentic, relevant and reflect the broader brand values. The story must be able to inspire and move consumers to take positive action and connect emotionally with the brand. Digital technology and social media have a central role in marketing communications in the marketing 3.0 era. Brands should leverage these platforms to reach consumers more effectively, spread their message, and interact with consumers directly. Technology also enables brands to collect and analyze consumer data to personalize communication messages and improve user experience.

Abstract

There are many factors in financial markets that have different levels of understanding and knowledge in managing available information. With this condition, actors/participants, especially investors, will be informed differently, or there will be information asymmetry in the financial market. This study aimed to develop a conceptual framework that investigates and provides a systematic understanding of the relationship between profit quality, voluntary disclosure, and information asymmetry as single and interaction effects. Furthermore, the study explains the role of corporate governance implementation on the quality of earnings and voluntary disclosure. The explanation of the relationship between the variables studied is based on agency theory with a literature review related to earning quality, voluntary disclosure, information asymmetry, and corporate governance. This conceptual framework illustrates the impact of earning quality and voluntary disclosure on information asymmetry and the role of the interaction between earnings quality and voluntary disclosure of information asymmetry. The results of the literature review present five prepositions that can be formulated in hypotheses to be confirmed. In conclusion, this framework allows researchers and practitioners to investigate further the relationship between variables intended in this research model.
