Abstract

Penambahan tangki anti rolling pada kapal kayu tradisional menjadi penting ketika banyak kecelakaan jenis kapal ini diakibatkan stabilitas kapal yang menjadi buruk karena penempatan muatan di atas geladak kapal. Salah satu solusi yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan membuat tangki anti rolling yang diletakkan pada bagian tengah kapal ini. Tangki anti rolling yang digunakan harus kuat dalam menerima beban kerja akibat gaya tekan hidrostatis air yang ada di dalamnya. Kemampuan tangki dalam menerima beban kerja bergantung pada kondisi tangki. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis deformasi yang terjadi akibat perubahan ketebalan tangki bermaterial Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) yang digunakan sebagai tangki anti Rolling. Deformasi mengindikasikan kondisi kemampuan konstruksi tangki dalam menerima beban yang bekerja. Ketebalan tangki Perhitungan dilakukan menggunakan metode Finite Element Analysis (FEA) dengan bantuan software. Ketebalan tangki FRP yang digunakan adalah 5 mm – 12 mm. Berdasarkan variasi ketebalan dinding FRP tangki anti rolling maka nilai deformasi yang diperoleh berturut-turut adalah sebagai berikut, 5 mm deformasi yang terjadi sebesar 0,613 mm, 7,5 mm deformasi yang terjadi sebesar 0,166 mm, 10 mm deformasi yang terjadi sebesar 0,060 mm, 12 mm deformasi yang terjadi sebesar 0,042 mm. Sehingga ketebalan yang terbaik ada di 12 mm dengan deformasi terkecil. Secara teknis hal ini adalah hasil yang terbaik, tetapi secara ekonomis penambahan ketebalan berdampak pada faktor ekonomis dimana semakin tebal material tangki akan menambah volume LWT yang artinya mengurangi daya muat kapal. Harus dipikirkan solusi lain agar penambahan volume material dinding dapat ditekan dengan menggunakan penguat struktur lainnya yang lebih ringan.

Abstract

Luas area hutan sagu di Negeri Ihamahu mencapai 120 Ha yang dimanfaatkan oleh lebih dari 100 kepala keluarga untuk membuka usaha produksi pati sagu basah. Terdapat 34 rumah goti beroperasi secara aktif dengan rata-rata tiap usaha telah berjalan lebih dari 40 tahun. Namun usaha yang dimiliki sulit untuk mengalami perkembangan dalam kurung waktu tersebut. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pengembangan usaha sagu tumang di Negeri Ihamahu melalu identifikasi faktor internal dan eksternal. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, kuisioner, dan studi pustaka. Analisis matriks IFE dan EFE menghasilkan 27 faktor dengan bobot masing-masing 2,525 dan 2,502 sehingga posisi usaha sagu tumang berada pada sel V dengan strategi utama yaitu pertahanan dan pemeliharaan dengan 12 alternatif strategi yang diformulasikan. Pengolahan data dengan metode QSPM diperoleh prioritas strategi pertama adalah alternatif strategi 1 yaitu meningkatkan kualitas dan kealamian produk sagu dengan harga yang tetap terjangkau untuk menarik minat konsumen dengan nilai Total Attractive Score/TAS tertinggi sebesar 4.611.

Abstract

Objek penelitian ini adalah tongkang yang beroperasi di Kalimantan, dengan material muatan adalah batubara. Kekuatan struktur dan besarnya beban merupakan dua faktor penting dalam desain dan pengoperasiannya. Semakin kuat suatu struktur maka semakin aman dari segi persyaratan teknik, namun akan mengurangi beban yang berarti akan menurunkan nilai ekonomisnya. Agar efisiensi kedua faktor diatas dapat tercapai, maka perlu dilakukan rekayasa konstruksi tongkang melalui analisis resonansi getaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah gabungan antara penelitian survei dan pengembangan. Metode pengembangannya dilakukan dengan rekayasa pada void tank dengan menggunakan analisis resonansi getaran untuk menentukan titik kritis dan analisis kekuatan struktur pada area tersebut berdasarkan nilai kekakuan yang dihasilkan. Rekayasa dilakukan dengan penyesuaian jarak dan dimensi tiang penyangga pada void tank, serta tulangan penguat diagonalnya. Jumlah tulangan penguat diagonal berkurang 50% atau bobot berkurang 12,69 ton. Pilar bertambah berat 6,241 ton. Hasil dari rekayasa struktur ini menghasilkan peningkatan kekuatan struktur sebesar 27%, pengurangan lendutan sebesar 45,2% dan beban dapat ditingkatkan hingga 0,42% atau 6,45 ton dari beban awal yang dapat dipikul. Luaran dari penelitian ini adalah desain tongkang yang lebih ringan (biaya produksi lebih murah) sehingga daya dukungnya meningkat yang berarti menguntungkan pemilik kapal namun tetap aman dalam pengoperasiannya.

Abstract

This research aims to find out: (1) What is the description of spare parts availability management, (2) What factors can influence spare parts availability. This research was carried out at one of the car repair shops in the city of Makassar, namely the Mahaputra Alauddin repair shop. This research uses qualitative research methods, with a case study approach. The data collection technique uses in-depth interviews with sources consisting of workshop heads, supervisors, staff, mechanics and consumers. The results of this research reveal 1) a picture of spare parts availability management, namely a) workshop spare parts supplies come from the Mahaputra Alauddin workshop warehouse, Mahaputra Bandang workshop, and the central warehouse on Jl. Ir. Sutami, b) ordering spare parts refers to data on the availability and release of spare parts on the current day, then ordering goods is immediately carried out, c) the application used to order spare parts is the Telegram application, d) if spare parts are needed and not available, then the staff the warehouse will coordinate spare parts orders to the Mahaputra Bandang Workshop; 2) Factors that influence the availability of spare parts include a) the unavailability of all types of spare parts for various vehicle brands, b) lack of staff accuracy in the ordering process.

Abstract

Concentration is essential in order to help to perceive and understand the object that is being focused. If students can concentrate, everything can be recorded properly in the brain's memory. If student concentration experiences obstacles in learning activities, there will be obstacles to achieve goals. This study aims to analyze the influence and relationship between concentration levels when listening to different audio stimuli. The methods that can be used quantitatively to see learning concentration are reaction time and memory recall methods for 30 students. The data obtained are processed using statistical tests, that is the T test and ANOVA test to test the differences in sample means from different variables and draw conclusions by finding different data groups. Based on the results of the T test, giving the three audio stimuli to men did not provide a significant average difference in reaction speed. Meanwhile, for female respondents, only the favorite song stimulus had a significant average difference. There is no significant difference in memory recall ability to audio stimulus. For the male respondents, the instrumental stimulus was the most effective stimulus, while for the female, the favorite song stimulus was the most effective.

Abstract

The fishing operations of ring seine fishing boats in Waai Village, in the waters of Banda, Seram, and Haruku Strait, present promising opportunities with abundant fish stocks. However, the extreme weather conditions in the fishing grounds pose significant challenges to the fishing operations, particularly due to inadequate fishing facilities. The design and construction of the boats play a crucial role in influencing operational characteristics, especially during the processes of setting, pursing, hauling, and while the boats are en route to and from the fishing grounds. This study aims to analyze the design of ring seine boats based at the Fish Landing Base (PPI) in Waai Village, focusing on the main dimensional ratio, hull form coefficient, and static stability of the boats. The primary objective is to improve the efficiency of fishing operations and ensure the safety of fishermen at sea. The method used in this research is a survey method, with a sample of eight ring seine boats. The results of the study show design characteristics with a main dimension ratio of 37.50%, hull form coefficient of 65.62%, and a metacentric height stability value of 25%, which meet the standard design requirements for static stability. However, the rolling period value of 62.50% does not meet the standard, indicating that improvements in boat design are necessary to enhance stability.

Abstract

The adequate parking area, number of rooms available at varying prices with inadequate facilities plus the emergence of new competitors/new hotels with more modern room interior designs with varying prices and better service facilities make Hotel Irene a must can compete in the hotel business. By still using virtual glasses analysis to promote hotel marketing, it has not been able to increase the number of visits/customer service at the Irene hotel. This research aims to analyze the marketing of the Irene Hotel, Amahai subdistrict, Central Maluku district through identifying internal and external factors. The data analysis method used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, questionnaires and literature study. Analysis of the IFE and EFE matrices produces 17 factors with weights of 1.008 and 1.713 respectively so that the current position of developing the marketing strategy for the Irene hotel is in cell IX with the main strategies namely divestment, conglomerate diversification strategy and liquidation strategy. Data processing using SWOT analysis produces 4 alternative strategies that are formulated for developing marketing strategies for the Irene hotel.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the quality of service of Health Center X towards customer satisfaction and analyze the improvement of service quality of Health Center X towards customer satisfaction based on the Servqual method and develop improvements that can be made to improve service quality using the TRIZ method. The results of the analysis showed that there were 19 negative gaps with 5 attributes that had the largest gap values, including the politeness of officers in serving patients, the attention of officers to customer needs, the accuracy of officers in checking patient conditions, officers having enough time for patient consultations, and comfortable and beautiful health center rooms. The focus of improvements to be developed by Health Center X is that officers help customers by directly handling customer requests or solving customer problems, patient examinations are carried out carefully and seriously so that mistakes do not occur, doctors provide more time and attention to patients, even the latest information about the development of the patient's condition must be conveyed directly by the doctor to the patient, even changing the layout of the benches which were initially too close together when sitting and prone to contact with others, replacing facilities that are not suitable for use or repaired and adding entertainment facilities such as TV and adding decorations such as placing plants and flowers in the room.

Abstract

The company's main goal is to achieve maximum profits. To achieve this goal, the company carries out its business operations. Operational processes are carried out by paying attention to productivity levels. Productivity plays an important role for companies in facing intense business competition, so every company is required to improve its performance in order to compete with other competitors. UD. XY is an industry that focuses on the furniture sector and produces household furniture. The problem faced by the company was UD's inability. To evaluate the level of productivity that has been achieved in previous years. This research aims to identify productivity UD. XY and analyze changes in the input used by the company, so that it can determine the input aspects that require improvement to increase productivity. The approach used to analyze productivity levels is through the American Productivity Center (APC) method, which allows comparisons between the value of input issued and the output obtained. The research results show a decline in productivity, where the productivity index was recorded to have fallen by -1.7% in 2022, -3.2% in 2023, and -2.1% in 2023. This decline was caused by the company's internal problems, namely inefficiency in the use of resources which ends in increased production costs. In 2023, even though the output value reached IDR 3,219,000,000, productivity still decreased by -2.0%, so the company experienced a loss in resource utilization which reached IDR 64,380,000 in 2023.

Abstract

IKM S is one of the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the food sector, particularly focusing on the production of soy sauce, chili sauce, and vinegar. One of the challenges faced in its supply chain is the shortage of bottle raw materials from suppliers, resulting in reduced production and a high number of returned products due to expiration. This research aims to identify the risks in the supply chain and determine strategies to address these issues. The research methodology used is quantitative descriptive, employing the Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) method to identify risk events and House Of Risk (HOR) for mitigation strategies. The study's findings indicate 21 risk events and 19 risk agents. In HOR 1, severity levels of risk events, occurrence frequencies of risk agents, and the relationship between risk events and agents were measured, resulting in an Aggregate Risk Potential value. Four risk agents causing issues in operational activities were identified. HOR 2 identified four preventive actions and prioritized mitigation based on the effectiveness versus implementation difficulty ratios of these actions for the company.
