Abstract

Strategic Development of Tasta Zoo Tabanan through the Application of the Business Model Canvas (BMC). This activity was initiated by the problem of suboptimal business development and digital marketing strategies at Tasta Zoo Tabanan, which potentially hindered its competitiveness in Bali's tourism. The method applied was a descriptive qualitative approach with triangulation techniques (observation, interviews, questionnaires), focused on implementing and validating the Business Model Canvas (BMC) framework to map and redesign the destination's business model. The activity resulted in a holistic BMC Version 2, with a core value proposition centered on conservation-based edutainment (education and entertainment) experiences. The partial implementation of BMC-based strategies, particularly in digital marketing and interactive education programs, proved to increase audience engagement on social media (e.g., a 408% increase in TikTok followers), visitor satisfaction, and operational revenue. The activity concludes that the BMC is an effective strategic tool for creating sustainable competitive advantage for educational tourism destinations, with main recommendations focusing on strengthening human resources, deepening partnerships, and technology integration.

Abstract

This community service activity is one of the implementations of the Regular KKN-PMM Period II 2025 activities which were held on July 20 - August 25, 2025 with KKN locations spread across several areas, one of which was in Taman Village, Abiansemal, Badung. The KKN-PMM activity in Taman Village which was attended by 23 students from Warmadewa University found several problems faced, namely community unrest regarding drug problems and the less than optimal use of manure as well as the lack of understanding of the Women Farmers Group regarding effective and environmentally friendly land processing techniques. Therefore, on this occasion, socialization activities were carried out on the dangers of drug abuse to all levels of society, as well as education on land processing and the provision of plant seeds to the Women Farmers Group. The drug socialization aims to increase public awareness of the negative impacts of drugs on health, family, and social life. Meanwhile, agricultural education activities aim to empower Women Farmers Group in supporting food security and family economic independence through simple agricultural practices. Activity methods include counseling, interactive discussions, and direct practice in the field. The results of the activity indicate an increase in community knowledge about the dangers of drugs, as well as growing interest and skills among Women Farmers Group members in agricultural land management. This educational collaboration is expected to be the first step in building a healthy, productive, and independent village.

Abstract

Balinese Hindu culture contains various forms of local wisdom with significant contributions and potential that need to be preserved, one of which is canang. Canang is a form of offering that carries spiritual meaning and aesthetic value in Balinese Hindu religious traditions. However, along with the development of modern technology, the interest and ability of the younger generation in making canang sari has gradually declined. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide training in making canang sari for participants of the Pasraman Kilat program at SMK Bali Dewata. This activity serves as an effort to preserve culture and improve the religious skills of Hindu students. The materials provided include knowledge about the philosophy, materials, and practical techniques for making canang sari. The methods applied in this activity are lectures, demonstrations, and direct practice. The expected outputs of this community service include training on making canang sari and a community service journal article as part of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of higher education. The Pasraman Kilat activity contributes as a medium for strengthening cultural and spiritual values within the Hindu educational environment and supports the preservation of Balinese cultural heritage.

Abstract

In the current digital era, the development of information technology is marked by the rise of smartphones as a digital communication media tool that can be used and its rapid development has an impact on society in supporting business activities, both small and large, in all sectors, especially the agricultural sector. Indonesia is an agricultural country with various agricultural products that are not commensurate with basic needs. Abundant agricultural products are accompanied by low selling prices at the farmer level due to the long distribution chain and farmers' dependence on middlemen. By introducing digital marketing to farmers which can connect farmers directly with consumers, with higher prices of course. The results achieved in the socialization activities regarding digital marketing in an effort to improve the marketing of Subak agricultural products are that Subak blahkiuh farmers understand how to use social media to market their products where after this socialization is carried out the farmers not only sell their products to collectors but can utilize social media. for maximum profit. The aim of socializing digital marketing for farmers is to increase farmers' knowledge about online marketing techniques. So that farmers are not technologically illiterate due to the increasingly advanced development of information technology, apart from that it can also increase the selling value of agricultural products so that it can increase the income of Subak farmers.

Abstract

Community service activities are one of the manifestations of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education), which aim to make a tangible contribution to society. One form of service that is relevant to the local wisdom of the Balinese people is religious and social activities at several temples in East Java. These activities include participations in communal prayers, "ngayah" activities, and education on spiritual and social values for the community. This community service aims to increase spiritual awareness, strengthen social solidarity, and preserve Hindu culture and religious traditions. The method used is a participatory approach that directly involves the community. The results of the activities show an increase in community participation, a growing sense of togetherness, and better understanding of the meaning of religious activities at temples. These activities are expected to become a model for community service based on culture and local wisdom.
