Abstract

Bali is an island rich in cultural and religious art. One of the most famous religious artworks in Bali is the Butterfly Row Dance. Butterfly Row Dance is a sacred dance that is only found in Buleleng Bungkulan village. This study aims to find out in detail how the staging structure, means of staging, history, values and tingkan religiosity of society in the village of Bungkulan. Based on the results of the research, it is known that the Butterfly Dance has several religious aspects such as the purification aspect, the aspect of expression of gratitude, the cultural aspect, the aesthetic aspect of the religious, the sociological aspect, the aspect of pleading fertility. In addition, Butterfly Rice Dance contains the implications of high religious values such as Tri Hita Karana Implication, bhakti attitude implications, sociocultural implications, aesthetic implications, sacred implications, leadership implications, tatwa implications, ethical implications, psychological implications, and the implications of religiosity.

Abstract

Culture and communication are important links to understanding intercultural communication. Cultural resemblance greatly influences the customs, codes, and languages used. Communication and culture reveal individual communication behaviors cared for in a particular culture. Culture is a comprehensive lifestyle while language is a means of communication between members of the public in the form of sound symbols produced by human speech utensils. Through language, humans can adjust to the customs, behavior, public manners and at the same time easily mix themselves with all forms of culture that developed in society.

Abstract

Information and communication technology seems to have become a function of books, teachers and teaching systems that were previously conventional. The conventional learning system at this time makes communication between teachers and students less effective due to the lack of attention of students to the lessons explained by the teacher and students quickly saturated during the lesson. Based on the background of the problem, the researcher formulated a number of problem formulations namely 1) How to build an application that can facilitate students in learning and knowing the weapons of Dewata Nawa Sa??ga at SD Negeri 2 Pererenan, Pererenan, Mengwi, Badung? 2) What is the function of augmented reality weapons of Dewata Nawa Sa??ga as a communication media for Hindu religious education at SD Negeri 2 Pererenan, Pererenan, Mengwi, Badung? 3) How is the impact of augmented reality weapons of Dewata Nawa Sa??ga on learning Hinduism in SD Negeri 2 Pererenan, Pererenan, Mengwi Badung?The theory used in this study is structural-functional theory and persuasive communication theory. This type of analysis is research and development with the types of qualitative and quantitative data as supporters. To determine the informants in the field the author uses purposive sampling technique. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, documentation and library studies.The results of the research obtained were the formation of an Android-based Augmented Reality Dewata Nama Sa??ga application. The function of this application as a learning media are: attention function, affective function, cognitive function, compensatory function, and motivating interests or actions, presenting information, and giving instructions. The impact is increasing student interest in learning, improving student learning outcomes with the percentage of 80.25% for the control class and 82.4% for the experimental class.

Abstract

Living things come from food. Food comes from plants. Plants come from rain. Rain comes from YADnya. Yadnya it is karma. Without plants, all living beings cannot carry on their lives, because the basic ingredients of animal and human food are plants. The existence of plants is yadnya from earth and sky to all living things. The teachings of Hinduism include three frameworks, namely tattwa, etika and upacara. In its implementation implemented Hindus in an integrated and intact. But in reality the more prominent part is the ceremonial part. This is because this part is a form of implementation with all its accessories. The big day is Tumpek wariga, also known as bubuh tump, pengatag tump, steering tump. It falls on the day of Saniscara, Kliwon, Wuku Wariga, or 25 days before Galungan. A series of ceremonies and ngatagin ceremonies were held to worship Bhatara Sangkara, the manifestation of Hyang Widhi, invoking the fertility of plants that are useful for human life. Bentuyung), Lord of Plants Plants that are concrete through treating the trees by offering porridge. In addition, Tumpek wariga is also an initial series in preparation for the Galungan holiday. In addition, the Ngerasakin  Ceremony is a ceremony that aims to express gratitude to Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa with manifestations as Jero Sedahan Abian and Jero Sedahan Sawah for what has been enjoyed so far from the produce of the earth.

Abstract

Intercultural communication aims at forming harmonious life, bringing together two or more people from different cultures to form a new culture. Trust or religion is part of culture. Intercultural communication can basically form a new culture. Mass media plays an important role in people's lives in the process of sending information and reciprocal processes. This paper examines how the intercultural communication process is delivered through Radio media. The process of intercultural communication in the program Sandya Kala Gita is seen as a transactional process that affects the behavior of communicators and communicants intentionally, aware of the behavior to produce messages that are channeled through channels to stimulate or obtain certain attitudes or behaviors. Intercultural communication on the Sandya Kala Gita program shows implications for the strengthening of cognitive communicants, the affective formation of communicators and communicants, and behavioral development for communicators and communicants.

Abstract

Moral and religious values and ethics often provide valuable clues to the protection and preservation of the environment. The communication strategy undertaken by indigenous leaders as a design made to change human behavior on a larger scale through the transfer of new ideas in maintaining the environment based on the philosophy of Tri Hita Karana. Environmental problems are not solved only by scientific technology and methods but also need to be assisted by other forces of religion, beliefs, and ethics of the influence of human attitudes towards nature. Humans as individual and social beings take everything from their environment in an effort to meet their needs. Humans as God's most perfect creatures sometimes feel the most right to master and exploit nature beyond the limits of his needs. This led to a global crisis. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, which is a contextual research that makes man as an instrument and adapted to a reasonable situation in relation to data collection which in general is qualitative. Indigenous peoples of Bali live very dependent on the environment, they live, take care and utilize the environment since the first, even the traditional rituals performed as an expression and form of Praise and Prayer to the Creator is called the Tumpek Bubuh Ceremony. Moral and religious values and ethics often provide valuable clues to the protection and preservation of the environment.

Abstract

Piodalan ageng ritual in Luhur Natar Sari Temple, its implementation is slightly different from the other temples in general in Bali. A long and complex ritual, beginning with ngelawang ritual to three regencies in Bali, melasti, at the time of the peak of the ritual was attended by dozens of barong and thousands of pemedek. The implementation takes a lot of time, energy and not a small amount for the pemedek involved in the piodalan ageng series. This research proposes three problems, namely the ideology of barong meeting ritual, the form of the barong meeting ritual, and the meaning of barong meeting ritual. The problem is examined with eclectic theory, structuration theory, religious theory, and practical theory.The presence of dozens of barong and thousands of pemedek on piodalan ageng in Luhur Natar Sari Temple, motivated by the existence of three ideologies, namely theological ideology, political ideology, and economic ideology. The form of barong meeting ritual in the sublime Luhur Natar Sari Temple is a series of nangiang Tapakan Ida Bhatara Sakti ceremonies, chanting to jaba kuta for 42 days, bhatara tedun kabeh or barong meeting, penganyaran, barong dance, and closing ceremonies. The meaning of barong meeting ritual in Luhur Natar Sari Temple is a recitation in accordance with history, withnessing the people up close, pasupati begging for taksu, pujawali, and meeting in noetic terms.

Abstract

The importance of growing people?s interest the teachings conveyed by instructors to the Banjar Cemenggon community is a big challenge for PNS Hindu Religious Extension. The presence of Hindu Religious Extension is expected to be able to answer all phenomena that occur in the Banjar Cemenggon community. Based on the background above, the problem is: 1) What is the existence of the Hindu Religious Extension in Banjar Cemenggon, 2) What is the strategy of Persuasive Communication of Hindu Religion in Banjar Cemenggon? 3 What is the impact of the Persuasive Communication of Religious Extension in Banjar Cemenggon?The theories used in the research are: 1) Structural Functional Theory, 2) Persuasive Communication Theory, 3) Communication Effect Theory. This study uses qualitative research techniques. The technique of presenting the results of the study is by descriptive technique. This study found 1) The existence of extension agents in Banjar Cemenggon is characterized by providing programs targeting certain groups, namely: BKB (toddler family guidance), BKR (adolescent family guidance), BKL (guidance for elderly families). 2) Persuasive Communication Strategy that is used in three stages, namely the initial stage, namely the approach to the teacher, the implementation phase is characterized by counseling dharma discourse and technical guidance, and the final stage is by evaluation. 3) The impact that occurred on the Banjar Cemenggon community, namely: cognitive impact when the community understood the message conveyed by the instructor, the affective impact was marked by the community's interest in counseling, and the impact of behavior when the community was able to make upakara facilities in accordance with the counselor's appeal.

Abstract

The  tattwa is the absolute truth about the Divinity / Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa. Tattwa is one source of the teachings of Hinduism, therefore it is inseparable from the Vedas. So by having each obtained from the description of Wrhaspati and Tattwa it can be concluded that Wrhaspati Tattwa means the teaching of the truth / essence of Dharma truth from Bhagawan Wraspati. This article aims to examine the ethical values contained in the teachings of Wrhaspati Tattwa. Based on studies that have been carried out it is known that Wrhaspati Tattwa teaches how to achieve deliverance or freedom from worldly ties through Sadanggayoga. The source of this teaching is the result of dialogue between Bhatara Siwa and Bhagawan. Ethics in waraspati tatwa is a teaching that contains samkya and yoga.

Abstract

Before Hinduism entered the archipelago, there were many local beliefs. Some of these types of local beliefs are Animism. Animism is basically a belief in the spirits that inhabit the universe around human habitation, is the oldest religious form. In this paper the author tries to examine the role of religion in cultivating the values of Hindu wisdom from prehistoric times to the development of culture in modern times. After going through an indepth analysis, a conclusion can be drawn about the Ritual Role of Religion in Cultivating Hindu Wisdom Values, namely having a primary role in understanding and implementing the teachings of Hinduism which is based on culture (local wisdom) so that culture and religion synergy in social life society, social religion and social culture.
