Abstract

Today's religious life has entered a period of crisis, where 'loyalty' to religion has begun to lead to an exclusive ideology that can threaten diversity. In addition, religion also began to be used as a 'political weapon' to attack its opponents. This is a big challenge for religious people in social life. The role of religious leaders is highly expected in the effort to restore religion to its 'spirit', as a 'shade' of humanity so that harmony can be realized. The harmony of life is one of the realization of religious teachings to achieve the highest goal of life, namely eternal peace, which in Hindu teachings is called Moksa. There are various concepts offered in an effort to care for harmony in the Hindu view, such as the concept of universal brotherhood (Lokasamgraha), Vasudaiva Kutumbhakam, Tat Tvam Asi, and Tri Hita Karana. In addition, efforts can be made in caring for harmony in life, namely by reducing religious radicalism notions with humanismreligious values. The hope, with the 'enlightenment', religious people can understand the nature of diversity in a plural environment, so that harmony of life will undoubtedly be realized.

If technological advancements are not accompanied by advances in thinking, the existing technological advances are inversely proportional in terms of thinking patterns.

Abstract

The presence of mass media in the current era of globalization is nothing special, various kinds of media appear, grow and develop like mushrooms in the rainy season, especially with the internet that allows connections between individuals in this world. The media enter into people's lives and have an influence on one's beliefs, this is in line with the opinion of Jhon Vivian who said that mass media is a facility that carries messages to the public. A person's religious behavior arises because of an internal urge, which then gets an influence from the environment. In subsequent developments, religious behavior is much influenced by factors of religious experience, personality, psychological elements and others. Human life experiences several phases in the level of development of the religious soul in itself, including the children's phase, the adolescent phase, the adult phase, and the advanced phase. Each phase has its own characteristics and uniqueness. One of the formers of religious character in these phases is the mass media. Mass media in the present era is not only a complement but also a part of life. This media has both positive and negative influences on humans.

Abstract

Banten means for the Hindu people to prostrate themselves to devotion to God Almighty. In this study, the researchers wanted to preserve the special offerings that are digital-based in this era of society 5.0, in which this era has a lot of digital/computerized and automatic technology used by the community. In this era, the community will at least be affected by the pattern and order of life. Autonomy is birth based on wuku and sapta ware. The development of the otonan began to be forgotten, with birthdays based on the birth date. Judging from this guideline, the researcher wants to build a strategy for preserving Banten Otonan and building a digital information system based on a survey of internet and social media usage for more than 50% of Indonesia's population who use it. Therefore the researchers made strategies on social media to provide information on offerings, and a website information system was built as a forum for information to find out the offerings and how to implement them.

Abstract

From the perspective of religion and culture, the phenomena found in the society especially humans’ life are closely related to one another. This phenomenon is sometimes misunderstood by some people who do not understand how to place religious and cultural positions in people's lives. In human life, religion and culture do not stand alone or stand by themselves, both have a very close relationship in their dialectics; aligned to create and then negate each other. Religion is a guideline for human life that is used as a reference in living their life, while culture is a habit or way of human life that is created by humans themselves from the results of creativity, feeling, and intention given by God. Religion and culture influence each other. Religion affects the culture, community groups, and ethnic groups. However, culture tends to be fickle. This relationship has implications for the authenticity of religion, resulting in different interpretations. Religion is an idea that is idolized in every social action so that society is always in balance and order of a stable system and structure. This condition can be expected to give rise to a serene and peaceful social life in which the function of religion becomes important and dominant. In this way, religion in turn truly places itself as a regulator of the traffic of social obligations through its commands and prohibitions, and in it, society cannot refuse it. The point is that in recent times, since the 20th century, religion has become an attractive object for scientists and culture.
