Abstract

In Hindu, someone who is born to coincide with wuku wayang is a child who falls into the category of "cemer", because it has the same birthday as Bhatara Kala. Bhatara Kala will eat every child who has the same birth day as him, so to avoid the pursuit of Bhatara Kala every child is required to carry out the Sapuh Leger Ceremony. This study aims to address several issues including: (1) The procession of the Sapuh Leger Ceremony, (2) Application of the teachings of Manusa Yadnya, (3) the meaning of symbols in the Sapuh Leger Ceremony in the Padang Griya Environment, Padangsambian Village, West Depasar.This type of research is qualitative, with the determination of informants using the purposive sampling method. As well as collecting data using non-participant observation, structured interviews with recording techniques, recording and shooting, and literature study methods. Data analysis conducted in this study used a descriptive qualitative method.The results of the study showed that the procession of the Sapuh Leger Ceremony in the Padang Griya Environment Padangsambian Village, West Denpasar was carried out from morning to noon, starting from offering offerings to Ida Sang Hyang Widhi as a manifestation of Oton God, licking to cleanse themselves in beji and in the Lord Shiva Buddhist temple. The application of the teachings of Manusa Yadnya in the Sapuh Leger Ceremony lies in the procession of the implementation of the Natab Banten Oton procession. Meaning of symbols in the Sapuh Leger Ceremony is found in the Facilities used in the ceremony and staging of the Sapuh Leger Puppet. So that through each symbol used in the ceremony to form a communication to deliver a message so that children born in wuku wayang always find prosperity in their lives.

Abstract

This research was designed qualitatively descriptively because the field phenomenon that wanted to be expressed was in the form of subjective experience and knowledge of the informants, then analyzed to obtain intersubjective conclusions. Aims to identify and interpret field data based on the view of transcendental communication. Postpositivistic paradigm with a phenomenological approach to communication. The material object of the procession is ngereh for the monks in Bali, while the formal object is the application of the concept of transcendental communication. The use of qualitative design means that this research emphasizes more on reality with interactive, plural dimensions, and the existence of an exchange of social experiences that can be interpreted individually. Hinduism (Bali) is a tantrayana religion. All activities of practicing tattwa and morals are in the form of religious events, which use the traditional ritual. One of the religious events, which contain the practice of divinity is the use of statues/pretima in the form of a temple bhatara which is worshiped in temples in Bali and several temples outside Bali. Before becoming a priest, a newly created pretime/barong/rangda, a purification ritual (sacralization) must be carried out to get the panugrahan as a priest's tapakan. This chilling procession for the bhatara's tread is the object of this research, and four important things have been found. First, at each stage of the ritual a transcendental communication event occurs. Second, the transcendental communication component in the context of the ngereh procession at the bhatara's footprint in Bali includes the procession actors (pengereh) and supernatural/supernatural powers (who act as communicators and communicants alternately). Mantras or sehe that are spoken and mudras that are made mystically (act as messages), as a means of upakara as a yantra or communication medium. Third, the context of transcendental communication that can be identified for the tapakan bhatara is: the context of communication when the mangala/stakeholder/sangging performs the prayascita ceremony. when  the mangala/stakeholder/sangging performed the ngatep and mintonin ceremonies, and when the mangala/stakeholders/sangging performed the pasupati and ngereh ceremonies. The four effects of transcendental communication include cognitive experience/knowledge, affective experience/knowledge, and behavioral experience/knowledge

Abstract

The application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly massive in the industries. One of the advantages of implementing AI is operational efficiency, because by using AI that is implemented on computer machines, the use of human as an operator in an industry can be minimized. This certainly affects the operational efficiency of an organization. One form of AI implementation in the industries is the Chatbot program. Chatbot is a virtual program that is able to communicate like a human. In many cases, Chatbot take role in the Front-End section of an organization that functions as a customer relations medium. This paper aims to examine various techniques of developing Chatbot for the past 8 years in the academic research environment. In this paper there are 6 scientific articles reviewed focusing on the their techniques and methods of development. The results obtained show that there has been a shift or development of Chatbot's communication features, from the original symbol-based computer keyboard to audio-based speech recognition. Also, there are variations in the construction of knowledge bases, ranging from AIML to semantic based.

Abstract

Bhagawan Domya’s story is one episode in the Adiparwa text, which tells about the obedience of the three students to a teacher. In this story a teacher tests the devotions and devotion of his students, namely is Arunika, Utamanyu, and Veda. The story is discussed with the discourse theory from Michel Foucault. The data is taken from the Adiparwa book by Zoetmulder, to be precise abaout Bhagawan Dhomya’s story. Data analusis is the process of examining all research data obtained through observation, recording, documents, and so on. The results of this study will be presented using an informal method because the data studied is qualitative data in the from of verval narrative. Foucault’s discourse in the Adiparwa text on Bhagawant Dhomya went testing his three students using the discourse of guru bhakti, then Bhagawan Dhomya can exercise his power over his three students by carrying out “pinariksa” test as a from of his hegemony, as well as the basis for giving his gift of knowledge to his three students.
