Abstract

The writing of this article is done to reveal the tradition of ngayah as a communication forum for Hindu society in the perspective of religious humanist education. The results of this study reveal that the ngayah tradition that is usually carried out by the Hindu community in Bali is governed by customary law, customary law in Bali is a rule that regulates the habits of the Hindu community in Bali. The rules contained in Balinese customary law are based on Hindu religious teachings. The Ngayah tradition is the local wisdom of the Balinese people in which local cultural communication occurs. The community in carrying out this tradition obeys customary laws starting from the discipline of the kulkul voice as a sign of the time to start ngayah to making upakara facilities in accordance with local customs and sincere to follow and undergo any series of ceremonies in the ngayah tradition. Not only obeying customary law but also in the tradition of ngayah as a means of communication for the community to be able to build good communication, get to know each other, build intimacy, learn to socialize, have ethics, be polite in speaking and get to know the character of the community in the neighborhood. The ngayah tradition is an implementation of religious humanist education, in this case humanist education which emphasizes the aspect of individual independence is integrated with religious education in order to build an individual-social life that has independence, but without leaving religious values.

Abstract

PT Triple S is known as sport kit factory in Indonesia, and specialist of soccer ball. PT Triple S has a good product, however the brand itself acknowledged internationally better than domestically. Brand awareness is built through marketing communication. Therefore, this case study inquiry is trying to identify the technique of creating brand awareness with marketing communication strategy by PT Sinjaraga Santika Sport (Triple S) in Indonesia. The goal of this research is to have knowledge of creating brand awareness technique using marketing communication by PT Sinjaraga Santika Sport (Triple S). This study is utilizing qualitative approach, constructivism paradigm and case study as form of study. The Subject were people who is implicated by brand awareness strategy of PT Triple S,  for instance employees and customer of  PT Triple S.The results of this research gave out that marketing communication is being done by PT Triple S in order to create brand awareness in Indonesia. But, the inhibition both internal obstacle (from the company itself) for example uncertainty of human resources’s skill on executing marketing communication strategy and external obstacle (Indonesian consumer stereotype that think import products are better than local product) has created the fact that brand of Triple S is acknowledged better internationally than domestically. As for the closure of this research: marketing communication strategies that successfully creates brand awareness internationally are their ball officially certified by FIFA, they also had an agreement and entered World Cup 1998. Meaanwhile marketing communication is also being donein Indonesia but the obstacles both internal and external  has caused a misfortune for PT Triple S in order to create brand awareness domestically.

Abstract

Piodalan ageng ritual in Luhur Natar Sari Temple, its implementation is slightly different from the other temples in general in Bali. A long and complex ritual, beginning with ngelawang ritual to three regencies in Bali, melasti, at the time of the peak of the ritual was attended by dozens of barong and thousands of pemedek. The implementation takes a lot of time, energy and not a small amount for the pemedek involved in the piodalan ageng series. This research proposes three problems, namely the ideology of barong meeting ritual, the form of the barong meeting ritual, and the meaning of barong meeting ritual. The problem is examined with eclectic theory, structuration theory, religious theory, and practical theory.The presence of dozens of barong and thousands of pemedek on piodalan ageng in Luhur Natar Sari Temple, motivated by the existence of three ideologies, namely theological ideology, political ideology, and economic ideology. The form of barong meeting ritual in the sublime Luhur Natar Sari Temple is a series of nangiang Tapakan Ida Bhatara Sakti ceremonies, chanting to jaba kuta for 42 days, bhatara tedun kabeh or barong meeting, penganyaran, barong dance, and closing ceremonies. The meaning of barong meeting ritual in Luhur Natar Sari Temple is a recitation in accordance with history, withnessing the people up close, pasupati begging for taksu, pujawali, and meeting in noetic terms.

Abstract

The TVRI Bali Public Broadcasting Institution (LPP) as one of the local broadcasting television stations owned by the Government of the Province of Bali, also functions as an extension media by displaying religious broadcasts. One of the religious broadcasts that must be aired on TVRI Bali is Puja Tri Sandhya. Like advertising, the broadcast of Puja Tri Sandhya, which is aired every day, is expected to have an effect, which is to persuade the audience to be able to raise self-awareness to pray. Based on the researcher's personal observation, the phenomenon is that there are still many Hindus who especially in Bali have not been diligent in carrying out the Tri Sandhya Puja three times a day. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of the relationship between the effectiveness of persuasive communication in Tri Sandhya TVRI Bali Broadcasting Ceremony on public interest.The community group that the researchers rated was appropriate to be the target of the study were high school students (SMA) students of SMA Negeri 1 Gianyar, considering they were part of Generation Z who now tend to use gadgets rather than television. This study is looking at the relationship between the variable effectiveness of persuasive communication Tri Puja Sandhya (X) on the variable of student prayer interest (Y).Based on the results of the analysis of the effect of the persuasive communication effectiveness variable in the broadcast of Tri Sandhya (X) Puja on the variable of prayer interest in students of SMA Negeri 1 Gianyar (Y), it can be concluded that the persuasive communication effectiveness variable in the Tri Sandhya (X) Puja broadcast proved to have a significant effect on variable interest in prayer for students of SMA Negeri 1 Gianyar(Y) of 0,889 or as much as 92.1%.

Abstract

Clothing has become an important part of the lifestyle and has become a fashion trend in Balinese society. Clothing is very closely related to the human self, through clothing can reveal many things about the identity of the wearer from the appearance reflected how the social status and personality of the wearer. Currently, the t-shirt is a popular clothing used by people from all walks of life because it is easy to clean and the model remains eternal from time to time. T-shirts have several conveniences, apart from being cheap, comfortable to wear, easy to clean, mobile, functional, and can be used as souvenirs, and so on, this makes business people and politicians realize that t-shirts can be used as a gift. an effective and efficient promotional media, apart from being a means of advertising t-shirts, it is also used as a medium to spread political understanding. Of the several functions possessed by the t-shirt, it is related to the function of the t-shirt as a medium for delivering messages and aspirations. Currently, several types of t-shirts have emerged that carry the aspirations of several groups of people who empathize with the case that befell the drummer for the Superman Is Dead band, I Gede Ari Astina, or who is familiarly called Jerink, later shortened to JRX. Regarding this case, many JRX sympathizers thought that he did not deserve to be punished, without holding mediation to bridge the problem between JRX and IDI Bali which he criticized, but the JRX case went straight to the legal process so that it was considered by some groups of society as an act. silence the aspirations of the small people who try to voice injustice in this country, therefore several individual formation practices have emerged that determine their common social orientation, this community movement group has the same ideology and so that they can act structurally so that it is in line with their ideology. stretcher, then in the process of marking the ideology, several t-shirt designs emerged with the theme “free JRX” with various variants, designs, colors that emerged from several groups that had the same ideology

Abstract

Until now where ever in the world, unity is no show yet it eternal identity, so friction occurs at some countries that marking with various violent among sesame due to self beneficial (excessivenees of ego). This is the “Kali” personality qualification that sink in ocean of sin where it’s not human eternal character that occupaid their selve.                Hanuman who already unity with Rama “Avatar” is eternal association that can be catagorised could reach everything are need (not desire). This would inspire human being of modern time through unity among sesame in which could realized unity in diversity physicaly and non physicaly i.e. Soul. The essiest way to form unity is to lern to implement God principles in all of His creations properly. The value that already inheritance by Indonesian Freedom Country must be understood accordingly in order to own togather in supervicing unity to form  Indonesian character building.                Upanishad teachs that unity is the key of success to reduce the ocean suffer in this live, so if all people want to share in different society they would be have high credit in order to do pray and chanting “Om” (primordial voiceof the God). This tend to insure firm pice and stability in each country follows directions and implementation of basic gathering in unity.The unity of all human being (Hindu, Christiany, Budha, Islam, etc) was said by holy man that they can fill it latter within 25 – 30 years.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research that examines the Social Media Buzzer @Infodenpasar Communication Strategy on Instagram in disseminating information and building public opinion in Denpasar City. This research is very important because in today's digitalization era, the use of information technology is to facilitate the public in all lines of activity and the flow of information dissemination and exchange is very fast which often causes uproar in cyberspace because of the rampant circulation of hoax or fake news, an account is present. @infodenpasar on Instagram as a social media buzzer with 885 thousand followers / followers to become credible and trusted news and information presenter accounts in spreading news and information about Denpasar City. In this study, the focus will be on analyzing three problems, namely: (1) Why do the people of Denpasar City choose social media buzzer @infodenpasar account on Instagram in looking for news and information about the city of Denpasar ?, (2) How is the social media buzzer @infodenpasar communication strategy on Instagram in disseminating information and building public opinion in Denpasar City, (3) What are the implications of social media buzzer @infodenpasar on Instagram in spreading information and building public opinion in Denpasar City?The research method used is a qualitative research method, to achieve the research objectives, relevant and adequate data are required. Researchers as a key instrument, the technique of determining informants using a purposive sampling model, while the data collection techniques used observation, interviews and library studies.The findings of the study include: Reasons for social media users in choosing the @infodenpasar account as a media in searching for news and information about the city of Denpasar, consumer behavior through several stages of the decision making process, namely information search, alternative evaluation, and purchase decisions The communication strategy used by @infodenpasar is by using redundancy techniques, canalizing techniques, informative techniques, and persuasive techniques. Furthermore, the implications for the communication strategy of the Social Media Buzzer @infodenpasar in disseminating information and building public opinion in the city of Denpasar include: Implications for Community Economic Development, Implications for Easing Access to Education, Implications for Forming Ethics and Decency, and Implications for Safety and Smooth Traffic.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe how Sumedang government build Sumedang as the center of Sundanese culture through Place Branding that includes the process of conducting SWOT analysis, Creating Brand Vision, Setting Program Goals and benchmarks, Implementing Brand Vision, and Brand Equity Evaluation. This research uses descriptive research method. Technique of collecting data of in-depth interview, observation and literature study. In this research concludes that: Sumedang government in conducting SWOT analysis there are room for improvement, in creating brand vision SPBS has taken into account the organization culture, identity, and government vision and mission but the brand vision are not articulated enough for the stakeholder as diferent meaning are comprehended, on setting program goals and benchmarks, the program goals are not articulated enough as the goals are to major and have no milestones which relatively easier to achieve, the benchmarks used by the government is also not detail enough which in return couldn’t give the governement best practices ideas for managing SPBS. In implementing brand vision, the government didn’t implement evaluation in order to response the distress in their internal body, on the external campaign program there are much area to be explored such as using PR surrogates as storyteller in telling the brand story and better management in social media., and then minimum qualifications for communcation staff of SPBS has to be made. Lastly, on brand equity evaluation there are room for improvement such as utilizing financial and consumer based evaluation to balance the image and substance of Place Branding.

Abstract

This study aims to explain: (1) the contribution of the headmaster's leadership style based on Catur Naya Sandhi which consists of sama bedha, dana and danda together to the variability level of teacher performance at SMA Negeri 2 Singaraja, (2) the contribution of sama aspect towards the variability level of teacher performance at SMA Negeri 2 Singaraja, (3) the contribution of bedha aspect towards the variability level of teacher performance at SMA Negeri 2 Singaraja, (4) the contribution of dana aspect towards the variability level of teacher performance at SMA Negeri 2 Singaraja and (5) the contribution of danda aspect towards the variability level of teacher performance at SMA Negeri 2 Singaraja. This research as a whole unit uses a quantitative research paradigm. The population and sample in this study were all teachers of SMA Negeri 2 Singaraja as many as 54 people. The applied method was using descriptive research and correlation studies. The results of this study found that (1) there is a contribution to the leadership style of the headmaster based on Catur Naya Sandhi which consists of sama, bedha, dana and danda together and is significant to the performance of teachers at SMA Negeri 2 Singaraja, (2) there is a contribution in the sama aspect which is significant for teacher performance by controlling the aspects of bedha, dana and danda, (3) there is a significant contribution of the bedha aspect to teacher performance by controlling the aspects of sama, dana and danda, (4) there is a contribution from the aspect of dana which shows a significant contribution to teacher performance by controlling the aspects of sama, bedha and danda and (5) there is a significant contribution of danda aspects to teacher performance by controlling the aspects of sama, bedha and dana.

Abstract

Hindu can’t be seprated from ritual including its holy day. In general, the Holy Day was celebrated by most of Hindu people in Bali since 426 AD and continues from one generation to the next. The objective of the Nyepi was to balance bhuana agung and bhuana alit that in human being implemented as power,vois and mind in a certain time needs to be recharged to bring back their power as what they were. In related to Nyepi, Melasti ritual is one of rituals held generaly 3 days before the Nyepi is celebrated where symbols of Gods and Godes of Dalem, Puseh, Desa Tamles are carry to the closet sea  by foot or by car or bus to furefiying. Furthermore, a day before the Nyepi called pengerupukan where ofering (caru) was offered to evels to make them calm.                During the celebration of the Nyepi, Bali fill very quite for 24 hours. It can be understood that during the 24 hours there was no air pulutions due to all of physical activities stop.for 24 hours. This is really a genius action. Where ever, all over the world, one look for it may not find the Nyepi like that, so it is very prestisious in universal live i.e. macro and micro balance. There is no  cresh among sesame or other religions.                At the end of the Nyepi, excactly aday after Nyepi called Ngembak Geni, the Hindu people are not hear yet their voice who act visiting each other as brother and sister to implement results of the Nyepi reflextion in order to start a new live . Actually that time is very good to make relationship between Hindu people and other people eith difference religion or other nations (take and give) as an implementation of a Hindu principle that we are all brother and sister.
