Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of implementing role playing methods in learning mathematics on improving learning outcomes and student activeness in the basic material of simple fractions. This research method uses classroom action research. The data source came from grade III students of SD Inpres I Nambaru, totaling 24 students. Data collection techniques through formative test results. Data analysis was performed using quantitative and qualitative analysis, then consulted with the success criteria to determine student learning completeness. Based on the results of the formative tests from the first and second cycles, it was found that students' learning completeness had increased. From the initial cycle there were only 12 students out of 24 students or 50% who completed, then increased in the first cycle to 17 students from 24 students or 71%, and in the second cycle reached 100% completeness, namely 24 students completed out of 24 students. So that the conclusion obtained from this study is that the application of role playing methods in learning mathematics can improve learning outcomes and student activeness in the basic material of simple fractions

Abstract

Parents' attention, especially in terms of children's education, is needed. Moreover, what must be focused is the attention of parents on learning activities carried out by children daily in their capacity as students and knowledge claimants. The form of parental attention to children's learning can be in the form of providing guidance and advice, supervision of children's learning, providing motivation and appreciation and fulfilling children's learning needs. The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between parental attention and learning motivation of class VIII students of SMPN 6 Praya Timur Lombk Tengah in the academic year 2015/2016. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMPN 6 Praya Timur Lombok Tengah, amounting to 25 students, while the sampling technique used population techniques, namely 25 were all sampled, because they were less than 100.Data collection techniques used questionnaires, documentation, and analysis techniques. data using product moment correlation. The results showed that there was a relationship between parental attention and learning motivation in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 6 Praya Timur Lombok Tengah in the academic year 2015/2016, obtained based on data analysis using the correlation formula, the results obtained were r counted at 9.360, while the value of r table at the 5% significance level with N = 25 it is obtained 0.396. Thus, the calculated r value is greater than the r table value of 9.360> 0.396. The results of the research and data analysis indicate that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. Therefore the results of this study are significant, so it can be concluded that this study is "significant"

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine teacher work motivation and the role of school principals in increasing teacher work motivation at SMPN I Bungku Timur. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method with a phenomenological approach. The subjects in this study were the principal and teachers. Data collection was carried out by participant and non-participant observation, unstructured interviews and documentation. This research data analysis using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the work motivation of teachers at SMPN I Bungku Timur is quite high. This is evidenced by the commitment and loyalty of teachers who work well. This condition can be seen from their activities in carrying out their responsibilities in doing work, the achievements they have achieved, self-development and independence in acting. As for the role of the principal in increasing teacher work motivation, namely: as a work partner, participant, supporter, giving a mandate, making a fun workplace and a role model for teachers of SMPN I Bungku Timur.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Reality Counseling on the Establishment of Independence in Students at SMPN 2 Kuripan. The type of experiment used in this research is Pre-experimental Design (non-design) or impure experiment, and one form of the experiment is the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study were all students of SMPN 2 Kuripan who experienced problems in independence , the sample used was 10 students. In this study, the data collection method used was a questionnaire method as the main method. To analyze data using the t-test formula. The results of the study were: the t value of 4.756 and the t table value at the 5% significance level with N = 10 of 2.262. Thus the t value is greater than the t value in the table (4.756> 2.262) so that it can be concluded "significant". This shows that the null hypothesis () is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. So the conclusion of the analysis in this study is that there is an effect of reality counseling on the formation of independence in students at SMPN 2 Kuripan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the process and student learning outcomes through the implementation of Web-based learning management. This research method using descriptive method. The subjects in this study were 30 students of SMP Negeri 27 Surakarta. Data collection techniques using interviews and observations. While the data analysis technique used quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that at the preliminary study stage, the teacher observed student characteristics and learning conditions to determine appropriate activities. At the implementation stage, the teacher designs the lesson plan, determines learning resources, and carries out Web-based learning activities. At the evaluation stage, the teacher analyzes the increase in student learning outcomes with the impact of Web-based informatics learning outcomes that have been able to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes through STAD type cooperative learning. This research method uses classroom action research. The subjects of this study were 35 students of grade IX.A of SMP Negeri 7 Pujut. This research took place in 2 cycles. Data analysis techniques using quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that an increase in student learning outcomes by 86.9%. This is supported by the results of student and teacher observations that show an increase in both categories. The results of this study conclude that by using the STAD type cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes in the excretion system material.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the competence of teachers of SMK Negeri 4 Gowa in carrying out the learning process in the classroom through a supervision program. This research method uses action research. The subjects of this study were teachers at SMK Negeri 4 Gowa. This research instrument uses observation and documentation. While the data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the competence of teachers at SMK Negeri 4 Gowa in implementing the learning process in the classroom through the supervision program has increased. With an intensive supervision and guidance program, it is proven to be able to improve the professionalism of teachers in classroom learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the quality of teachers through guiding the preparation of classroom action research in MIN 2, Mataram City. This research method uses school action research. This research was carried out by the principal as the main observer as well as a guide in the preparation of Classroom Action Research assisted by an administrative staff as an observer who recorded the results of the actions taken by the researcher. The action in this research was carried out in two cycles consisting of four meetings. The results of this study indicate that before holding the teacher evaluation results are very poor in understanding the material about proposals and reporting on classroom action research, after guidance in the first cycle there was an increase in grades that all teachers received below the standard value to 50% of teachers have obtained a standard value. After guidance in the second cycle, all teachers (100%) have the ability to prepare proposals and report on classroom action research. Thus in this school action research researchers consider to have been completed and have significant results.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the skills of writing persuasive speech texts by using a multimedia-assisted Problem Based learning model for grade 9J students of SMP Negeri 2 Mataram. This research method used classroom action research. Data were obtained by using field notes, observations, tests, and documentation in the form of assignments. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by multimedia can increase the activeness of students in learning to write persuasive speech texts. The increase can be seen from the percentage of activeness of 65.71% in the first cycle to 94.29% in the second cycle. In addition, the multimedia-assisted Problem Based Learning model can improve the skills of writing persuasive speech texts. This can be seen from the writing results of students who achieved the KKM in the first cycle of 74.29%, increasing to 100%.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the effect of the take and give type of cooperative learning model on student achievement in ICT class IX subjects at Janapria Junior High School. This type of research is a pure experiment with a one group pretest – postest design, that is, a research design carried out in one group only without a comparison group. The population in this study were all students of class IX at Janapria Junior High School, amounting to 74 students, while the sample of this study was 25 students of class IXB. The researcher used simple random sampling, which is a lottery system with the intention that each class has the same opportunity to become a member of the sample in this study. The data collection method used in this study was the test method as the main method and the method of documentation and the interview method as a complementary method, while the data analysis used the t-test. The result of this research is 5,759 and after being consulted with t table on d.f 24 with a significance level of 5%, which is 2.064. Based on these results, then tcount> ttable (5.759> 2.064) proves that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted which reads: There is an effect of the take and give type of cooperative learning model on student achievement in classroom ICT subjects. IX at Janapria Junior High School.
