Abstract

This study aimed to determine the extend to which the commitment and contribution of PT. NNT to education circumference area of the mine. The reason of PT. NNT has a CSR program which is based on four pillars, namely in the fields of education, health, economic and environmental.This research is qualitative with descriptive type of research that is supported by quantitative data. The subject of this research is the progrmes CSR of PT. Newmont Nusa Tenggara. Methods of data collection is done by observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. And validity of a survey conducted by the triangulation approach of data source triangulation and triangulation methods. This study uses a model of interactive analysis techniques. Contains a component process analysis data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed as follows. (1) PT. NNT has a strong commitment to education. (2) PT. NNT to implementation the programes of CSR to education such as physical and non-physical. (3) the contribution of PT. NNT tophysical is efective and the contribution non-physical is low.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve mathematics learning outcomes with the subject of calculating the area of a flat shape using a project-based learning model for grade VI students of SD Negeri Pinedapa. This research uses classroom action research which is carried out in 3 cycles. Each cycle is carried out in 4 (four) stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The instruments used in this research were tests, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The research results from each cycle increased. Based on the results of the cycle III test, it was found that the average learning outcome was 80.31 out of 32 students who scored 70-85 there were 21 students, and the range 86-100 had 11 students. The conclusion of this study is that through the use of a project-based learning model it can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes on the subject of calculating the area of a flat shape in class VI SD Negeri Pinedapa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve speaking skills by applying the sociodrama method in Class V SDN 2 Barejulat. This study uses a class action research method consisting of 2 action cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages including planning, implementation, observing the results of actions, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 47 grade V students consisting of 27 male students and 20 female students. Data collection instruments used were tests, observation sheets, and documentation. While the data analysis uses descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that the sociodrama method can improve speaking skills in Class V SDN 2 Barejulat. This increase can be seen from the classical completeness obtained in the first cycle that is equal to 70.21% and the second cycle increased to 93.62%. This increase can also be seen from the observations of teacher activities by 13 with a good category in the first cycle and increased to 18 with a very good category in the second cycle. Whereas student activity in cycle I was 45 with active categories, increasing to 67 with very active categories in cycle II. Based on the results of the analysis of cycle I and II obtained an increase in classical completeness of 32.40%.

Abstract

This study aims to increase students' learning motivation using the Project based learning model in 4th grade of SD Negeri 2 Ngadimulyo. This research is a Classroom Action Research which was carried out in two cycles. Data analysis in this study is guided by quantitative descriptive analysis. Data collection techniques were carried out by questionnaires, observations and documentation. Data analysis in this study used quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate an increase in students' learning motivation from cycle I to cycle II. The results of the first cycle of observations reached the sufficient category, namely 68% and 69% for the results of the questionnaire which were in the sufficient category. In cycle II there was an increase in students' learning motivation with good categories, the average percentage of students' learning motivation scores from both observation sheets and questionnaires were 80% and 81%.

Abstract

The empowerment program is a developing program because it has a positive impact on the community, namely the provision of skills among them is sewing skills, however sewing skills without being supported by the willingness of sufficient capital to support the skills that have been obtained will certainly not have any effect. The provision of capital by the central government and local governments greatly contributes to the smooth implementation of the program. The provision of capital plays a very important role in increasing the learning motivation of students to continue to be active in developing the potential of the students which also has an effect on the effectiveness of the program launched can be used as a measure of the success of an organized program, besides that there are also many other factors that affect the effectiveness of a program. This research was conducted at PKBM Hidayat Jati Bedusi in Ampenan, West Nusa Tenggara Province for 6 months. The research subjects consisted of PKBM managers, community leaders and several residents who were targeted by the women's empowerment program. The evaluation model used is the CIPP model from Stufflebeam which consists of context, input, process, and product. Based on the results of this study, the following results were obtained: In the context element Input, process and product based on the results of data analysis, it can be seen that the effectiveness of the program of providing business capital in PKBM Hidayat Jati Bedus, Dayan Peken Village, Ampenan District is quite effective, this can be seen from the results of the analysis All evaluation components are in the quite effective category which can be seen from the acquisition of an average score of 44.55.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the application of the Discovery Learning model in an effort to improve motivation and learning outcomes of grade VI students of SD Negeri 2 Cakranegara. This research method uses classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle of activities is; planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The final results of the action in the second cycle showed that the observations of teachers at the second meeting obtained an average score (4.57) and the results of observations of the students of the second meeting reached an average score (4.35). While student learning outcomes reach an average value (90.46), meaning that indicators of success (> 4.0) and learning outcomes (> 75.00) have been exceeded. Because the indicators of success have been proven, the research was declared successful and stopped in the second cycle.

Abstract

This research is aimed at finding out whether using Picture Word Inductive Model has positive effect on students’ vocabulary mastery or not. The research was pre-experimental with pre-test post-test design. The population and sample of the study was second grade students of MTs NW Lingsar which consisted of one class (26 students). The instrument that was used objective test (20 items). The score was analyzed by used descriptive and inferential analysis. Descriptive analysis was used to describe mean; mode, median, and standard deviation of group, and inferential analysis was used to describe the value of t-test for comparison between t-table. It was showed that the value of-test = 4.708 was higher than the value of t-table = 1.708. So, using Picture Word Inductive Model has positive effect on students’ vocabulary mastery at MTs NW Lingsar.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability of teachers to organize their classes, improve teacher professionalism in carrying out their main tasks and functions as teaching staff, increase teacher insight and knowledge about teacher competencies and improve the quality of teachers in managing classroom administration through clinical supervision. This research method uses school action research. The subjects in this study were 13 teachers of SD Negeri 42 Ampenan. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research was qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that the ability of teachers to manage classroom administration can be improved by providing clinical supervision.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of success of community education through the “Tibu Bedok” Joint Business Group (KUB) women's empowerment program and to find out what factors influence the success of women's empowerment programs through the “Tibu Bedok” Joint Business Group (KUB). Cemare Hamlet, Sheet Village of West Lombok, 2015. The data analysis technique used in this study was to reduce data, then present the data and draw conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the success of community education through the women's empowerment program based on the “Tibu Bedok” Joint Business Group (KUB) in Cemare Hamlet, Sheet Village, West Lombok is quite successful, it can be seen from the ability of members to meet their daily needs, for shopping and saving for children. schools, for arisan deposits as well as for health purposes and the factors that influence the success of the women's empowerment program through the Joint Business Group (KUB) in Cemare Hamlet, Sheet Village, West Lombok are (a) Environmental factors, (b) Mutual respect between managers and members , (c) Mutual trust between managers and members, and (d) Community participation.
