Abstract

This research is aimed to find out the effect of Simulation Technique towards Students’ Speaking Skill at the second semester students of FPBS IKIP Mataram. The sample of this research is the second semester students of FPBS IKIP Mataram. The sample took by using simple random sampling. As the result of the sampling process, A class as experimental group and B class as control group. The research was quasi experimental with pre-test and post-test design. The technique that was used to analyze the data were descriptive and inferential statistic. The finding of the research shows that mean score of experiment group higher than control group and the score of t-test (2. 90) is higher than tt (2.021) from (df) in degree of significance 0.05%. So, it can be concluded that there are any significance effect of Simulation Technique towards Students’ Speaking Skill at the second semester students of FPBS IKIP Mataram.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student motivation and learning outcomes through the application of inquiry learning models. The research method used was classroom action research that adapted the Kemmis & Mc. Model. Taggart with two cycles. The subjects of this study were students of grade IV SD Negeri 2 Uebone, totaling 28 students. Data collection techniques using tests, observation and documentation. The data validation used source triangulation and method triangulation techniques. The data analysis technique was processed by descriptive analysis. The results of research using the inquiry method showed that the motivation and learning outcomes of students had increased. The increase in student learning motivation from the initial conditions of 30% or 35.71% or 10 students increased to 18 students or 64.29% and reached 100% of the 85% minimum limit that had been determined in the success criteria of the learning improvement process in the second cycle, and the increase in student learning outcomes from the average in the initial conditions of 57.50 increased to 64.64 in the first cycle and at the end of the second cycle increased to 77.86 and the completeness of learning in the initial conditions was 6 students (21.43%), After the improvement was carried out by the application of the inquiry method in the first cycle it increased to 15 students or 53.57% and in the second cycle it increased again to 26 students or 92.86%.

Abstract

Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengatasi permasalahan rendahnya penguasaan konsep mahasiswa pada mata kuliah pengantar teknologi pendidikan dengan menggunakan metode diskusi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian eksperiment dengan pendekatan desain“One Group Pre Test-Post Test Design”. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes sebagai instrumen pokok dan ceklis dokumen sebagai instrumen pelengkap. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis t-test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ditemukan hasil hitung adalah 2,279 dengan t table sebesar 2,045 yang menunjukan (2,279 > 2,045) pada taraf singnifikansi 5%. Berdasarkan hasil hitung diketahui bahwa hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak. Dari hasil perhitungan tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan metode diskusi terhadap penguasaan konsep pada mata kuliah pengantar teknologi pendidikan mahasiswa semester tiga Prodi Teknologi Pendidikan FIP IKIP Mataram

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects in statistics through Google Classroom and WhatsApp media. This research is a classroom action research in which the teacher plays a direct role in the online learning process. The subjects in this study were 32 students of class XII Busana 2 SMK Negeri 3 Baubau and the object of this research was to increase student learning outcomes with Google Classroom and WhatsApp media. The research instrument uses a test (daily test) in the form of an essay. The test is used to find out the results of learning mathematics. Based on the data analysis of students' mathematics learning outcomes in cycle I, there were 23 students who completed (71.88 %) and those who had not completed 9 (28.12 %), while in cycle II who completed it became 27 students (84.38 %) and unfinished 5 students (15.62 %) with an increase in the average value of the cycle I is 73.13 while the average value of the cycle II is 81.56 which has increased significantly, so based on the results of the data analysis obtained it can be concluded that with Google Classroom and WhatsApp media can improve student learning outcomes for class XII Busana 2 SMK Negeri 3 Baubau

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the PAIKEM-based Reading Guide model in an effort to improve the learning activities of Grade VI Students of SD Negeri 27 Ampenan. This research method uses classroom action research conducted in two cycles, each cycle of activities is; planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The final results of the action in the second cycle showed that the results of teacher observation obtained an average score (4.79) and the results of student observations achieved an average score (4.17). While the results of increased student learning motivation is an increase in student learning outcomes reaching an average value (78.77), meaning that the indicators of success (> 70.00) have been exceeded. Because the indicators of success have been proven, this study was declared successful and the study was stopped in the second cycle.

Abstract

This study aims to apply the Modeling The Way strategy to improve speaking skills and learning outcomes in learning Theme 9 for fifth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Candisari. This research is a classroom action research conducted in three cycles. The subjects of this study were the fifth grade teachers and the fifth grade students, totaling 14 people. Collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation. As for the validity of the data using source triangulation and techniques triangulation. The results showed an increase in speaking skills, namely: 1) In the first cycle the first meeting reached 35.71%, 2) the second meeting increased to 42.85%, 3) in the second cycle the first meeting increased to 50%, 4) the second meeting increased to 57.14%, 5) in the third cycle the first meeting increased to 71.42%, 6) the second meeting increased to 85.71%. For learning outcomes also increased, namely: 1) In the first cycle the first meeting reached 35.71%, 2) the second meeting increased to 42.85%, 3) in the second cycle the first meeting increased to 42.85%, 4) the second meeting increased to 42.85% the second meeting increased to 50%, 5) in the third cycle the first meeting increased to 78.57%, 6) the second meeting remained 78.57%. The conclusion of this study is that the Modeling The Way strategy can improve speaking skills and learning outcomes in fifth grade students. SD Negeri 3 Candisari in 2010/2021 academic year.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analize he use of GUI Matlab as a medium for learning physics for students at the SMP/MTs and SMA/SMK/MA levels through literature study. The method used is a literature study and development research with a 4D approach (define, design, develop, and dessimenate), but this research has only reached the development stage. The results obtained are that a physics calculator has been made for GLB and GLBB materials that can be used in calculating questions with the calculation results in accordance with manual calculations. In addition, based on the existing literature, the Matlab GUI can be used as a learning medium for straight motion physics subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the conditions and foster a character of recognition for students of SDS Muhammadiyah 4 Cawang East Jakarta. The research uses the PAR (Participant Action Research) method with validity tests using Pre-Test and Post-Test to foster recognition character for students. Research fosters the character of recognition of learners as subjects by using indicators of self-knowledge, healthy socializing, bullying and gender education then use pre-tests and post tests to determine character growth in learners through these data. The results showed an increase in students regarding the growth of recognition character for strengthening Gender Education and the Principle of non-Discrimination as a form of civil rights in the school environment.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the effect of online-based interactive digital learning media Word Wall on primary school student Pancasila and Citizenship Education learning outcomes. The method in this research used quantitative methods and quasi-experimental models with non-equivalent control group design. The research instrument used was test questions through pre-test and post-test. The data analysis technique used descriptive quantitative. The results of this research indicate that the interactive digital learning media Word Wall has an effect on improving student Pancasila and Citizenship Education learning outcomes as evidenced by statistical data from hypothesis testing using t-test with a significance value of 0.01 <0.05 and value of t-count > t-table which is 5.809 > 2.042. So, it can be said that the use of interactive digital learning media Word Wall in learning can improve the Pancasila and Citizenship Education learning outcomes of elementary school students.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of economic literacy and a hedonistic lifestyle on students' consumption behaviors during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study employed a quantitative strategy and correlation method. Students of the 2018 Economic Education Study Program of UNESA served as the population in this study, with a total sample size of 63 participants drawn via saturation sampling. The research used Likert-scaled questionnaires for data collection. The study used the Statistics Program of Social Science (SPSS) to process the data and analyze multiple literal regressions. The study showed a partial negative effect of economic literacy on consumptive behaviors. The t count (-3.406) > t table (-1.670649) showed a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, so the conclusion of the hypothesis H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted. This research reveals that consumptive behaviors are simultaneously influenced by economic and lifestyle literacy. Thus, students must improve their economic literacy to control their consumption appropriately. That is because the higher the economic literacy possessed, the lower the consumptive behavior of students.
