Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine directly or indirectly the effect of rewards andpunishments and training on employee performance through organizational commitment as anintervening variable at the Bondowoso Regency Environmental and Transportation Agency. Thenumber of samples in this study was 114. The analytical technique used was the StructuralEquation Model (SEM) using WarpPLS 5.0. The results of data analysis show that the variablerewards and punishments have a significant effect on organizational commitment, training has asignificant effect on organizational commitment, rewards and punishments have a significanteffect on employee performance, training has a significant effect on employee performance,organizational commitment has a significant effect on employee performance.Keywords: Rewards and Punishments, Training, Commitment and Performance

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the effects of partially and simultaneouslythe dimensions of service quality consisting of reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathyand physical evidence on community satisfaction in Tlogosari District, Bondowoso Regency.This study uses a survey research form with a questionnaire as a data collection tool which isdistributed to 75 (respondents) communities in Tlogosari District by selecting samples byaccidental sampling. Testing is carried out using validity and reliability tests. Data processingwas analyzed using descriptive statistics with multiple linear regression analysis techniquesusing SPSS 22.0. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that there was a significantinfluence between reliability, responsiveness of empathy and physical evidence on thesatisfaction of the people of Tlogosari District, while guarantee had no significant effect on thesatisfaction of the people of Tlogosari District. Simultaneously all dimensions of service qualityhave a significant effect on community satisfaction in Tlogosari District.Keywords: service quality, community satisfaction, subdistrict

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine directly or indirectly the effect of employeecompetence and work culture on employee performance through work motivation as anintervening variable at the Bondowoso District Office. The number of samples in this study were132 respondents. The analysis technique used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM) usingWarpPLS 5.0. Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic which has impacted all sectors has caused people's purchasing powerto decline. This has an impact on the decline in sales of itinerant vegetable seller in KarangrejoVillage, Sumbersari District, Jember Regency. They do various marketing strategies in an effortto increase sales. This study aims to obtain an overview of the marketing strategies carried out byitinerant vegetable seller to increase sales during the COVID-19 pandemic, and how effectivetheir strategies are in increasing sales. This research is a descriptive qualitative research, and thedata collection technique used is observation and open interviews with itinerant vegetable seller.The result of this research is that itinerant vegetable seller use the marketing mix, namelyproduct, price, place, and promotion as a marketing strategy to increase sales. The fourmarketing mixes are effective in increasing sales by 70% to 80%. And of the four marketingmixes, product is the most effective marketing mix type in increasing sales.Keywords: Sales Strategy, Sales, COVID-19 Pandemic

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the direct or indirect effect of Reward andPunishment and work motivation on employee performance through work discipline as anintervening variable on employees of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office ofBondowoso Regency. The total population of this study was 266 with a sample of 40respondents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The analytical techniqueused is path analysis using SPSS 22.0. The results of data analysis show that the Reward andPunishment variable has a significant effect on work discipline, work motivation has asignificant effect on work discipline, Reward and Punishment has a significant effect onemployee performance, work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance ,work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance.Keywords: Reward And Punishment, Work Motivation, Work Motivation and EmployeePerformance

Abstract

This study aims to see the influence of the variables intellectual intelligence, emotionalintelligence and spiritual intelligence on student achievement in the STIE Mandala ManagementStudy Program, either partially or simultaneously. The population of this study were students ofthe Management Study Program. The research sample was second, fourth, sixth and eighthsemester students. Non-probability sampling method, sampling technique is purposive sampling.The data analysis method used multiple linear regression. The conclusions obtained partiallyintellectual intelligence and emotional intelligence have a significant effect on studentachievement in Management Study Program, while spiritual intelligence has no effect on studentachievement in Management Study Program STIE Mandala. Simultaneously the three of themhave a significant effect on student achievement in the management study program of STIEMandala. The implications that can be formulated are the need to maintain and improve the threeintelligences related to their effect on learning achievement.Keywords: Intellectual Intelligence, Emotional Intelligence, Spiritual Intelligence, LearningAchievement.

Abstract

This research is inspired by the increasing number of creative actions carried out by homebusiness people who have to maintain their business income during the pandemic. Thiscreativity appears, to increase the number of customers in order to increase home businessincome. Finally, some home businesses develop their business by promoting their productsthrough online media, such as social media, collaboration with online distributors, givingdiscount, or promotion through WAG. This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing apromotional mix on increasing the number of customers and home business income during thepandemic. This research applies quantitative research. The respondents are 35 home businessesspread over 3 (three) Regencies. The data collection technique used a questionnaire sent viagoogleform. Data analysis using Path Analysis with SPSS ver. 22.00. The sampling techniqueusing random sampling with exogenous variables is the promotional mix implementation (X);exogenous variable is income (Y); and the intervening variable is the number of customers (Z).The results of the study conclude that (1) the variable of the promotional mix implementationhas a significant effect on increasing the number of customers as evidenced by the value of sig.0.000; and the value of 0.447; (2) the variable number of customers has a significant effect onrevenue as evidenced by the value of sig. 0.000; and the value of 0.545; (3) the implementationvariable of the promotional mix has no significant effect on revenue as evidenced by the valueof sig. 0.433.Keywords: Promotional Mix; Number of customers; Income

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the factors that influence taxpayercompliance in paying motor vehicle tax in Jember. The number of samples used in this studywere 100 respondents with the determination of the sample using accidental sampling method.Data collection using a questionnaire. The data analysis method uses data quality test analysis(validity test, reliability test), classical assumption test (normality test, multicollinearity test,heteroscedasticity test), determination coefficient, multiple regression analysis, t test and f test.The results of this study indicate that only the tax sanction variable has a partial effect, whiletaxpayer awareness, moral obligation, service quality, and tax sanctions have no significanteffect on taxpayer compliance. However, simultaneously it shows that the awareness oftaxpayers, moral obligations, quality of service, tax sanctions, and accountability of publicservices together have an effect on taxpayer compliance .Keywords: taxpayer awareness, moral obligation, service quality, tax sanctions, publicservice accountability, taxpayer compliance

Abstract

One of the functions of higher education is as a medium for transferring knowledge to thecommunity, namely research and community service. Through this program, the authorconducted a research entitled the effect of production and marketing assistance on thedevelopment of micro, small and medium enterprises at UD. Seger Prosperous BanyuwangiRegency. The method used in this research is direct observation to the field. The results of thisstudy, that the influence of production and marketing assistance on the development of micro,small and medium enterprises (UD. Seger Makmur Banyuwangi Regency), there is a significantincrease in the quantity and quality of production with equipment innovation. Meanwhile, interms of marketing, with the planned promotion there is a significant increase in the quantity ofnew customers, wider market coverage and increased revenue.Keywords: Assitance, production, marketing.
