Abstract

Building structure often use concrete as the main structural material, in which the concrete-forming materials such as cement, sand, gravel, water and additives. The aim of study is to investigate the influence of addition of Sika Viscocrete-10 toward concrete compressive strength. Concrete is planned with Water Cement Ratio 0.3. Slump values obtained for normal concrete with maximum aggregate diameter of 25.4 mm is 7.8 cm. The values are in accordance with the slump plan of 7.5 to 10 cm, meanwhile values slump that use Sika Viscocrete-10 as much as 0.5% is 19.5 cm; Sika Viscocrete-10 as much as 1% is 21.9 cm; Sika Viscocrete-10 as much as 1.5% is 23 cm; and Sika Viscocrete-10 as much as 1.8% is 24.7 cm. Based on these test results, the conclusion is addition of Sika Viscocrete-10 is able to enhance the workability value of concrete, so it is easy to work. Concrete mix design using the American Concrete Institute (ACI). Specimens used in this study is a standard concrete cylinder diameter of 150 mm and a height of 300 m, tested after the age of 14 days. Number of test specimens for all treatments is 25 with 5 specimens in each treatment. The average compressive strength of concrete with normal mixture is 295.43 kg/cm2; for concrete with Sika Viscocrete-10 as mush as 0.5% is of 376.50 kg/cm2; Sika Viscocrete-10 as mush as 1% is 452.94 kg/cm2; Sika Viscocrete-10 as mush as 1.5% is 501.63 kg/cm;2 and Sika Viscocrete-10 as mush as 1.8% is 515.78 kg/cm2. Concrete compressive strength greater with increasing percentage of Sika Viscocrete-10.

Abstract

Transport models are crucial in the transportation planning process. Transport model is made by adjusting the needs and availability of data and capability models in representing the real conditions and the future. Transportation models commonly used in transportation planning mechanism is the sequential demand models, which include the trip generation, trip distribution, mode choice, and traffic assignment. This model is suitable to be applied to various situations study areas, especially areas of the city. For intercity regional planning needs, modeling the sequential demand can be simplified into a direct demand model, the record is not much involved in modeling mode. In this study, the authors tried to develop a model of a direct demand models to represent the pattern of movement of people with other modes of road in West Java. The proposed transport model is a function of population, GDP, total number of trip generation traffic zone, the total transportation costs (generalized cost). Model results show the validity of the development of significant and can be used as a travel demand model for transportation planning.

Abstract

Maintenance of disaster evacuation routes is a priority in the field of disaster management to anticipate victims and losses. Supporting factors such as stable road conditions, the presence of security, relatively short distances and roadworthiness are criteria used as conditions for evacuation routes so that road handling needs to be maximized to function optimally. Decision making on road handling for evacuation routes in Langsa City must use a method so that alternative priorities from the disaster evacuation route can be identified. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is one of the decision-making methods that has been widely used in determining the priority of road handling. The purpose of this study is to apply the AHP method as a decision making tool in determining the priority of road sections for evacuation routes for road handling in Langsa City. The stages of the method in this study were carried out by selecting criteria and alternatives that became the basis in determining road handling. The results obtained from this study were priority handling for flood evacuation routes with a weight of 46%, evacuation routes for natural disasters due to tidal waves 27% and other natural disasters by 9%. The results of this study are expected to assist local governments in making policies regarding the priority of handling roads that become disaster evacuation routes

Abstract

This study aims to identify the problem of damage to retaining walls on the banks of the Siak River, Tualang District, Siak District. The implementation of this research uses the method of direct observation in the field and the method of direct interviews with the community around the research location. The results of the data obtained are presented in the form of images of damage to the retaining wall. Conditions of Siak River Displacement, Tualang District, Siak Regency Shows a high level of damage both on the banks of natural rivers and those that have been given cliff protection. Some locations experience abrasion and erosion processes, especially in areas that are still natural. Damage to Siak Riverbanks is caused by natural factors and anthropogenic factors. Natural factors can be strong currents and waves caused by community transportation activities and factories around the Siak River environment. So that it can result in abrasion, damage to ecosystems, and damage to cliff safety buildings. While the Anthropogenic Factor is the behaviour of the community and the factory around Sungai Siak which does not comply with regional regulations and the applicable rules.

Abstract

Construction project organization is a very complex system that is involving many parties. To ensure the organization work properly, therefore a good management system is required. This is important to ensure all individual work in a pleasant working environment. The goal of the system is to avoid friction among people in the project site. Interface management (IM) becomes significant in the project organization. IM is a management system developed thus all the stakeholders in a project or every party in a process can work together, can communicate and be responsible to their works during the implementation process of construction. IM is project manager’s job in management project. This paper will discuss IM definition, interfaces problems and IM procedures that should be implemented in order to achieve project success. The result of this discussion is a project will be efficiently generated if the project manager implements IM from the beginning of the project implementation.

Abstract

Tide phenomenon that often occurs in the coastal areas of Indonesia resulted in flooding, which is called the tidal flood. A tidal flood overflow phenomenon of sea water inland. Often some of the roads located in coastal areas are flooded by tidal flood and often causing some damages to the road. Therefore it is necessary to investigate the effect caused by tidal inundation or water bath for asphalt pavement.This research aims to know the durability performance of asphalt concrete mixtures with marinade modification Marshall. The study was conducted with two standard methods of soaking in tidal water and laboratory. Water Immersion method is made by soaking continuous (continuous) and periodic (intermittent). Soaking the specimen in water tidal variation within 6 hours; 12 hours; 24 hours; 48 hours; and 72 hours. While the periodic immersion done by soaking the specimen for 12 hours, then removed during the next 12 hours during 3-days. To view the durability performance of asphalt concrete mixtures used indicator Index of Retained Stability (IRS), Stability Deformation Index, namely First Durability Index (IDP), and the Second Durability Index (IDK).The results showed that continuous immersion damage effects mix quicker on asphalt mixtures than regular immersion. Tidal water used to soak the asphalt mixture Hot Rolled Sheet-Wearing Course (HRS-WC) either continuous or periodic method, has a greater influence than the use of laboratory water. It is shown by the value of the durability of asphalt mixture soaked-tidal water smaller than water-soaked asphalt mixture laboratory standards.

Abstract

The value of travel time becomes an important part of the gains in the assessment of a transport project in terms of economic considerations. In this research, the calculation of the value of travel time for users of private vehicles in Banda Aceh. Purposes of calculating the value of travel time is to vote as a result of a wasted opportunity when used to produce something as a result of traveling purposes. Of the various methods that can be used to determine the value of travel time method selection transport modes (mode choice approach) with a stated preference survey data is either to be used in determining the value of time based on the use of public transport (labi-labi) as the second choice , but taken one more method is the method of income (income approach) as a comparison. As for the results in this study is the comparison of both methods is the method of choice of transport modes (mode choice approach) and method of income (income approach) to obtain the value of travel time for users of private vehicles in the city of Banda Aceh.

Abstract

The Meulaboh port in West Aceh Regency is one of the ports in the west coast of Aceh Province. Initial operation of this port began in 2016 and currently serves crossing activities with the Meulaboh - Sinabang pass. The Meulaboh port is located in open water facing the Indian Ocean. In extreme conditions, ships often have to delay shipping due to high waves that cause shocks to the ship. Based on these problems, the study will provide an overview of the impact and hydrodynamic response of the Meulaboh port pool area and analyze the impact of wave heights on activities in the port pond based on several Breakwater construction layout scenarios. Alternative handling scenarios are carried out using the Delft3D program. The distribution of wave height at the direction of the wind from the Southwest with Hs = 4.908 m, and Ts = 7.254 seconds which shows the dominant wave from the Southwest restrained by Breakwater and the wave height in front of the port mouth ranges from between 0-1 meters so it is safe against activities cruise.

Abstract

Muara Fajar Urban Village is the location of Final Disposal (TPA) for garbage in Pekanbaru City, which if not get special attention can be turned into a very dangerous slum area. This research aims to produce a direction of arrangement of settlement infrastructure of Muara Fajar Urban Village as one of reference for related parties either Local Government or another private party in trying Pekanbaru free of the slum. The method used in determining the potential of utility development in Muara Fajar Village is by analyzing secondary data and primary data through the use of questionnaires and interviews and field observation. The result of requirement analysis of public service means that the potential of settlement utility development which becomes a priority in Muara Fajar Urban Village is drinking water service, wastewater management, environmental drainage and waste management.

Abstract

The purpose of compilation study  of Jambo Reuhat irrigation area profile was to collect correct and actual data and information as input in planning P3A organizational empowerment/”Keujruen Blang” program to improve the management of participatory irrigation in Jambo Reuhat Irrigation Area based on potential local resources. Jambo Reuhat Irrigation Area is located in the administrative area of East Aceh Regency which includes Idi Rayeuk, Idi Tunong, Darul Ihsan and Banda Alam Sub-districts. The method used was descriptive research which is case study and field study. SWOT analysis was performed to formulate strategy and policy which would be used. This study also distributed questionnaires to 12 (twelve) P3A in Jambo Reuhat Irrigation Area. The socio-economic aspect in Jambo Reuhat Irrigation Area should increase business opportunity for productive economy which could be developed optimally by agricultural intensification, improving technology mastery pre- and post-harvest, agronomy and agricultural business diversification. In organizational aspect, the status of P3A/”Keujruen Blang” should be raised to legal entity and have legality in performing works related to improving the performance of Jambo Reuhat Irrigation Area. In technical aspect, damaged irrigation channels and buildings with decreased functions should be. In agricultural business aspect, mastery and application method of efficient technology in crop processing, crop preparation to post-harvest should be improved. Potential local resource which should be developed was animal farming to support agricultural activities and to be integrated optimally with activities to improve farmers’ economy.
