Abstract

To improve the performance of the pump needs maintenance, system Maintenance is a process carried out to maintain reliability, availability and the ability to maintain equipment or machinery. An effective and efficient maintenance program will support increased production system productivity. But often maintenance programs ignore the actual needs of equipment or machines. To obtain an effective and efficient maintenance program and in accordance with machine requirements, a maintenance center based on reliability, Maintenance Center (RCM) is a risk-based systematic analysis to create an accurate, focused and optimal maintenance method with the aim of achieving optimal reliability. from assets. RCM studies have been carried out on rotary machines, especially pumps, in the oil and gas processing industry. The study was conducted by following the seven steps of RCM, including the determination of the scope of study, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, Logic Tree Analysis and determination of maintenance strategies. Risk analysis based on the risk matrix is arranged through the consensus of all stakeholders. The risk matrix covers occurrences, detection, and the level of risk (severity) in the economic (economy) aspects of health and safety (health & safety), environment (environment). Furthermore, Risk Priority is calculated based on this risk matrix. Number (RPN). Based on the values of RPN and Logic Tree Analysis, a maintenance strategy was prepared for each type of failure mode. This study has also succeeded in establishing a better maintenance strategy for Sump Pit pumps which is then used as the basis for the preparation of a new maintenance program.

Abstract

Perencanaan struktur gedung tahan gempa harus di rencanakan menggunakan metode Sistem Rangka Pemikul Momen, dimana Sistem Rangka Pemikul Momen adalah Sistem rangka ruang dalam dimana komponen-komponen struktur dan join-joinnya menahan gaya-gaya yang bekerja melalui aksi lentur, geser dan aksial. Dengan adanya system ini diharapkan suatu bangunan dapat berperilaku daktail yang nantinya akan mentransfer gaya gempa serta membatasi beban gempa yang bekerja pada struktur. Pada penelitian ini penulis ingin meninjau struktur tulangan gedung baru Universitas Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai dengan menggunakan metode Sistem Rangka Pemikul Momen Menengah dan Sistem Rangka Pemikul Momen Khusus yang dihitung berdasarkan SNI 03–2847–2002 dan SNI 1726–2012. Dari hasil perhitungan struktur bangunan metode SRPMK Beban Gempa yang bekerja pada arah x sebesar 46.993 Kg dan arah y sebesar 70.490 Kg ,sedangkan untuk SRPMM Beban Gempa yang bekerja pada arah-x sebesar 75.189 Kg dan arah-y sebesar 112.783 Kg, sehingga Beban gempa yang bekerja pada struktur bangunan metode SRPMK lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan struktur bangunan metode SRPMM, yakni sebesar 1,6%.

Abstract

The incident on the piston rod that experienced material failure occurred in the avanza 1500cc car. in the use of the car is not yet up to 1 year of use, the car was purchased in October 2015 and in April 2016 has been damaged in the area of the combustion chamber including connecting rod that experienced at the near end of the bing end, caused by many factors, it is necessary to test on the connecting rod to get the cause of the failure that occurred. Analyzes the failure of the connecting rod components by means of hardness testing, metalorgraphy testing and chemical composition testing. connecting rod analyzed is connecting rod car avanza veloz 1500CC. with material from the connecting rod is AISI 4340. from the results of hardness testing obtained an average hardness value of 125.9 VHN. As for the standard of violence on AISI 4340 the minimum value of violence that must be met is 228 VHN. Where the lowest hardness value of the component is 84.7 VHN. In microstructure testing, phases such as ferrite (light-colored), pearlit (dark color) and slightly cementite phase are found. While on testing the chemical composition of carbon (C) element is the lowest element that is equal to 0.23% with composition ratio on AISI 4340 steel with carbon content of 0.38% where viewed from the carbon content, the component belonging to low carbon steel causing failure this is the incompatibility of hardness value, chemical composition with AISI 4340 standard.

Abstract

Workers who work the night shift have a tendency to get stressed and subsequently suffer from fatigue as a clinical symptom. This study aims to formulate an effective strategy of policy to emphasize the reduction in the effect of applying work shifts to the risk of fatigue. Based on the results that the average amount of reactive time for morning shift workers is 0.97 seconds, while for night shift workers is 1.18 seconds. The average amount of blood systole pressure for morning shift workers is 119.22 cm Hg, while for night shift workers is Hg 127.61 cm. The average amount of blood diastole pressure for morning shift workers was 77.44 cm Hg, while for night shift workers it was 82.16 cm Hg. The average heart rate for morning shift workers was 73.93, while for night shift workers it was 76.18. Based on the results of a statistical examination that there is a significant effect on fatigue (p = 0,000), it means that there is a significant relationship between work shifts and stress-causing fatigue (p = 0,000). Therefore, as the proposal of this study and to anticipate the reduction in fatigue, it is important to make improvements and evaluations about the rules of work shifts in a company so that night shift workers can work in safe conditions and rest well after work

Abstract

Terjadinya kerusakan pada bangunan gedung/rumah tinggal membuat bangunan tersebut menjadi kurang nyaman untuk ditempati bahkan mungkin dapat runtuh sehingga menimbulkan korban jiwa, sehingga diperlukan identifikasi kerusakan yang terjadi dan bagaimana upaya untuk menanganinya dengan memperhatikan kaidah-kaidah dalam membangun bangunan tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengambil obyek pada bangunan Perumahan Athaya I dengan mengadakan survai secara langsung (visual inspection). Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis untuk diketahui jenis kerusakan bangunan bangunan gedung sederhana yang terjadi dan upaya penanggulangan dan perbaikannya. Dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa pada bangunan Perumahan Athaya I teridentifikasi ada 9 (sembilan) macam kerusakan yang terjadi, yaitu: Kebocoran pada penutup atap dan karat, pelapukan listplank, cacat kayu (mata kayu) pada kuda-kuda dan gording, pelapukan langit-langit, retak vertikal join kolom dan tembok, retak pada frame jendela dan pintu,retak random pada dinding, kerusakan setempat pada dinding, lantai retak/pecah, dengan penyebab kerusakan yang dominan yaitu oleh faktor alam, faktor pelaksanaan, dan faktor mekanis.

Abstract

PT. Pharos Indonesia is engaged in pharmaceuticals which at once distributes these medicines to certain retailers to be accessible to any community. One branch of PT. Pharos Indonesia, which is located the way of Harapan Raya, Pekanbaru, Riau. This company has distributed to various retailers in the Pekanbaru area. From the results of interviews that have been conducted on several employees, it can be concluded that the company has a problem that is about the distribution of goods that have been circulated to several retailers who have had a long time, so that the salesman feels the effects of fatigue caused by long distances and routes that are not arranged with well.                     Based on the results of data processing with the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) method, the proposed routes for distributing drugs to retailers as initial consumers of PT. Pharos Indonesia starts with distributing medicine  to Alzi Pharmacy - Supermarket AA - Supermarket 462 - Kimia Farma – Medicine Store Adinda - Klinik Aisyiyiah - RSIA Zainab - Drug Store Abel - Tiga Putri Pharmacy - Return to the office.

Abstract

This study discusses the problem of decision making to choose the best employee alternatives. To solve this problem Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process is used, the development of conventional Analytical Hierarchy Process which is designed to deal with problems with more subjective criteria. The choice of the best employees with the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process shows that the subjectivity of the criteria is of greater concern compared to using the conventional Analytical Hierarchy Process.

Abstract

Jalan merupakan prasarana infrastruktur dasar yang dibutuhkan manusia untuk dapat melakukan pergerakan dari suatu lokasi ke lokasi lainnya dalam rangka pemenuhan kebutuhan. Di Indonesia, penyelenggaraan jalan terbagi atas tiga kewenangan yaitu pemerintah pusat yang berwenang dalam penyelenggaraan jalan nasional dan jalan tol, pemerintah daerah provinsi yang berwenang dalam penyelenggaraan jalan provinsi dan pemerintah daerah kabupaten/kota yang berwenang dalam penyelenggaraan jalan kabupaten/kota. Menurut Peraturan Menteri Pekerjaan Umum No: 08/PRT/M/2011 tentang Pembagian Subklasifikasi dan Subkualifikasi Usaha Jasa Konstruksi, Pengawas konstruksi adalah penyedia jasa orang perseorangan atau badan usaha yang dinyatakan ahli yang profesional di bidang pengawasan jasa konstruksi yang mampu melaksanakan pekerjaan pengawasan konstruksi sampai selesai dan diserahterimakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan :1) Mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pengawasan yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja konsultan pengawas; dan 2) Mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh faktor pengawasan terhadap kinerja konsultan pengawas. Metode analisis yang dipergunakan adalah analisa regresi berganda. Jumlah sampel yang ada adalah 33 konsultan pengawas proyek jalan dan jembatan di Provinsi Riau. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah: 1) Keenam aspek tersebut memberikan pengaruh secara umum terhadap peningkatan atau penurunan Kinerja Konsultan Pengawas proyek jalan dan jembatan di Provinsi Riau; Aspek Mutu, Aspek Biaya, Aspek Kualifikasi Personil dan Aspek Pelaporan memberikan pengaruh signifikan secara khusus terhadap peningkatan atau penurunan Kinerja Konsultan Pengawas proyek jalan dan jembatan di Provinsi Riau; dan Aspek Kuantitas dan Aspek Waktu tidak memberikan pengaruh signifikan secara khusus terhadap faktor yang sama; dan 3) Formula dari penelitian ini adalah Y = 0,165 + 2,097X1 + 0,339X2 - 4,217X3 + 0,786X4 + 1,125X5 + 0,859X6. Pimpinan dan pegawai yang ada di Provinsi Riau harus memperhatikan peran penting dari keenam faktor tersebut dan faktor-faktor lainnya terhadap terhadap peningkatan atau penurunan Kinerja Konsultan Pengawas untuk setiap proyek jalan dan jembatan di Provinsi Riau, dalam rangka menjamin pembangunan daerah ke depan.

Abstract

Brick making activities at TB. Sumber Rizki Padang is still done manually using human power and manual equipment. This work is carried out repeatedly which is known can cause injury or spinal disease if the posture at work is not normal. This study aims to analyze the risk of MSD (Musculoskeletal Disorders) and evaluate the work posture of each element of brick making printing work. Based on the results of the NMB (Nordic Body Map) questionnaire distributed to 30 workers, complaints were most often found in the lumbar area ( 90%), back (86.7%), and upper arm (83.3%). Based on the results of calculations using the RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment) method on 7 work postures, it was found that the working posture of mixing material and the process of inserting material into the mold had the largest RULA scores, which were 6 and 4 respectively, which meant that further changes and checks were needed. Improvements to awkward work postures can be done by repairing equipment and workplaces by adjusting to anthropometry from workers.

Abstract

Kondisi jalan yang rusak pada ruas jalan Raya Pekanbaru – Bangkinang (Km 53+130, Km 68+133) yang nampak : patahan halus, kepingan bergelombang dan turunnya permukaan jalan. Semua hal tersebut diakibatkan faktor perlawanan dari pengguna jalan yang dapat mengakibatkan dampak negatif pada pengembangan daerah sekitar. Tulisan ini menjelaskan tentang perencanaan ketebalan lapis permukaan jalan. Proses perencanaan ini menggunakan metode Hot Rolled Overlay Design for Indonesia (HRODI), dimana metode dan garis besar aktivitas perencanaan terdiri dari : pengumpulan data dan analisis data. Hasilnya memperlihatkan bahwa ketebalan lapis permukaan (lapis tambahan) jalan diperoleh hasil yang bervariasi, dimulai dari 3 cm, 7 cm sampai 9 cm adalah campuran HRS (Hot Rolled Sheet) dan ATBL (Asphalt Treated Base Leveling).
