Abstract

Each year more than 300,000 women die from cervical cancer more than half a million women are diagnosed. Every minute, a woman is being ionogized. Cervical cancer is one of the biggest threats to women's health. Method; analytical survey research method with cross sectional approach. The population of this study were all women of childbearing age in the work area , totaling 117 people with a sample size of 54 respondents using proportional stratified random sampling technique. Sempel used the total population technique, namely the entire population of the chi-square statistical test. . Result; results of statistical tests, namely the Chi-square, concluded that there was a relationship between husband's support and IVA examination at PUS (p = 0.006 <α = 0.05),. and (p = 0.624> α 0.05), which means that economic status has no influence on the effect of IVA on EFA. and (p = 0.006 <α 0.05) which means that there is an effect of maternal attitudes with IVA examinations at PUS. Conclusion; There is a relationship between partner support, economic status and maternal attitudes with IVA examination at PUS.

Abstract

One of the goals of patient safety (IPSG) is third goal, which focuses on the safetyof treatment, especially the high-alert medications. Medication errors are the thirdleading cause of death after heart disease and cancer. This incident can bedetrimental to the patient and can endanger patient safety which can be done byhealth workers, especially in giving drugs to patients. For this reason, it isnecessary to know how much the nurses knowledge about this matter. The studywas a descriptive study with a sample of nurses in the inpatient rooms of twohospitals in Pekanbaru. The results shows that 55% and 48% of respondentshave good knowledge of the third goal.

Abstract

AbstractCervical cancer is one of malignant neoplasms and number one cancer killer ofwomen in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to Know the Correlation KnowledgeWomen of Childbearing Age (WCA) With Early Detection of Cervical Cancer inTanah Datar Village Working Area of Puskesmas Pekan Heran Indragiri HuluRegency. The research design used descriptive correlation with approach crosssectional. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling and random samplingwith the number of 227 respondents. The processing data using univariate andbivariate analysis with Chisquare test. The results obtained were the of WCA whohad enough knowledge about cervical cancer as many as 99 respondents(43,6%) and early detection of cervical cancer with method IVA test by WUSmajority did not early detection as much as 174 respondents (76,7%). Chi-Squarestatistical test results obtained that the correlation knowledge with early detectionof cervical cancer is p value 0,00 < 0.05. Conclusion: There is a Correlationbetween Knowledge Women of Childbearing Age (WCA) With Early Detectionof Cervical Cancer in Tanah Datar Village Working Area of Puskesmas PekanHeran Indragiri Hulu Regency.

Abstract

AbstractThis study looked at the teratogenous effects of ethanol extracts ofGynuraprocumbens (Lour.) Merr. on the white mice fetus. Experimental animalsconsisted of 24 mices, 4 male mices and 20 female mices, divided into 4groups, namely the negative control group, ethanol extracts ofGynuraprocumbens (Lour.) Merr. 150 mg/kgBW; 300 mg/kgBW; and 600mg/kgBW. Provision is made from the 6th day until the 15th day ofpregnancy. Laparactomy is carried out on the 18th day of pregnancy. Theparameters observed were body weight of mices, number of fetuses,average fetal weight, and macroscopic observation of the fetus. The resultsshowed that the parent's body weight, number of fetuses, and average fetalweight were significantly different (sig <0.05). Macroscopic observation ofthe fetus obtained slow growth in ethanolic extracts dose of 600 mg/kgBW.This study can be concluded that the ethanol extract ofGynuraprocumbens(Lour.) Merr.has a teratogeniceffect on the fetus of whitemice.

Abstract

AbstractCervical Cancer or Uterine Carcinoma Cervicis, is the most malignant tumor andis most often found in women. Acetic Acid Visual Inspection Examination (IVA) isan examination for cervical cancer examination. Indragiri Hulu Regency is thehighest positive IVA district, at 17.85%, from the number of women aged 30-50years who are positive suffering from cervical cancer. The purpose of this studywas to study the description of the knowledge of women of fertile age (WUS)about the inspection of visual acetate acid inspection (IVA) in Sungai Air PutihVillage, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The research design used descriptive design. Thesampling technique used was purposive sampling and random sampling with atotal of 94 respondents. Data collection techniques by submitting questionnairesto married women of childbearing age (WUS) in Sungai Air Putih Village SungaiLalaPuskesmas Work Area in Indragiri Hulu Regency starting from 2-7 August2018. Requesting research: finding inspection) less 63 WUS (67 %), enough 28WUS (30%), and good 3 WUS (3%).

Abstract

Changes in social trend make many women pursue the career, thus storingbreastmilk cannot be avoided if Hypercholesterolemia is a condition in whichincreased cholesterol levels that exceed normal limits, which have a risk ofdeath of coronary heart disease. Aloe vera is a medicinal plant in Indonesiathat is often used by the community as tradisional medicine. Compoundscontained in Aloe vera namely phytochemicals that contain phenolicscompounds. This study aims to determine the effect of aloe vera boiled waterwith pre and postest research methods. T-tes statiscal results obtained anaverage value of cholesterol level before treatment of 206,34 mg/dL and anaverage after treatment 182,43 mg/dL, meaning that there are differencesin the results of cholesterol levels before and after consuming Aloe veraboiled water. Then it can be concluded that there is a siginicant effect on theprovision of Aloe vera boiled water on the reduction of cholesterol levels inobese respondents level with the p value <0,05.

Abstract

Different levels of knowledge of diabetics will cause different motivations in preventing complications in people with diabetes mellitus. Most sufferers are in the Public Health Center of Pekan Heran, which is 330 patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of knowledge about Diabetes Mellitus with motivation in preventing complications in the Kelurahan Pematang Reba, Public Health Center Pekan Heran, Indragiri Hulu District. The research method is descriptive correlative with cross sectional approach, the sampling technique is total sampling, 70 respondents, by distributing questionnaires. Analysis of the data in this study is univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed that the majority of sufferers' knowledge about diabetes mellitus was good (90%), most patients had strong motivation in preventing complications of diabetes mellitus (94.3%). There is a relationship between knowledge about Diabetes Mellitus with motivation in preventing complications with a p value of 0.02 or <0.05

Abstract

Breast milk (ASI) is the only food that is the best for babies, because it has themost complete nutritionalcomposition for baby’s growth and development.Methode: this research is analytic using cross sectional approach. The samplingtechnique is by simple random sampling. Data analysis was performed using theChi-Square test at a significance level of p<0.05. Result: the study showed thatfrom 68 respondents the majority of knowledge of breastfeeding morthers withexclusive breastfeeding was well-informed 48 people (70.6%) and the ChiSquare statistical test results obtained a P value of <0.05 (P. Value = 0.004).Breastfeeding with exclusive breastfeeding the majority of positive attitude 57people (83.8%) and the Chi-Square statistical test results obtained a value ofP<0.05 (P. Value=0.008). Conclusion: based on the results of the study showeda significant relationship between knowledge (P. Value=0.004) and attitude (P.Value=0.008) towards exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

Anemia in the first trimester of pregnancy can cause abortion, missed abortion and congenital abnormalities, in the second trimester it causes premature labor, antepartum bleeding, impaired fetal growth in utero, asphyxia, LBW, low IQ and even infant death. the research objective was to determine the factors that influence anemia in pregnant women at Ratna Clinic. This research is an analytic survey with a cross sectional research design. The dependent variable used was the incidence of anemia and the independent variables were age, parity, ANC visit, knowledge and opinion. The population of this study were all pregnant women who were in the clinic ratna 123 people. The sample in this study amounted to 55 respondents. The sampling technique uses the Accidental Sampling technique. The results of the study on 55 respondents, most of whom did not experience anemia (normal) as many as 33 respondents (60%) and a small proportion had mild anemia as many as 6 respondents (10.9%). The conclusion from the research results is that there is no relationship between age, parity on anemia in pregnant women at the Kuta Baro Aceh Besar Community Health Center and ANC visits (p-value 0.002), knowledge (p-value 0.001) and income (0.009) on anemia in pregnant women at Ratna's Clinic. After conducting multivariate analysis, it was found that the ANC visit variable had the most influence on the incidence of anemia in pregnant women. The clinic leadership should make a policy and improve the quality of services for pregnant women by implementing and providing information to pregnant women about anemia prevention.

Abstract

Stunting children are the result of chronic nutritional problems as a result of food quality, coupled with morbidity, infectious diseases and environmental problems. This study aims to determine the description of complementary feeding practice for stunting toddlers aged 13-24 months in Cipadang village. This study uses a qualitative approach conducted by conducting in-depth interviews and observations. The informants in this study were the main caregivers of toddlers's mother, family informants and health center nutrition workers. The results of the study showed that the parenting of breastfeeding complementary feeding was still less than the variation, portion and frequency of its giving. Mother or caregivers are encouraged to regularly come to the posyandu and ask cadres or health workers about the provision of good complementary feeding for stunting toddlers, especially in terms of portions, frequency and variation. In addition health workers must always provide assistance to stunting toddlers in order to get the optimal health degree.
