Differences in Viewer Responses of Men and Women to the Story of the Film Kite Drops. This study aims to describe the responses and factors that cause differences in the responses of male and female viewers to the story of the film Layangan Putus. Data collection was carried out using literature study techniques and questionnaires using the response perspective theory of Hans Robert Jauss. The results of the study show that: (1) the responses of men, especially those who already have a partner or wife, describe more of their complaints because their partners or wives become more suspicious; (2) the responses of female viewers, especially those who are not yet married, describe more caution because they are careful in choosing a partner; and (3) the cause of differences in the responses of male and female viewers is that the horizons of expectations that each man and woman have are different, making it possible for the difference in acceptance of the film Layang Disconnect.

Imperative Politeness of Indonesian Language Teachers in Learning in Class X SMA Ta'miriyah Surabaya. This research is qualitative descriptive research that aims to describe the important utterances of SMA Ta'miriyah teachers in Surabaya. The data for this research are the utterances of Indonesian teachers at SMA Ta'miriyah Surabaya, which contain imperative linguistic and pragmatic politeness sentences. The source of the data is the spoken utterances of Indonesian teachers in SMA during the learning process in class. The results of the study show that the imperative politeness of Indonesian language teachers in linguistic imperative politeness is characterized by expressions marking politeness, namely please, try, please, come on, and beg. Imperative pragmatic politeness that appears in this study is divided into two, categories: pragmatic politeness of declarative speech and pragmatic politeness of interrogative speech. Among the declarative utterances are the politeness of orders, prohibitions, and invitations; and interrogative speech as an expression of the pragmatic politeness of prohibitions and orders.

Implementation of Direct Object Media in Poetry Writing Learning. This study aims to determine the implementation of direct media objects in learning to write poetry in class VIII of SMP Islam Al Falah Jambi. The researcher used a qualitative approach, with data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews with class VIII Indonesian teachers, and backups. Data analysis techniques were carried out by collecting, reducing, presenting, and concluding. The results of the research show that the medial implementation of direct objects is carried out effectively. Stages of learning through direct object media, namely the planning stage of preparing direct object media and preparing learning materials. Then comes the implementation stage of learning with medial objects Students directly observe objects outside the classroom and are divided into several groups, Students begin to observe predetermined objects and start writing poetry, and then the results of their writing are collected. Finally, the teacher's evaluation stage assesses the results of the students' poetry.

Netizens Hate Speech on Instagram Account @UK (Uki Kautsar): Forensic Linguistics Study. This study aims to analyze hate speech contained in netizen comments on posts on the @UK Instagram account. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The research data is hate speech in the form of comments by netizens on posts on the @UK Instagram account. The data source for this research is comments from netizens on posts on the @UK Instagram account. The data obtained and analyzed descriptively. Based on the results of data analysis, researchers found hate speech in the form of igniting and appeasing. Hate speech in the form of provocative actions is included in Article 160 of the Criminal Code. Hate speech in the form of hurtful acts can be subject to Article 315 of the Criminal Code. Hate speech is classified as hate speech in the form of abnormalities or disorders.

Writing Through Mind Mapping Retention Technique Innovation. The purpose of this research is to provide a reference for teaching writing literacy, especially writing essays in limited face-to-face learning. This research is experimental, with a research design including a pretest, treatment, and posttest. The sample for this study consisted of students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program FKIP Muhammadiyah University of Lampung, consisting of as many as 28 students in one class. Research data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results of this study indicate that the posttest results have increased, so that the Mind Mapping Retention technique can be used in learning to write essays.

Application of Modeling Techniques in Learning to Write Short Stories. This study aims to describe the learning outcomes of students in class XI IPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Takalar. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The research was conducted for two cycles. In cycle 1, the results of observations of teacher activity were in the good category, and student learning activities were in the inactive category. They experienced an increase in cycle II, the results of observations of teacher activity were in the very good category and student activity was in the active category. While the results of writing short stories in cycle I, showed that 15 or 44% of students achieved KKM scores, as many as 19 or 56% of students had not reached KKM scores. Student learning outcomes increased in cycle II by 31 or 91% of students who achieved KKM scores. Based on this, it can be concluded that modeling techniques can improve learning outcomes for short stories.

Sentence Form Representation in Speech of 4-Year-Old. Children This research aims to describe interrogative, declarative, and imperative sentence forms in 4 year-old children using descriptive research. The subject in this study was a 4-year-old boy named Ahmad Fauzan, called Fauzan. Fauzan was born in Bila Village, Amali District, Bone Regency. The method of data collection is done by recording, observing, and taking notes. The data analysis stage in this study went through three stages: (1) reduction, (2) presentation, and (3) drawing conclusions. The results of his research found 2 interrogative sentences, 5 declarative sentences, and 4 imperative sentences.

Illocutional Actions in Mata Najwa Talkshow on Youtube Social Media, July–September 2022 Edition. A speech act is a speech behavior that will affect the effectiveness of communication. The purpose of this study was to describe the illocutionary speech acts contained in the video talkshow Mata Najwa on the July–September 2022 edition of YouTube social media. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with content analysis. The source of the data used in this study was the video talk show Mata Najwa on the social media site Youtube. The data for this study is in the form of illocutionary speech acts contained in the video talk show using Austin's theory. The results of the data found were 3 assertive speech acts, 9 directive speech acts, 2 declarative speech acts, 3 commissive speech acts, and 7 expressive speech acts. The results of this study can be used as a medium for learning to speak Indonesian. For example, in story reading material as well as news reading material.

Implementation of the Drill Method in Learning Information Text Comprehension: A Case Study of Students at SMP Ma'arif 5 Pucuk, Lamongan Regency. This study aims to determine the implementation of the use of the drill method as a support for learning reading comprehension of information texts for class VIII students of SMP Ma'arif 5 Pucuk Lamongan. This research is a case study. The research instruments are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the use of the drill method had an effect on increasing students' grades on informational text reading material. These results can be seen from the students' assessment scores on literacy skills, which show the lowest proportion of students' scores at as much as 7.6%, while the highest proportion of students' scores is 92.3%.

Structural Analysis of the Short Story of Wa Kānat Ad-Dunyā in the Anthology of the Short Story of Arinillāh by Taufiq El-Hakim. The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) intrinsic elements, (2) the relationship between elements, and (3) educational values in the short story wa kānat ad-dunyaā by Taufiq El-Hakim. This research is literary research with a text translation approach and structural theory. The data in the form of a short story "Wa Kānat Ad-Dunyā" was translated into Indonesian. After that, the data is collected based on facts and interpreted based on the structural principles of the story. Based on the research conducted, it means that the short story wa kānat ad-dunya by Taufiq El-Hakim has complete intrinsic elements from story facts, themes, and literary means. As well as the existence of relationships between elements that are mutually influencing so that they become one unified whole. In addition, there are educational values both in terms of religious values, moral values, social values, and aesthetic values.
