Abstract

The implementation of health services is very important in supporting public health. Treatment with traditional approaches as part of current efforts is often found in Indonesia as part of alternative or complementary health therapies along with conventional health services that can be directed to create a holistic or holistic healthy society. Health is meant to be physically, psychologically, mentally and spiritually healthy. In its application, traditional health has developed into Empirical Traditional Health Services, whose benefits and safety are empirically proven; and Complementary Traditional Health Services, whose benefits and safety are scientifically proven and utilize biomedical science. Based on the method of treatment, Complementary Empirical Traditional Health Services and Traditional Health Services are divided into services that use skills and services that use ingredients or herbs. The traditional approach to treatment is more holistic (whole), while the treatment approach is symptomatic (therapeutic focus is on the symptoms caused). Meanwhile, the implementation process and regulations related to traditional medicine in Indonesia are currently regulated in the Act, the Minister of Health, and the Governor's Regulation.

Abstract

The complexity of modern life leads humans to adapt to create a healthy life behind the hustle and bustle of the world. Globalization and various advanced technologies require humans to be able to adapt to existing technology. The existence of competition from various sectors and the inability of humans to control themselves are the main causes of mental disorders which ultimately affect physical health. Mental disorder is a disease that can hinder a person's success in achieving his goals. If the symptoms of mental disorders such as stress, anxiety, etc. continue to be ignored, it will result in the emergence of chronic mental disorders. Humans try to prevent and treat symptoms and mental illness by utilizing pharmacological drugs that are instant healing, but if consumed in the long term it can have negative effects on body health. The alternative given by ancient ayurvedic medicine in dealing with mental disorders is the Shirodhara terapi. This terapi is believed to be able to provide a sensation of calm to the patient, reduce stress, anxiety and various health problems related to mental disorders. The use of warm herbal oil in this terapi may have no side effects.

Abstract

The long history of yoga has given birth to a number of important texts that became the source of learning Yoga, at a certain time. Yoga, whose origins are derived from the Rigveda, is a mindful practice of living in which physical and mental training has evolved to become the dominant physical training method in the modern age. A number of classical yoga texts such as Yoga Vasista, Yoga Sutras Patañjali, Goraksasatakam, Gheranda Samhita, Siva Samhita and Hatha Yoga Pradipika have influenced the knowledge and practice of yoga in Bali from the fourth to sixth centuries, before yoga's popularity continued to decline during the colonial period. Yoga is not a new product that has entered the modern era, after the formation of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, but Bali has become a conservationist for the world's yoga baboons. The ancient yoga training center is located on Mount Watukaru, so the yoga tradition is called Ancient Balinese Yoga, the Watukaru Tradition. Although there is no specific mention of the name of the text, a number of the same terminology at the relatively the same era is evidence that the influence of classical yoga texts has reached Bali at that time.

Abstract

Religion is a means for humans to connect with God, this relationship is full of mysticism, both introversive mysticism and extraversive mysticism. The Panugrahan Dalem text is one of the literary texts that contains the teachings of extraversive mysticism, namely the teachings of mysticism "outside" from within which refers to the forces of the universe and so on. The method used in this study uses a qualitative method with a literature study. The implementation of extraversive mysticism in the Panugrahan Dalem text lies in the worship of Sang Hyang Pancamahabhuta which consists of Yeh Nyom or Sang Bhuta Agasati, Getih or Sang Bhuta Mrajapati, placenta or Sang Bhuta Banaspati and Lamad or Vernix Caseosa or Sang Bhuta Banaspatiraja which is related to Kanda Pat teachings through chanting of mantras, the use of both the Wianjana script and the Modre script as well as the use and giving of offerings that function to increase magic and kawisesan. There is also the concept of mantras and scripts that are present as a means for treatment or Usada as the implementation of the Extraversive mysticism teachings.

Abstract

Students who are still teenagers are a transitional period from children to adults, where in this phase they are adolescents with very high egos and can affect how they see the world. But this is also a concern in itself, where some of them are too closed themselves and lack self-confidence.
