Abstract

The MBKM policy, based on regulations from the Directorate General of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia in 2020, is a form of giving autonomous freedom for educational institutions, independence from complicated bureaucracy and also freedom for students to choose their desired program they have wanted to choose. Regarding implementing the MBKM program, the Chinese Language Education Study Program FBS UNNES still encounters many obstacles. (1) Curriculum similarity between study programs or universities. In addition, (2) educational information systems between universities are different and sometimes do not support students and lecturers outside the university. (3) Regarding the partnership, the Chinese Language Education Study Program FBS UNNES has partnered with several universities but has not partnered with more parties. This study aims to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges. This qualitative research utilizes a phenomenological research design. Phenomenology in this study refers to the SWOT analysis. The results of the study resulted in 4 SWOT strategies, namely (1) Strengths and Opportunities, (2) Weaknesses and Challenges, (3) Strengths and Challenges, (4) Weaknesses and Opportunities. The most critical strategy that must be carried out is to create a communicative, effective and transparent network system, open a more comprehensive network of relations, provide more opportunities for students and lecturers, and disseminate information about the implementation of MBKM informative and compelling.

Abstract

Knowing the punctuation marks in Chinese and Indonesian is very important. Therefore, in order to avoid mistakes or inaccuracies in the use of punctuation marks, this research was conducted to clearly describe the similarities and differences in the use of punctuation marks in Mandarin and Indonesian.This study is a descriptive qualitative research using the literature method and the contrastive analysis method. The results show that of the 12 punctuation marks in this study, there are 7 punctuation marks that have the same form and use, 3 punctuation marks that have different forms with the same use, and there are 2 punctuation marks in Mandarin that are not found in Indonesian.

Abstract

Indonesia and China are countries that are now increasingly opening up opportunities for cooperation in various sectors. This has made many people and entrepreneurs take advantage of this opportunity to get involved in it. This can be seen from the surge of immigrants from China to Indonesia, Indonesia to China, bringing their own provisions and goals. However, because different countries and different cultures can trigger cultural conflicts, as a result, this creates a need for both countries to have cultures with each other. Therefore this article focuses on culture, it shows the culture of marriage from one of the ethnicities of the two countries, the Bugis and Han ethnicities. In addition, this research allows people to gain insight into differences and similarities in ethics, traditions and cultural values and kinship between cultures. Applying comparative methods, literature surveys and secondary data analysis to show the similarities and differences in the marriage culture of the Bugis and the Han people, by reviewing the marriage traditions and the meaning of marriage of the two ethnicities. This research reveals that traditional culture plays a major role in every marriage culture, history, to religion.

Abstract

The course is a course that aims to increase knowledge about tourist attractions in China. Learning activities for the course use learning media such as powerpoint presentations and textbook summaries, it is known that this does not attract students interest in learning. Based on this, the researcher decided to develop learning media, especially monopoly game learning media in the course so that it attracts more students' interest in learning activities. The aims of this study were (1) to describe the needs of lecturers and students for Monopoly game learning media in the course of the Chinese Language Education Study Program, Semarang State University. (2) Describe the procedure for developing Monopoly game media in the course, Mandarin Language Education Study Program, Semarang State University. (3) Describe the results of expert validation of the Monopoly game media in the course of the Chinese Language Education Study Program, Semarang State University. The research method used is the R and D (Research and Development) research method, namely through 5 stages: (1) Potential Problems, (2) Data Collection, (3) Product Design, (4) Design Validation (5) Design Revision. The results of the validation by material experts showed that the monopoly game learning media in the course of the Semarang State University Mandarin Education Study Program received an overall average score of 86.9, which means that the media is very suitable for use in learning. The results of validation by media experts showed that the monopoly game learning media in the course of the Semarang State University Mandarin Education Study Program received a score of 85.1, which means that the media is suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

By promoting fun and exciting learning, researchers develop a product that can be used in the teaching and learning process with a view to increasing the learning motivation of all students in learning and assisting eduacators in making it easier for an educator to deliver lessons. The purpose of this study is  1) to describe the result of the analysis of the needs of students and teacher on the development of car racing game media in Mandarin class in X class at Pangudi Luhur Don Bosko high school 2) to describe the prototype of the development of car racing game media in X class at Pangudi Luhur Don Bosko high school 3) to describe the result of expert validation on the development of car racing game media in X class at Pangudi Luhur Don Bosko high school developed by researchers.   The study uses research and development methods with five stages, namely 1. Potential problems, 2. Data collection, 3. Product design, 4. Product validation, 5. Product revision.  From the results of the analysis of interviews with subject teachers and analysis of needs questionnaires  student agree with development of  game- based learning media that are creative, effective and fun.  The validation result show that the car racing game-based learning media gets an average score of 87 from media expert and 87,5 from material expert, both of which show a score of 4 which means the media is very feasible to use. The media is then corrected according to suggestions and input from expert.
