Abstract

AbstrakSaat ini lulusan Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin Universitas Negeri Semarang tidakmengalami kesulitan mencari pekerjaan karena banyaknya perusahaan yang membutuhkanlulusan yang mempunyai ketrampilan berbahasa Mandarin. Namun tidak semua mahasiswaketika akan memasuki dunia kerja telah siap dengan segala persyaratan dan tantangan dalammencari pekerjaan. Dengan adanya kebijakan kurikulum MBKM yang baru ini makamahasiswa mulai dipersiapkan untuk bisa terjun ke dunia kerja bahkan sebelum lulus.Berdasarkan IKU pertama yaitu kualitas lulusan yang diukur dengan lulusan mendapatpekerjaan yang layak, maka prodi harus mempersiapkan capaian pembelajaran lulusan untukmeningkatkan kualitas calon lulusan yang diharapkan di dunia industri. Tujuan penelitian iniadalah mendeskripsikan kebutuhan lulusan mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa MandarinUNNES terhadap dunia Industri berdasarkan CPL Sikap, Pengetahuan, Ketrampilan Umumdan Khusus. Jenis penelitian yang akan digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber datadari alumni, pelaku dunia industri dan info lowongan kerja. Hasil diperoleh dari olah datajawaban kuisioner pada alumni yang bekerja di dunia industri, pelaku dunia industri daninformasi lowongan kerja di Jobstreet.com. Data diolah berdasarkan hasil kebutuhan dari 4CPL.Kebutuhan CPL sikap yang paling utama adalah bertanggung jawab. Kebutuhan CPLpengetahuan yang paling utama adalah Bahasa Mandarin Industri dan Bisnis. Kebutuhan CPLketrampilan umum adalah Bahasa Inggris dan komputer dasar.. Abstract

The course is a course that aims to increase knowledge about tourist attractions in China. Learning activities for the course use learning media such as powerpoint presentations and textbook summaries, it is known that this does not attract students interest in learning. Based on this, the researcher decided to develop learning media, especially monopoly game learning media in the course so that it attracts more students' interest in learning activities. The aims of this study were (1) to describe the needs of lecturers and students for Monopoly game learning media in the course of the Chinese Language Education Study Program, Semarang State University. (2) Describe the procedure for developing Monopoly game media in the course, Mandarin Language Education Study Program, Semarang State University. (3) Describe the results of expert validation of the Monopoly game media in the course of the Chinese Language Education Study Program, Semarang State University. The research method used is the R and D (Research and Development) research method, namely through 5 stages: (1) Potential Problems, (2) Data Collection, (3) Product Design, (4) Design Validation (5) Design Revision. The results of the validation by material experts showed that the monopoly game learning media in the course of the Semarang State University Mandarin Education Study Program received an overall average score of 86.9, which means that the media is very suitable for use in learning. The results of validation by media experts showed that the monopoly game learning media in the course of the Semarang State University Mandarin Education Study Program received a score of 85.1, which means that the media is suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

In language learning, especially Chinese Language, writing is one of the four basic skills students must master. In learning to write, students have to require to master writing Hanzi. Writing Hanzi requires repeated practice and training so that students become accustomed to it and can memorize Hanzi writing. Hanzi writing practice books are really needed as supporting media in learning to write Hanzi. This research aims to produce an elementary-level Hanzi writing practice book as a learning medium for students by 1) Describing the results of analyzing learning media needs in the form of a basic-level Hanzi writing practice book. 2) Describe the results of designing a learning media product in the form of an elementary-level Hanzi writing practice book. 3) Describe the results of expert validation regarding learning media in the form of elementary-level Hanzi writing practice books. The learning media in a writing practice book is adapted to learning material, including Hanzi, pinyin, meaning, number of strokes, order of writing the strokes, and columns for writing practice. The research method used in this research is a research and development method with research stages up to the 5th stage, namely : (a) Potential and Problems, (b) Data Collection, (c) Product Design, (d) Design Validation, and (e) Design Revision. The expert validation results stated that this writing exercise book was suitable for trial use.

Abstract

Persiapan TOCFL merupakan salah satu mata kuliah pilihan yang disediakan di Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin Universitas Negeri Semarang. Mata kuliah ini merupakan salah satu mata kuliah yang dianggap sulit oleh mahasiswa. Banyak faktor yang melatarbelakangi kesulitan belajar mahasiswa dalam mempelajari mata kuliah ini, salah satunya adalah penggunaan kosakata yang berbeda dengan kosakata yang umum digunakan di daratan Tiongkok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan yang dialami oleh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin 2020 saat menempuh mata kuliah Persiapan TOCFL. Tidak hanya itu, penelitian dilakukan untuk menganalisis faktor internal dan eksternal yang mengakibatkan kesulitan belajar pada mata kuliah Persiapan TOCFL. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan seluruh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin 2020 yang menempuh mata kuliah Persiapan TOCFL pada semester 6 sebagai sumber data. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran angket, wawancara dengan seluruh mahasiswa, sejumlah mahasiswa yang memiliki nilai rendah, dan juga dengan dosen mata kuliah, serta observasi kelas selama satu semester penuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa mengalami kesulitan saat menempuh mata kuliah Persiapan TOCFL karena menggunakan kosakata yang berbeda dengan kosakata yang biasa dipelajari di kelas. Tempo rekaman yang cepat juga membuat siswa kesulitan untuk memahami inti dari soal yang diberikan. Rendahnya kemauan siswa untuk belajar mandiri merupakan salah satu faktor internal yang menyebabkan kesulitan belajar. Faktor eksternal yang menghambat pembelajaran adalah belum lengkapnya bahan ajar yang digunakan siswa saat ini sehingga pengetahuan siswa terhadap tata bahasa, kosakata, dan panduan mengerjakan soal TOCFL masih sangat rendah.

Abstract

Abstract: The Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) Mandarin Language Education Program Study is designed to train graduates for educator careers. However, it also responds to the significant need for graduates proficient in Mandarin within the industrial field. This response is further shaped by the new curriculum policy established by the Indonesian Minister of Education, which mandates that students must be prepared to enter the workforce before graduation. The Mandarin Language Education Program Study at UNNES is adaptable and responsive, developing learning outcomes that correspond with the requirements of the educational workforce. This study aims to describe learning outcomes, focusing on attitude, general skills, special skills, and knowledge for educational workforce needs. The research methodology employed is a robust and reliable descriptive qualitative approach, which includes practical data sources such as alumni, stakeholders, and job vacancy information. The results were derived from analyzing questionnaire responses from alumni employed in the education sector, stakeholders, and job vacancy data from Jobstreet.com. Namun, program studi ini juga memenuhi kebutuhan yang sangat banyak akan lulusan yang mahir berbahasa Mandarin di dunia industri. Hal ini semakin didukung oleh kebijakan kurikulum baru yang ditetapkan oleh Menteri Pendidikan Indonesia, yang menyatakan bahwa siswa harus siap memasuki dunia kerja sebelum lulus. Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin UNNES bersifat adaptif dan responsif, mengembangkan capaian pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan tenaga kependidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan capaian pembelajaran, berfokus pada sikap, keterampilan umum, keterampilan khusus, dan pengetahuan untuk kebutuhan tenaga kependidikan. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang kuat dan andal. Sumber data meliputi alumni, pemangku kepentingan, dan informasi lowongan kerja. Hasil penelitian diperoleh dari analisis respons kuesioner dari alumni yang bekerja di sektor pendidikan, pemangku kepentingan, dan data lowongan kerja dari Jobstreet.com. Abstract

This research was conducted based on the results of initial observations carried out by researchers to determine the level of students' knowledge regarding Mandarin language units, especially material regarding 动量词 (dòngliàngcí) or verb units. Based on the results of initial observations, researchers found that the majority of Chinese Language Education Program students class of 2022 still do not understand 动量词 (dòngliàngcí). This is proven by the questions that researchers have distributed to students of the class of 2022 of the Chinese Language Education Program. This question contains Mandarin language units. From this question, the results showed that as many as 60% of students from the class of 2022 answered incorrectly to the question regarding 动量词 (dòngliàngcí). Apart from that, researchers also found that the learning media used in the classroom were limited to textbooks and PowerPoint presentations, so it could be said that the teaching media used to learn Mandarin words was still very lacking. Based on these problems, researchers conducted research on the development of learning media for Figure books with the unit word 动量词 (dòngliàngcí). The objectives of the research are 1) Describe the results of the analysis of needs for developing learning media for Figure books with the unit word 动量词 (dòngliàngcí) for Chinese Language Education Program students, 2) Describe the results of the prototype learning media for Figure book learning media with the unit word 动量词 (dòngliàngcí) for study program students UNNES Mandarin language education, and 3) Describe the results of expert validation of the learning media for Figure books with the unit word 动量词 (dòngliàngcí) for Chinese Language Education Program students. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with five stages, namely 1) Potential and problems, (2) Data collection, (3) Product design, (4) Design validation, and (5) Design revision. Based on the results of the analysis of interviews with UNNES Mandarin language education lecturers and the results of the questionnaire analysis of the needs of Chinese Language Education Program students class of 2022, they agree with the existence of Figure book learning media with the unit word 动量词 (dòngliàngcí). The validation results by material experts obtained an average score of 87.5 with the number 4 (range of scores 86-100) and fell into the very appropriate or very appropriate category. Abstract

Drama can be said to be a realistic depiction of a character's life. Culture itself is the customs, traditions and beliefs that exist in society so that culture is always present in drama. Life values ​​also do not escape drama elements, one of which is in the drama 偷偷藏不住 (tōutōu cáng bù zhù). This research aims to describe the cultural values ​​contained in the drama 偷偷藏不住 (tōutōu cáng bù zhù) based on Edwar Djamaris' theory, and describe the cultural symbols contained in the drama 偷偷藏不住 (tōutōu cáng bù zhù) using theory Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotics in two sides, namely signs and objects. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research using note-taking techniques. Data collection uses note-taking techniques and the results of previous research, journals, books and other documents regarding cultural values. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions. The result is that there are five cultural values ​​contained in the drama 偷偷藏不住 (tōutōu cáng bù zhù) based on the theory of cultural values ​​by Edwar Djamaris, namely the cultural value of human relationship with God, the cultural value of human relationship with society, the cultural value of human relationship with self. itself, the cultural value of human relations with humans, and the cultural value of human relations with nature. Researchers also found six cultural symbols contained in the drama 偷偷藏不住 (tōutōu cáng bù zhù) based on semiotic theory by Charles Sanders Pierce, namely red ornaments, lanterns, paper sticks, red packets, Chinese knots, and the writing 囍.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the results of observations which showed that hanzi learning media for Chinese Language Education students at Semarang State University needed the development of creative and innovative hanzi learning media. The objectives of this research are 1) to describe the results of the needs analysis of radical hanzi learning media "忄xīn" for Chinese Language Education students at Semarang State University, 2) to describe the results of the prototype of radical hanzi learning media "忄xīn" for Mandarin Language Education students at Semarang State University, 3) to describe the results of expert validation of radical hanzi learning media "忄xīn" for Mandarin Language Education students at Semarang State University. The results of validation of learning media by material experts obtained an overall average score of 87, which was included in the score of 4. And the results of validation of learning media by media experts obtained an overall average score of 87.5, which was included in the score of 4 with the category very feasible to use with some improvements so that the media will be better and maximally used.

Abstract

This research is based on the observation of the use of instructional media in the Chuji Hanyu Xiezuo Xia course, which is limited to PPT and textbooks, leading to suboptimal Mandarin language learning. This is evidenced by the fact that students still struggle to understand and memorize Hanzi and their strokes. Additionally, students appear to easily become bored during lessons. Therefore, there is a need for media to assist students in learning Hanzi and its radicals. Based on these issues, the researcher developed a Congklak game as a tool for both learning and playing for students. The objectives of this research are: 1) To determine the results of the needs analysis for the Congklak game media on the Wuxing radicals material for the 2022 cohort of Mandarin Language Education students at Semarang State University, 2) To describe the prototype results of the Congklak game media on the Wuxing radicals material for the 2022 cohort of Mandarin Language Education students at Semarang State University, and 3) To describe the expert validation results of the Congklak game media on the Wuxing radicals material for the 2022 cohort of Mandarin Language Education students at Semarang State University. This research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method, consisting of five stages: 1) identification of potential and problems, 2) data collection, 3) product design, 4) design validation, and 5) design revision. This study resulted in the development of the Congklak game media to enhance students' understanding of the Wuxing radicals material. The needs assessment questionnaire results indicated that both students and lecturers agreed on the development of this media. Validation by media experts yielded an average score of 87.8 with a rating of 4, categorized as highly suitable for use. Meanwhile, validation by material experts obtained an average score of 87.9 with a rating of 4, also categorized as highly suitable for use. Based on feedback from material experts, the media was subsequently revised.

Abstract

In learning Mandarin, there are four fundamental skills that students must master: writing, reading, speaking, and listening. Writing skills are taught from the first semester to the sixth semester through courses such as 初级汉语写作上 chūjí hànyǔ xiězuò shàng (Basic Mandarin Writing I) to 高级汉语写作下 gāojí hànyǔ xiězuò xià (Advanced Mandarin Writing II), which focus on writing practice. Additionally, 汉字 hànzì material is also taught in the course 现代汉语上xiàndài hànyǔ shàng (Modern Mandarin I), but the emphasis is more on theoretical aspects. In this course, students learn about the origins and development of Hanzi characters currently in use, including the methods of character formation. The course 现代汉语上xiàndài hànyǔ shàng focuses on three main topics: 语音yǔyīn (Phonology), 文字 wénzì (Characters), and 词汇cíhuì (Vocabulary). The reference book used, 现代汉语 xiàndài hànyǔ (Modern Mandarin), is written entirely in Mandarin without translations. This is one of the reasons why the researcher aims to develop teaching materials on 汉字 hànzì (Hanzi) for the 现代汉语上 xiàndài hànyǔ shàng course, aligning them with the intended learning outcomes and the course duration. These three main topics must be covered within one semester.
