Abstract

This research is about human resource, especially about turnover intention. This research was done on staf of Spinning PT “X” in Semarang city. The sample obtained 377 samples of staf. The sample selected by randomsampling use stratified random sampling.The analysing use multiple regresion and the hypothesis test use t-test for partial test and F test for Simultaneous test. Mediating analysing use path analysis. The result of the research show that the applicaton of job insecurity and job satisfaction have significant influence on turnover intentions that mediating by commitment organizational of spinning department both of partial and simultaneous.

Abstract

Porong estuary is a place where materials transported along the river have been accumulated as well as Sidoarjo sludge. The amount of sediment in the estuary causes high turbidity levels of the river. The objective of this study is to determine the pattern and the concentration of Total Suspended Solid (TSS) spreading in Porong estuary for 15 days with SED2D models from software SMS 8.1 using maximum and minimum riverflow input, thus, the model results that are closer to reality in nature can be obtained. Tides, currents, and TSS were used as primary data sources, while Porong riverflow, Juanda wind and bathymetry maps Java-North Coast Surabaya to Bali Strait scale 1: 200.000 Sheet V No.82 year 2006 as secondary data sources. The results of the research showed that the concentration of TSS spreading for maximum riverflow 248–158 mg/l and minimum riverflow input 248–160 mg/l with spreading pattern tend to go to southeast direction. TSS concentration spreading model verification indicates that the model with the maximum riverflow data input has smaller MRE value than the model with the minimum riverflow.

Abstract

The dance of bambu gila or barasuwen is unique because its mystical aspect. Its aspect is shown by the existence of mantra and sage as the important part and can not be separated from the performance of the dance of bambu gila. Today, this dance is rarely performed because some factors that are the death of sage of the dance, mantra closed inheritance, the shift of enthusiasm of young generation and the society. The aim of the study is to reveal the role of mantra and sage in the maintenance effort of bambu gila dance in the Province of Maluku. The method of this study is qualitative method, while the theory are semiotics, to interprete the mantra text, and literature sociology, to reveal how important the role of mantra and sage in the maintenance of the dance of bambu gila is. The result shows that the mantra and sage have the important role in the dance. The function of the dance are begging the assist from the ancestor, blessing, and acknowledging the supreme power of God. The function of mantra is to process the ancestor soul and the magical spirit in order to control the bamboo and its dancer. The key of maintenance of the dance is awareness of the sage in doing more open mantra inheritance and its ritual to the society.

Abstract

Garcinia tetranda Pierre (Clusiaceae) was reported as source of flavonoid which has various bioactivities forhealth. Pure compound has been isolated by repeat chromatography techniques (Vacuum Column Chromatography,preparative TLC and TLC). UV, IR, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR spectroscopic data of isolated compound (isolate)compared with the compound which was found before, and showed same as biflavonoid GB-1 data. Antibacterialassay against Salmonella typhi showed lower activity than chloramphenicol. Biflavonoid GB-1 compound foundin this study is different to the previous study, which all of compounds were classified as xanthones. Therefore,result of this study improves compound variability of Garcinia tetranda. However GB-1 is not potentially used asGram-negative antibacterial agent, especially against Salmonella typhi.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan sintesis pelet superkonduktor Bi1.6Pb0.4Sr2Ca1.8Mg0.2Cu3O10+δ menggunakan metode padatan dan proses sintering berulang.Benda uji yang dibuat dianalisis dengan menggunakan XRD (X-ray Diffractometer) dan SEM – EDS (Scanning Elektron Microscopy - Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy). Berdasarkan analisis XRD didapatkan fase yang terbentuk adalah (Bi,Pb)-2223, (Bi,Pb)-2212, CaPbO3, Ca2PbO4 dan MgO. Perlakuan sintering berulang pada benda uji BPSCCO doping Mg dapat meningkatkan fraksi volume (Bi,Pb)-2223 dari 37% menjadi 68%. Berdasarkan analisis SEM, didapatkan luas porositas pada morfologi permukaan benda uji sebesar 4,742%. Adapun dengan perlakuan sintering berulang menyebabkan terjadinya penurunan luas porositas dari 4,742% menjadi 2,132% hingga 1,589% untuk benda uji sintering 1 kali, 2 kali, dan 3 kali. Bentuk butir juga semakin lebih seragam akibat dari perlakuan sintering berulang yang diberikan pada sampel.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan blending starch berkadar amilosa tinggi dengan polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) hidrolisa parsial menggunakan metode ekstrusi. Pemlastis yang digunakan adalah air. Hot press digunakan untuk membentuk hasilekstrusi menjadi lembaran film. Film yang dihasilkan fleksibel dan transparan. Dari pengujian sifat mekaniknya, kelembapan relatif (RH) yang rendah memberikan sifat rapuh pada film. Sebaliknya, spesimen yang diletakkan dalam desikator pada RH 70% menunjukkan sifat ulet. Nilai maksimum dari kuat tarik (tensile strength) dan Modulus Young masing-masing adalah 43 MPa and 1100 MPa. Semua nilai maksimum ini didapat saat film dikondisikan pada RH 43%. Sementara penambahan konsentrasi PVA meningkatkan elongation-to-break sampel.

Abstract

Liberalization of trade in tourism services among ASEAN member countries has been conducted for almost 15 years. However, it is still unclear whether the phenomenon could significantly improve Indonesia’s tourism competitiveness. Through a mixed between literary research and years of personal work experience on international cooperation affairs, a preliminary conclusion shows that the liberalization of trade in tourism services does not directly improve Indonesia’s tourism competitiveness compared to other ASEAN member countries.The result of this research also suggests that government policy based on liberal development theories should be reviewed.

Abstract

This qualitative research about composing the organizational aspect of polder board used case study method.Findings show that the suitable organizational form for Banger Polder System is a board that: 1) reflects theside who give direction; 2) reflects the responsibility to both internally (community) and externally (City Major);3) involve the internal and external stakeholders for operational and maintenance tasks; 4) the capacity andcomposition of the member organization (board direction) reflects the stakeholders support and interest related tooperational and maintenance tasks.
