An Nisa is a scientific journal for disseminating results of conceptual research or studies on gender and child, is published two times (June and December) a year. An Nisa is managed by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) at Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Bone. The publications through An Nisa include results of research or conceptual studies about gender, women, and child that have never been published elsewhere. The An Nisa is intended for experts, academics, practitioners, state administrators, and NGOs. The aim of this journal is to provide a venue for academicians, researchers and practitioners for publishing the original research articles or review articles. The scope of the articles published in this journal deal with a broad range of topics in the fields ofgender and child.

Abstract

This article elaborates the important roles of mothers in children’s character education according to Islamic perspectives. Character education is absolutely important by all the glory of man lies in his character. The formulation of important issues to be discussed is the importance of family education, the maternal virtue in Islamic view and the mother’s role in shaping the character of children. Family education is very important in Islam, since family is the main pillar for the formation of children's character. In family education, mothers hold a central role as primary and first educators. The posititon of the mother in Islamic view is glorius. As a proof of noble posititon of the mother in Islamic teaching, a mother is entitled to devotion of a child as much as three times more than the father. Mothers play crucial roles in shaping the chacarter of children. To perform such a noble task, mothers can do things like: providing prenatal education, giving good examples to children, instilling good characters from childhood such as honesty, discipline and responsibility; and building good communication between mother and child.

Abstract

The key to the permanence of marital ties, both monogamy and polygamy, is of course due to the foundation of love. However, if the nature of this love is based solely on the spouse or mere happiness of the world, it is only natural that a dispute occurs. The concept of philosophical Sufism and the theory of Irfani teach that the basis of marriage should be to anchor that holy love to the Supreme Love, in the fusion of self and ego to mortal towards Him. So even in polygamy, everyone in the family will not do it because they expect other praise. But all choices and blessings are imprinted only on the Divine of God.

                                                               AbstrakFenomena pada salah satu sekolah di Kabupaten Bone, tepatnya pada RA Nurul Bahra Bone, salah satu RA di daerah Kabupaten Bone yang berada pada naungan Yayasan tamoponreng. Anak-anak usia dini pada sekolah ini mempunyai suatu kebiasaan yang berbeda dengan sekolah pada umumnya, seperti contoh pada setiap sosok kyai pesantren berjalan melewati gedung RA Nurul bahra Bone, anak-anak di sekolah ini secara spontan, tanpa adanya komando dari guru, mereka bergegas saling berebut untuk bersalaman kepada kyai. Berawal dari fenomena di atas peneliti ingin mengetahui secara mendalam tentang penanaman nilai-nilai Islam dalam membentuk sopan santun pada anak usia dini. serta beberapa hambatan guru dalam melakukan proses penanaman nilai-nilai Islam pada anak usia dini di Raudlatul Athfal (RA) Nurul Bahra. Metode penelitian yang peneliti pakai adalah metode kualitatif, dengan pendekatan fenomonologi, dengan mencari data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi kepada beberapa sumber data, setelah itu dilakukan analisis data dari miles dan hubarman disertai dengan triangulasi data. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa cara penanaman nilai-nilai Islam dalam membentuk sopan santun anak adalah mengkonsep bermain sambil belajar, memberikan cerita-cerita tauladan, menonton film Islami sambil belajar, memberikan contoh secara terus menerus, agar menjadi pembiasaan pada diri anak. Sedangkan hambatan dari guru adalah wali murid yang kurang memperhatikan kepada anak dikarenakan berbagai kesibukannya.                                                             AbstractThe phenomenon in one school in Bone Regency, in contrast to RA Nurul Bahra Bone, one of the RA in Bone Regency area which is in the shade of Tamoponreng Fondation. Early childhood at this school have different habits with children in school, such as in every picture of Islamic boarding school Kyai (Cleric) walking past RA Nurul Bahra building, children in this school spontaneously, without seeing the command from the teacher, they know scrambling to shake hands for clerics. Start from the phenomenon in wanting to find out about Islam Islamic values in making polite in early childhood. Some challenges of the teacher in carrying out the process of Islamic values in early childhood at Nurul Bahra Bone’s Raudlatul Athfal (RA). The research method used by researchers is a qualitative method, using phonology, by looking for data through interviews, observation, and data source collection, after which data analysis is carried out from miles and links using data triangulation. The results show how to cultivate Islamic values in shaping the courtesy of children to conceptualize playing while learning, giving stories of exemplary, watching Islamic films while learning, providing complete examples continuously, so that they can be financed according to the child's own needs. While the teacher is the guardian of the student who does not pay attention to the child considering his various activities.

Many women workers engaged in various activities in the tourism sector, but gender issues are always attached to them which limit womens’ activities in the public domain such as various forms of marginalization, discrimination, and subordination that was reflected in the inequality of wages or salaries. Dual role for women workers into a dilemma, on one hand they are as housewives who have excellent troubleshooting and households, on the other hand they must be professional in a career.

Abstract

Gender and Pain Levels of Dysmenorrhea: Does Social Support and Anxiety Also Influence?Dysmenorrhea is a menstrual disorder characterized by pain that attacks the lower abdomen until it reaches the pelvic area and thighs, which is experienced by individuals before and during menstruation due to muscle contractions in the uterine lining that block bloods flow. Dysmenorrhea is a common health problem in society that affects the quality of life of individuals. Physical and psychological factors of pain sufferers also contribute to influencing the level of dysmenorrhea pain. This study aims to determine the relationship between social support and anxiety with the level of adolescent pain in SMA Negeri 16 Makassar. Subjects in this study were 150 people consisting of young women aged 15 to 17 years who were known to have experienced menarche for at least one year and had not experienced menopause, lived with parents, and were known to have dysmenorrhea. Data collection was carried out on adolescents in Makassar 16 Public High Schools by using social support scale, depression, anxiety, and stress scale (DASS) scale and pain comparison scale. Data analysis uses multiple regression analysis techniques. The results show the value of P = 0.007, R-square = 0.064, and Fcount = 5.065. The analysis showed that social support and anxiety together had an influence on the level of dysmenorrhea pain in adolescents at SMA Negeri 16 Makassar (Fcount Ftable = 5.065 3.00). The effective contribution of social support and anxiety to the level of pain is 6.4%. These results indicate that social support and anxiety have a low influence on pain levels. AbstrakDismenore merupakan gangguan menstruasi yang ditandai dengan rasa sakit yang menyerang perut bagian bawah hingga mencapai daerah panggul dan paha, yang dialami individu sebelum dan sesaat menstruasi karena kontraksi otot pada dinding rahim yang menghambat aliran darah. Dismenore menjadi masalah kesehatan umum di masyarakat yang mempengaruhi kualitas hidup individu. Faktor fisik dan psikologis penderita nyeri turut andil dalam mempengaruhi tingkat nyeri dismenore. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial dan kecemasan dengan tingkat nyeri remaja di SMA Negeri 16 Makassar. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 150 orang yang terdiri dari remaja putri berusia 15 sampai 17 tahun yang diketahui telah mengalami menarche minimal satu tahun dan belum mengalami menopause, tinggal bersama orang tua, dan diketahui mengalami dismenore. Pengumpulan data dilakukan terhadap remaja di SMA Negeri 16 Makassar dengan menggunakan skala dukungan sosial, skala depression, anxiety, and stress scale (DASS) dan skala perbandingan nyeri. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis regresi ganda. Hasil menunjukkan nilai P=0,007, R-square=0,064, dan Fhitung=5,065. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial dan kecemasan bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh terhadap tingkat nyeri dismenore pada remaja di SMA Negeri 16 Makassar (Fhitung Ftabel = 5,065 3,00). Besar sumbangsih efektif dukungan sosial dan kecemasan terhadap tingkat nyeri adalah sebesar 6,4%. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial dan kecemasan memiliki pengaruh yang rendah terhadap tingkat nyeri.

Abstract

This article is aimed to discuss about women position which is usually put in second part at social class. Deconstructing woman inferiority will be studied by using religious feminism at this article. This is result of qualitative research based on library study by looking at previous articles discuss the theme then analyzing them through religious feminism approach. The finding approves that emergence of sub-class woman are affected by people understanding about Islamic religious constructed by interpreter thoughts and Islam figures views which lead social believe and assumption. In addition,  physical woman that needs man protection welcomes the emergence of women inferiority. Basically, the woman is created softly and weak more than man. It forces her to be protected by male like husband and enables him to arrogantly treat her inhuman.
