Abstract

The use of modules allows students to learn independently according to their abilities and interests, but it can also develop the ability to interact directly with the environment and other learning resources. This study aims to produce a module based on metacognitive strategies to reduce misconceptions on salt hydrolysis material. This research is a Research and Development by adapting the research and development stages modified by Sukmadinata with one group pretest-posttest design which is treated with a limited trial sample of 20 students of class XI MIPA at SMAN 1 Lamongan. The research instrument used was students' conception test sheets given before and after learning with the number of items, namely 5 reasoned multiple-choice questions accompanied by CRI (Certainty of Response Index). The results showed that in the concept of the hydrolysis reaction there was a change in misconception (MK) to know the concept (TK) by 74%, to not know the concept (TTK) by 0%, and still have a misconception (MK) by 26%. In the concept of salt solution pH there is a shift to TK, TTK, and MK respectively by 50%, 0%, and 50%. Thus, it can be concluded that modules based on metacognitive strategies can reduce misconceptions about the concept of hydrolysis reactions by 74% and about the concept of pH of salt solutions by 50%.

Abstract

Writing skills in Indonesian language learning include many texts. One of them is short story text. However, sometimes, learning to write short stories becomes boring. This happens if the teacher does not provide innovation and the right strategy in the learning process so that it runs effectively in accordance with the learning objectives. The development of science and technology requires teachers to be able to develop skills in making learning media. This research uses the Research and Development method and the model used is ADDIE. This research method is used to produce certain products and test the effectiveness of these products. Based on the assessment of design experts, a score of 85.71% was obtained, an assessment by media experts obtained a percentage score of 85.71%, and a material expert assessment with a percentage score of 90%. Based on the results of validation conducted by design experts and media experts, the results obtained are included in the "Very Feasible" category. Then from the results of the student response questionnaire obtained a score of 92%. The results of the assessment by media experts are 85.71%, so it can be concluded that the feasibility of Digital Scrapbook learning media on the material of writing short story text is included in the "Very Feasible" category, meaning that the development of Digital Scrapbook learning media on the material of writing short story text for students of class XI MP 1 SMK Negeri 1 Probolinggo is "Very Feasible" to be used in Indonesian language learning.

Abstract

The taste of coffee is not only influenced by the type of coffee but also by the brewing methods. The phenomenon of brewing coffee is an interesting scientific phenomenon that can be used as a Socio-scientific Issues (SSI) theme. SSI are social issues that exist in society, contain the basis of science, and in their resolution trigger dialogue, discussion and debate. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of science literacy as an impact of SSI exploration on the phenomenon of coffee brewing methods. This research uses qualitative methods and is conducted at SK Coffee Lab Kediri with baristas as the source of information. Interviews are arranged based on indicators of science literacy with four main components, knowledge of science, the investigation nature of science, science as a way of thinking, and the interaction of science, technology, and society. Based on this research, the results were obtained that baristas at SK Coffee Lab have a sufficient level of physics science literacy with a percentage of 70%. While the descriptions of each indicator are as follows: the indicator of knowledge of science scored 75% with good criteria, the indicator of the investigation nature of science scored 75% with good criteria, on the indicator of science as a way of thinking scored 80% with good criteria and on indicators of the interaction of science, technology and society scored 80% with good criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an E-Book on Static Fluid Content in Tutoring as an educational partner to improve students' numeracy literacy competence. E-Book development is carried out using the 4-D development model which consists of defining, designing, developing, and disseminating stages. The research instruments used were E-Book validation sheets and questions that were tested on material expert lecturers and media expert lecturers from Surabaya State University. The validation results show that the E-Book developed has a very valid quality, with a validity percentage of 97%. Aspects of presentation feasibility, content feasibility and linguistic feasibility in the E-Book as a whole meet the criteria of "Very Valid" (85-100%) based on the validity interpretation table. In addition, the validity of the pre-test and post-test questions in the E-Book also proved high with a validity percentage of 89%. The questions measure students' ability to identify facts, formulate mathematical problems, use mathematical concepts, facts, procedures, and reasoning in the context of static fluids, carry out calculations based on certain rules or formulas, and interpret numeracy to solve problems. With the results of a high percentage of validity, this Static Fluid E-Book is reliable and feasible to use as teaching material media in improving students' numeracy literacy competencies. Interactive features in the E-Book, such as "Go Watch", "Mind Map", "Go Information", "Go Concept", "Problem Drilling", and "Reflection", provide interesting and diverse learning experiences for students in understanding static fluid concepts.

Abstract

The Double Track High School Program is a program that provides the provisions of high school students in order to have competencies such as vocational students, one of which is the Fashion Design competency. Tests are needed to measure students' cognitive abilities. This research is a test that aims to obtain information on the validation of the Fashion Design cognitive test items using the classical test theory. This quantitative descriptive study uses a multiple choices test with four choices of 40 items. Participants' responses were collected through Google form for Fashion Design class of 2019 and 2018 totaling 122 respondents. The analysis technique with the strata program was analyzed using classical test theory. Based on the analysis of the cognitive validation tests of fashion design competencies Double track high school program results obtained the validation of the test uses classical test theory with a test reliability coefficient of 0.5729 for the number of tests as many as 40 questions, meaning the question items has moderate reliability. The conclusion is a test can be used for fashion design double track high school program.

Abstract

Learning about electromagnetic induction in physics calls for a deeper comprehension of abstract ideas and ways of thinking. This article is part of a development research project on augmented reality-based learning materials focused on electromagnetic induction. Its goal is to assess the reliability and efficacy of augmented reality-based learning materials with a particular emphasis on the cognitive learning outcomes of students. The 4-D development model "Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate" is used in the study. (1) It is extremely practical to apply learning media based on augmented reality electromagnetic induction subject matter. (2) As a result of trials carried out based on the outcomes of a mean N gain of 0.76, the cognitive learning outcomes of students improved. The independent t-test findings revealed a significant relationship between the two variables, with a significant 2 tails of 0.000 (3). Student replies revealed that the learning medium are extremely practicable to use, with an average percentage value of 87%. Thus, it is advised to use augmented reality-based learning media for physics ideas that call for high levels of knowledge and abstract thought.
