Abstract

Vocational High Schools (SMK), recognized as a solution to address unemployment in Indonesia, simultaneously face the challenge of having the highest open unemployment rate (TPT) compared to other educational levels, standing at 10.38%. Enhancing the quality of questions assessing entrepreneurial readiness is a pivotal approach in tackling this issue. Various factors contribute to students' preparedness for entrepreneurship. This study aims to identify these components by surveying 176 respondents. Employing the Entrepreneurial Readiness Test and analyzing it through Classical Test Theory (CTT) and the Rasch Analysis Model, the research revealed that entrepreneurial mental attitude, risk-taking ability, creativity, motivation, and entrepreneurial skills significantly influence students' readiness for entrepreneurship. The analysis yielded IMS (Infit mean-square) scores ranging from 0.88 to 1.17 and OMS (Outfit mean-square) values between 0.86 to 1.35, indicating a fit for all 50 items in the entrepreneurial readiness test.

Abstract

Learning science and religion is a combination of knowledge or science with relevant verses of the Al-Qur’an. Education is not only a means of gaining general knowledge through subjects, but also covers aspects of life as a whole, including religious morals. Considering that natural phenomena are so vast, it would be a shame if students are not given enough integration between science and religion, one of which is in physics lessons. The researcher took the initiative to carry out the application of science and religion further in the hope of providing a solution, namely by teaching physics, fluid material, integrated with verses from the Al-Al-Qur’an. This study employs mixed or combined research (mixed methods) with the type of Explanatory Design. Specifically, data collection and analysis of quantitative data are done in the first stage, and then qualitative data are collected and analyzed in the second stage. The integration of science and religion for the fluid material used produces an average value that is categorized as very good. Apart from that, the material from the validation results uses 3 foundations, namely the theological basis (hadârat an-nas), philosophical basis (hadârat al-falsafah), and scientific basis (hadârat al-'ilm). So that the verses of the Al-Qur’an become the main source of the theological basis for the idea of integration by including religious elements, then the scientific or scientific basis which includes the basics of static fluid physics, and the philosophical basis which includes the field of philosophy to connect these two things.

Abstract

One way that can be done to improve the quality of teachers is to carry out supervision properly. Supervision is not only carried out to improve teacher abilities, but also to increase teacher motivation, especially achievement motivation. This study aims to reveal supervision carried out through a reality approach to increase teacher achievement motivation. To achieve the research objectives, the research approach used is qualitative, with data analysis through condensation, data display, and verification / conclusion. Data collection is done through interviews, observations, and document studies. Based on the results of the research obtained, the implementation of supervision through a reality approach is carried out through three stages, namely pre-conference, conference, and post-conference. At the pre-conference stage, the supervisor together with the supervise analyze the problems experienced and agree on the time for the implementation of supervision. The Conference stage is carried out by talking personally to increase teacher motivation. At the conference stage, the reality approach is used using WDEP (Wants, Direction, Evaluation, and Planning) techniques. At the Post Conference stage, follow up on the results of the supervision carried out.

Abstract

This research is research that aims to develop a Community-Based School Management Model in the Digital Age. This study aims to develop a community participation model in education involving people or groups both at the implementation planning, evaluation, utilization of results, accountability and development in the education sector. In management science, the term participation is defined as a process of mental and emotional involvement in an activity. This study used research and development method to develop a well-adapted model to be integrated in primary schools for Indonesian context. A special model is needed in community-based school management to face challenges in the digital era. This model answers the gaps that occur related to school needs and community involvement in it as an effort to improve the quality of education, focusing on social demands to education output and outcome. Previously, it can be inferred from some studies that community-based management were not integrated optimally while stakeholders perceived school as a formal institutions rather than an important institution for culture, economics, knowledge to be developed. The newest model of school management was integrated on SDS Plus Al-Qodiri. It resulted on the Community-Based School Management Model in the Digital Age can be used as a guide for schools, not only partner schools but other schools with the same focus, to continue to adapt and respond to current challenges, especially in involving the community in the advancement of education.

Abstract

In the present work we outline a hypothesis on what the role of glia cells could be in several operations processed by our brain. Going beyond the classical concept that attributes an almost ancillary function to glia at the service of neurons, and on the basis of what emerges from a lot of more or less recent studies about the possible glia-neuron collaboration in supporting many and diversified organic events, we intend to show how this functional synergy could be reasonably imagined as fundament of specific organic and mental processes both in the ordinary activity perspective and in the horizon of psycho-physical performances of higher level, where the exact meaning of psycho-physical performances of higher level will become later. In the frame of an evolutionary view of the human organism–considered in its wholeness–and of an evolution characterized by an increasing structural complexity, our aim is to present the idea (having to be carefully tested and developed in other contexts) according to which each organism is intimately driven to liberate itself from the contingency of the events occurring in the environment within which it is immersed. All this, in compliance with a general principle that seems to condition the living matter in its complex, that is, the principle of pursuing coenaesthesia, here generically conceived as the internal well-being which every organism wants to safeguard. The underlying persuasion is that evolution in complexity, tendency to a certain environmental emancipation and need for coenaesthesia, which the nature of living beings all together contains, can be better identified if we just begin to treat neurons and glia as a morphologic-functional unit that organically and systematically represents them.

Abstract

Implementing a Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesia has not been able to foster critical awareness among students and educators entirely. This research focuses on how integrating Paulo Freire's concept of conscientization in the Merdeka Curriculum can facilitate a more holistic and learner-centered approach to education. In this context, this study uses a literature review approach. The results showed that 1) The integration of critical awareness in the Merdeka Curriculum can be realized through problem-posing methods and dialogical methods emphasizing the importance of critical awareness and reflective action. 2) Applying this method can foster students' critical awareness in developing their knowledge more broadly, empowering students while respecting human values. 3) The involvement of all relevant parties in listening to and understanding the concerns of teachers and staff and active student involvement in the learning process can overcome teacher unpreparedness in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. In addition, digital platforms and online learning resources can effectively provide education focusing on student empowerment and social awareness. Comprehensive training programs for educators are crucial to overcoming the diversity of teacher competencies.
