Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Monti ransomware infection on Linux operating systems through a digital forensic approach based on artefacts and metadata. The investigation was conducted in an isolated laboratory environment using physical hardware, employing RAM acquisition and disk imaging methods on two system states: before and after infection. The ransomware execution was triggered by the monti.elf binary located in the temporary /tmp direktori, initiating encryption of operational files within the /Documents direktori. The analysis utilized Sleuthkit tools, focusing on file system structures, inode metadata, timestamps, and artefact distribution. Findings indicate that Monti employs an in-place encryption technique, replacing file contents without altering inode or block location. Key artefacts identified include encrypted files (.puuuk, .monti), ransom notes (readme.txt), execution logs (result.txt), and the ransomware binary (monti.elf). All artefacts share identical timestamps, suggesting automated execution within a single session. Validation was performed through comparative analysis of clean and infected systems, entropy measurements, and examination of TOR-based communication structures embedded in the ransom notes. These findings confirm that Monti operates as part of a Ransomware-as-a-Service (RaaS) ecosystem, with a structured and efficient infection pattern. This research contributes to the mapping of Monti ransomware artefacts and the development of forensic investigation methodologies tailored for Linux environments.

Abstract

The problems that often arise in evaluating the performance of the Quality Control team are the subjectivity in determining the weight of criteria and the limitations of traditional methods in producing objective and consistent rankings. To address this issue, this research integrates the Indifference Threshold-based Attribute Ratio Analysis (ITARA) and Multi-Objective Optimization on the basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) methods within a decision support system. The ITARA method is used to determine the weights of criteria based on data variation, making them more representative of real conditions, with the result that Accuracy of Product Defect Identification becomes the most dominant criterion with a weight of 0.3999, followed by Response Speed to Issues at 0.1877, while other criteria have lower weights. Furthermore, the MOORA method is used to calculate the preference of alternatives, resulting in a final ranking. The analysis results indicate that the Quality Assurance Team ranks first, followed by the Quality Improvement Team in second place, while the Quality Inspection Team is in the last position. To test the reliability of the model, a sensitivity analysis was conducted by varying the weights of the main criteria. The results show that the ranking structure is relatively stable, with changes only occurring in the positions of the first and second ranks when the accuracy weight is reduced by 0.2. In conclusion, the combination of ITARA-MOORA proves to be capable of producing objective, robust, and reliable performance evaluations as a basis for strategic decision-making in enhancing the quality of the quality control teams.

Abstract

The rapid growth of e-commerce and the popularity of live commerce have created a new competitive landscape for marketplaces in Indonesia, necessitating a deeper understanding of the factors that drive consumer purchase intention. This study aims to analyze the influence of two key elements: Streamer Credibility (the human element) and Interactive Features (the technological element) on Consumer Purchase Intention within the context of live shopping. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method, with data collected via an online questionnaire from 100 respondents who are active users of live shopping features on marketplace applications in Indonesia. Data were analyzed using path analysis with Smart-PLS software. The findings reveal that Interactive Features have a strong, significant, and positive influence on Consumer Purchase Intention (path coefficient = 0.730; T-statistic = 10.134). Conversely, and contrary to common assumptions, Streamer Credibility was found to have no significant direct influence on Purchase Intention (path coefficient = 0.006; T-statistic = 0.056). However, the study also found that Interactive Features significantly and positively influence Streamer Credibility perception. The study concludes that the technological aspect (Interactive Features) plays a more dominant role than the human aspect (Streamer Credibility) in directly driving consumer purchase intention within the live commerce ecosystem. This implies that for business practitioners, the main priority should be investing in a seamless and engaging interactive experience as a key strategy to boost sales.

Abstract

This study explores the key barriers hindering the adoption of telehealth services among employees diagnosed with Metabolic Syndrome (MetS), using the Innovation Resistance Theory (IRT) framework. The focus on office employees is justified, as this group is highly susceptible to MetS due to sedentary work routines that elevate cardiometabolic risks, making telehealth a potentially valuable tool for continuous monitoring and disease management. A quantitative approach was employed with data collected from 400 office-based employees with MetS in Indonesia via an online survey. Constructs related to usage, value, risk, tradition, and image barriers were measured and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that all five barriers significantly and negatively influence the intention to use telehealth, with usage barrier (β = −0.274; p = 0.001) and image barrier (β = −0.196; p = 0.000) exerting the strongest effects. The model demonstrates strong explanatory power, with R² values of 0.600 for intention to use and 0.515 for actual usage. Furthermore, intention to use was found to significantly predict actual usage and mediate the effects of resistance barriers on adoption behavior. These findings highlight the need to enhance system usability, increase perceived value, and build a credible telehealth image. This research contributes to telehealth literature by validating IRT in a chronic disease context and offering strategic insights for service developers, healthcare policymakers, and digital health marketers aiming to reduce resistance and boost adoption.

Abstract

Stunting remains a critical public health problem in Indonesia, with a national prevalence of 19.8% reported in 2024, emphasizing the need for accurate and accessible nutrition monitoring tools that can be utilized independently by parents at home. This study developed a mobile application called “Gizi Pantau,” which applies the WHO-standardized Z-score method to assess toddler nutritional status through three key anthropometric indicators, namely Weight-for-Age, Height/Length-for-Age, and Weight-for-Height/Length. The purpose of this research is to improve the practicality and continuity of nutrition monitoring through mobile health technology. The system development followed the SDLC Waterfall model, covering requirement analysis, system design, implementation using Flutter and Firebase, and system testing. Evaluation was conducted using Black Box Testing, which resulted in a 100% success rate across five functional test scenarios, accuracy validation using 20 toddler data samples with 98.3% accuracy and an average deviation of ±0.03 SD compared to manual WHO-based calculations, and acceptability testing involving 20 parents and 7 healthcare professionals yielding an average score of 4.50 categorized as Very Good. These results indicate that Gizi Pantau is feasible and effective as an early detection and continuous nutrition monitoring tool, supporting Indonesia’s national stunting reduction efforts.

Abstract

This study examines the adoption of digital payment systems and e-commerce platforms as strategic instruments for market expansion among culinary MSMEs in Pematangsiantar City. Despite the rapid progression of digital transformation in Indonesia, the utilisation of these technologies among MSMEs in medium-sized cities remains limited due to inadequate digital literacy, insufficient infrastructure, and low managerial readiness. Employing a quantitative approach through Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) with a sample of 100 respondents, this study investigates the influence of digital payment and e-commerce adoption on market expansion strategies. The findings reveal that digital payment significantly enhances market expansion (β = 0.193; p < 0.05), indicating that efficient, secure, and reliable transaction mechanisms strengthen customer reach and business scalability. Conversely, e-commerce adoption does not demonstrate a significant independent effect (β = 0.127; p > 0.05), suggesting that its effectiveness is contingent upon stronger digital competencies and ecosystem support. However, the interaction between digital payment and e-commerce exhibits a significant synergistic effect (β = 0.158; p < 0.05), implying that integrated adoption yields greater strategic value than isolated implementation. With an explanatory power of 5.7%, the model also highlights the presence of other external factors influencing market expansion. Overall, this study contributes theoretical and practical insights into MSME digitalisation in non-metropolitan contexts and offers implications for policymakers and business support institutions in strengthening digital transformation initiatives.

Abstract

Determining the ripeness level of tomatoes is a crucial aspect in ensuring consumption quality. However, the methods commonly used by the public are still manual and subjective, relying on visual observations of color and surface texture. This limitation leads to a high rate of errors in selecting fruits suitable for consumption or processing purposes, potentially resulting in food waste, economic loss, and decreased efficiency within the agricultural supply chain. Without the development of a technology-based assistance system, these impacts will continue to recur and may threaten food security on both micro and macro scales. As a solution, this study develops an intelligent system based on digital image processing to detect tomato ripeness levels. The system utilizes color feature extraction using the HSV histogram and texture feature extraction using the Local Binary Pattern (LBP), which are then processed through a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model for image classification. The results show that the system achieves an accuracy of 95.12%, outperforming (or matching) state-of-the-art end-to-end CNN-based methods on the same or similar datasets, demonstrating the effectiveness of HSV-LBP features. The implementation of this system is expected to help users make more accurate decisions when selecting tomatoes according to their needs, reduce waste, and improve consumption efficiency.

Abstract

The increase in household electricity consumption in Indonesia poses a major challenge to efficient and sustainable energy management. This research aims to develop a household electricity consumption status prediction system based on Mamdani fuzzy logic using the Python programming language. The system was designed to classify electricity usage into “efficient” or “inefficient” categories based on three main input variables: electrical power, usage duration, and number of electronic devices. The design process included fuzzification, rule base construction, Mamdani inference, and defuzzification, with the final results integrated into Google Sheets. System validation was performed by comparing 55 predicted results to actual labeled data. Performance evaluation using confusion matrix analysis showed an overall accuracy of 80% (44 out of 55 data) and a Mean Squared Error (MSE) value of 0.20. The main advantage of this model is its perfect sensitivity (recall) (100%) in detecting inefficient classes, as evidenced by a False Negative (FN) value of 0. The system successfully identified all 39 actual inefficient cases, although there were 11 efficiency cases that were classified as inefficient (False Positive). This research contributes to providing a precise digital tool that can increase public awareness of energy efficiency and support the control of household electricity consumption.
