Abstract

This study uses quantitative methods. which uses numbers in data presentation and analysis using statistical tests. The data analysis used in this research is simple regression analysis. This study aims to determine the effect of promotional costs on increasing third party funds at PT Bank Muamalat KCP Binjai. From the research results, the results of the Regression and Correlation Test can be concluded that the promotion cost has a significant effect on the amount of third party funds. which is significant to variable Y (amount of third party funds). With the F table value of 4.67, or fcount (6.703)> ftable (4.67), it can be concluded that the F test is significant, which means that collectively the independent variable (the amount of promotional costs) affects the dependent variable (the amount of third party funds). Obtained R Square value of 0.583² = 0.34 X 100% = 34%. This means that the amount of third party funds is influenced by the amount of promotional costs by 34% and the remaining 66% is influenced by other variables besides promotional cost services. amount of third party funds. Due to count (2.587)> than t table (1.771), Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there is a positive relationship between the variable promotion cost and the amount of third party funds. For the purposes of interpreting the calculation results of the correlation coefficient of 0.583, the relationship is moderate or strong. Based on these results it is known that the variable X (the amount of promotion costs) has an effect of 33.89% on the amount of third party funds and the remaining 66.11% is influenced by factors other services outside the promotion fee

Abstract

Philanthropy is a concept that has been contained in Islam, which aims for good (al-birr), seeing the different social and economic levels of society, ideas or concepts of philanthropy among people. The effectiveness of philanthropy in reducing social inequality cannot be separated from the role of philanthropic institutions that manage these activities. The potential sourced is one of the alternatives for a community group to reduce the social gap from philanthropy by implementing the distribution of capital to those who cannot afford it, so that it can play a role in economic activity, as a producer in increasing income. Poverty is an interesting theme to discuss, especially among social scientists. Many studies offer solutions to alleviate poverty, but the face of poverty still exists amid the dynamics of changing times. The efforts to tackle the problem of poverty have been continuously carried out by experts throughout the ages in an effort to find the ideal form of poverty alleviation. The theme of poverty is studied not only by developing countries but also developed countries. Before getting to know scientific studies on the problem of poverty, people had carried out a tradition that responded to the problem of poverty in the form of gifts. The activity of "giving" in its various forms is not limited in the form of money or goods but also work or various efforts to ease the burden on the poor and improve their welfare is known as philanthropy. In other words, these two philanthropic models call for a better social life by paving the way for its realization through a number of economic, political, legal empowerments and so on. Abstract

The traditional fruit identification process experiences many obstacles due to human nature which has weaknesses that make the desired results ineffective. Advances in computer technology have touched the world of agriculture from a pre-harvest and post-harvest perspective. Here the problem arises how to recognize the fruit so that it fits the real conditions. The condition of the strawberry fruit is determined by the level of maturity seen from the color side of the strawberry. Farmers usually classify strawberries into ripe, medium ripe and raw categories. Image processing method has the ability to analyze maturity conditions using Red, Green, Blue (RGB) values ​​as a reference. Determination of classification using the Regionprops method which uses the value on the matrix label as a reference. The results in this study amounted to 60%. So it can be concluded that the Regionprops method can be used for the identification process of fruit.

Abstract

Manpower scheduling is the allocation of human resources at work stations according to the needs, to increase productivity the company must schedule the workforce optimally. Tea Garden Restaurant is a restaurant that produces fast food products located in Medan City. In allocating labor, the restaurant has implemented a workforce scheduling with 3 work shifts and 1 day off in 1 week. Human resources are very important to note. To accommodate 3 work shifts per day and 1 day off in 1 week, this study used a modified Tibrewala, Philippe and Browne algorithm. The algorithm modification changes and adds from 3 steps to 5 steps and changes the tabular table format of labor scheduling for three shifts. Scheduling a workforce of 6 working days and 1 day off requires a workforce of 20 people. If there is an excess of labor, it is used when there are workers who do not come to work because of illness, permission or leave. Abstract

Stroke is a disease that occurs due to blockage of the brain blood vessels or rupture of blood vessels in the brain. So that due to blockage or rupture of these blood vessels, certain parts of the brain are reduced and even the oxygen supply is cut off so that they become damaged and even die. Consulting with an expert is expensive. Sometimes sufferers are unable to consult their illness to an expert because of cost issues. In addition, it is difficult for sufferers to meet experts, especially in small areas. The few experts in the area make it even more difficult for the sufferer. Because there are few experts in the area, it requires the sufferer to seek experts in big cities. That of course requires a lot of money. The method used is the Variable-Centered Intelligent Rule System (VCIRS) method. The purpose of this research is to create an expert system that can work more than an expert and is expected to help the public to diagnose the type of stroke so that the treatment of the disease is faster and more accurate. The result of the research is an expert system application program that is able to diagnose the type of stroke. System output in the form of disease diagnosis results obtained by calculations using the Variable-Centered Intelligent Rule System (VCIRS) method and its solution.

Abstract

The company organization needs to conduct an analysis of the operational costs needed, with profit and income, the company's organizational operations will continue to run. Likewise with MSMEs which are the most developed organizations in Indonesia today. The role of MSMEs is very important in the economic sector, where MSMEs are the main pillars of economic improvement. The purpose of the UMKM is to get a profit or profit so that the operational process continues. Profit is obtained from product sales minus production costs, so determining the selling price of the product is very important. Prices that are too high will reduce consumer buying interest and prices that are too low will have an impact on profits. Therefore, MSMEs must make efforts such as analyzing the selling price of the product and controlling the costs incurred as a whole in the production process. In this case the economic technique using the Activity Based Costing method has a role in the analysis process to determine the selling price of the product. Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of zakat, infaq and alms accounting in the financial statements of the Al-Hijrah Medan Amil Zakat Institution (LAZ) and to determine the appropriateness of the application of Enterprise Thoery Islamic Accounting in these financial statements. Research Methods on the analysis of the application of Islamic accounting at the Al-Hijrah Al-Hijrah Institute (LAZ) Medan is a study that uses this type of qualitative research. This research method is a study that often refers to the use of qualitative data in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. Qualitative research is research that uses the question and answer method to obtain certain information as desired. The results of the study concluded that the accounting recording process carried out at LAZ Al - Hijrah originated from transaction evidence obtained from the activities of collecting, distributing and utilizing zakat, infaq and alms funds. LAZ Al - Hijrah uses a cash basis recording system and conducts journaling by applying double entry recording. Overall LAZ Al - Hijrah has not implemented Islamic enterprise theory accounting practices in its financial reports. Financial reports that are made are only in the form of a report on the recapitulation of fundraising and a report on the distribution of funds

Abstract

This study is to determine the level of social performance disclosure of Bank Syariah Mandiri and Bank Muamalat Indonesia 2016-2018 using the ISR Index model which includes the following six disclosure themes, namely funding and investment, products and services, labor (employees), society and environment and corporate governance. The research method used is qualitative media content analysis or Ethnographic Content Analysis / ECA, which aims to determine the level of social performance disclosure of Islamic banks in Indonesia based on the ISR Index through content analysis of the annual reports of Bank Muamalat Indonesia (BMI) and Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM). Content analysis is a systematic technique for analyzing message content and processing messages, or a tool for observing and analyzing the content of open communication behavior of selected communicators. Content analysis can be used to analyze newspapers, websites, advertisements, recorded interviews, and company annual reports. From the calculation and analysis of the ISR index in Islamic Banks, that the highest level of social performance disclosure for the 2016-2018 period is Bank Syariah Mandiri. Overall, the level of social performance disclosure of Bank Muamalat Indonesia and Bank Syariah Mandiri in the 2016-2018 period continued to increase every year. While on average in that period the predicate for the level of social performance disclosure of Bank Muamalat Indonesia and Bank Syariah Mandiri was informative

Abstract

The purposes of this study are to identify and analyze the importance of bainduak by female immigrants who come to Lubuk Sikaping area of ​​Pasaman Regency and analyze the legal effect`s position of female immigrants who bainduak in the law of adat`s marriage in Lubuk Sikaping Pasaman Regency. The method of this study uses the juridical empiric which observes about the reactions and interactions that occur when the system norms implements in society. The data are analysed by using qualitative and data are presented in descriptive approach by using inductive in conclusion. The results of this study show that: The reasons of female immigrants of Minangkabau doing bainduak in Lubuk Sikaping Pasaman Regency are: (a) "Mamak Ditingga Mamak Ditapati", (b) Obtaining adat`s protection, (c) The needs for delivering aspirations and solving problems, (d) Acknowledgment, and (e) Obtaining legal guarantees from the adat law institution in bainduak environment
