Abstract

Budi Darma University is one of the Private Universities (PTS) in the city of Medan, which is inseparable from promotional activities every year. Promotional activities carried out by Budi Darma University use a large enough cost so that the promotion carried out is also expected to get maximum results. The success of the promotion can be seen from the large number of students enrolling in the new school year. A successful promotion can be seen from the promotion strategy used, determining the promotion strategy is not an easy job because it must consider several aspects. To help determine the promotion strategy at Budi Darma University can use data mining, where data mining can find a new pattern of stored data sets. One of the techniques used in data mining is clustering technique with the algorithm used is K-Means. By using the K-Means algorithm the results are divided into 3 clusters where in each cluster the results can be seen to determine the promotion strategy

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of asset structure, profitability, liquidity, sales growth, firm size and business risk to capital structure in property and real estate firms listed on the BEI. This study uses pecking order theory and trade-off theory. The research design used is the causality to examine the effect of variables. The sampling technique used purposive sampling and yielded 22 samples for 5 periods. This study uses secondary data and data collection techniques using documentation study. Analytical technique used multiple linear regression. The obtained results are the assets structure has a significant negative effect on capital structure and liquidity has a significant negative effect on capital structure. While profitability does not have significant effect to capital structure, growth of sales does not have significant effect to capital structure, firm size does not have significant effect to capital structure and business risk does not have significant effect to capital structure

Abstract

Poverty is one of the phenomenal problems that Indonesia faces every year. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim to predict the number of poverty figures by district/city in the province of North Sumatra. The algorithm used to conduct this research is the backpropagation algorithm. This algorithm is one algorithm that is often used to make data predictions. The data used is the data of the poor population in North Sumatra in 2013-2017, which was sourced from the Central Statistics Agency of North Sumatra. Based on this data will be formed and determined the network architecture model used with the Backpropagation algorithm, including 3-9-1, 3-16-1, 3-18-1, 3-23-1, and 3-40-1. From these 5 models after training and testing, it was found that the best architectural model was 3-23-1. The accuracy rate of this architectural model is 97% with an MSE test value of 0.00359. The results of this study are in the form of predictions of the number of poverty in North Sumatra for the next 5 years. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for the regional government of North Sumatra to see the level of development of poverty in North Sumatra for the coming year.

Abstract

The development of the health and disease management technology supporting advanced as well as facilities. The purpose of this research is to know the operation process had involved the cecum to the / appendicitis the act of an anesthetic of medical staff that cause financial losses for patients in the implementation of the Act Of Law number 29 years 2004 about the practice of medicine to gain an understanding of the factors causing the an appendectomy / appendicitis with the action of an anesthetic by of medical staff that cause financial losses for patients in the implementation of the Act Of Law number 29 years 2004 about the practice of medicine . As for the methodology used an author in the juridical research methodology is normative and for scholarly activities which includes the stock taking , explained, to interprate, Systemize , and evaluate all the positive law applicable in a community or state , Based on concepts, definitions , categories , theories , clasifications , and methods formed and developed specifically to do all the activities are , that whole to prepare their activities are hoping to find a settlement to the problem of juridical law that might happen dimasyarakat in this regard to judicial decisions No. 625/PDT.G/2014/PN JKT. BRT. Abstract

The development of information systems so rapidly that it is possible to do data processing that saves time and money while still producing information that is very accurate and useful. This can support the success of a school or organization in achieving its goals. One of the data processing that needs to use a computerized system is the design of a web-based information system for the Buddhist Sunday School in the Dharma Loka Pekanbaru Temple. The design of the web-based information system of the Buddhist Sunday School in Vihara Dharma Loka has not used a lot of computer-based information systems. This school still uses a manual system, data entry still uses Microsoft Excel such as new student registration, inputting student data, teacher data, student assessment, student attendance, minutes, announcements to students and teachers, and report data. Design a web-based information system for the Buddhist Sunday School at Vihara Dharma Loka using the PHP programming language with a MySQL database. The application design is expected to make it easier to access the data of the Buddhist Sunday School at Vihara Dharma Loka and present the information quickly and more effectively and efficiently

Abstract

Poverty is a phenomenon where an individual cannot fulfill his daily needs. Health is an important aspect for every individual because health is one of the needs that play an active role in daily life. health must always be a concern for every individual. While in Indonesia the rural poverty rate continues to increase, therefore the objectives to be achieved in this study are 1) knowing the cause of the continued increase in poverty 2) knowing the importance of reducing poverty 3) explaining the importance of protecting health for each individual without having to think about costs. this type of research is qualitative, describing, and using secondary data, in analyzing the data. The results of the study show that poverty continues to increase because the population continues to increase resulting in lack of employment, poverty rates can decrease if there is a cooperation between the community and the government, the government guarantees the health of its people with providing health insurance

Abstract

Bengkulu Province is one of 34 provinces in Indonesia which has a coastline of 7 KM. Along the 7 KM beach has a range of different names, ranging from the long beach, beach file beach, tofu beach, paderi beach, and the beach of kualo. Not only that, there are still many beaches in Bengkulu because Bengkulu province is surrounded by a vast ocean. This is what attracts tourists both local and foreign. But what would be if there was one of the beaches there was a vast stretch of community trash? Will there still be many visitors who come? The large amount of rubbish that is disposed of carelessly is on the beach of the paderi tread. Various types of rubbish are found along the coast of the paderi tread. This can make visitors less interested due to too much garbage, not only that beach water can be polluted due to garbage that contains a lot of chemicals. If not handled early, the existing marine biota could die due to polluted coastal water. It is necessary to intervene from the environmental service to be able to cope with the rubbish on the beach. Abstract

Cases of violence against women often occur, for example sexual violence that arises in the community because of a lack of community understanding of acts of violence in the surrounding environtment, economic factors, wrong relationships and infidelities that occur in the house hold. This research was conducted because it has the purpose of the impact of violence against woman Qualitative research is used in orde to be descriptive and conditional and analysis. And using a data accumulation system wit a library that is a way to accumulate data from books, online media or other sources, so the research data is taken using secondary data. So that research data is not taken directly from the source or respondent. Data analysis techniques utilize documents as research data by analyzing the contents of documents in order to find characteristics and draw conclusions. The results of the psychological impact of sexual violence caused the victim to become traumatized and depressed, resulting in victims of sexual violence feeling ostracized and wanting to avoid the circumstances they experienced. Then the efforts undertaken as a form of overcoming the psychological impact of sexual violence on women include developing a sense of environmental awareness, responsibility for themselves, moral education, and supervision. Whatever the efforts of the government that is rehabilitating victims of sexual violence, operations and raids in places where crime is often committed, provide insight to schools and surrounding communities. With these efforts can prevent violence against women.

Abstract

Violence of sexual harassment against women is one of the serious problems faced in Indonesia. Therefore protection is needed for women who have been victims of human rights violations, namely women's rights, especially victims of sexual harassment. Sexual harassment is anything that forces sexual intercourse or intimacy or does any other action that is unwanted by the victim and is done forcefully on the victim. This action can affect psychological health, physical injury, and trauma to victims of sexual harassment. The purpose of this study is 1) to find out all the phenomena that occur in Indonesia against female harassment 2) To obtain solutions to cases of protection against female harassment in Indonesia. Abstract

Indonesian is the language of Malay which is used as the official language of the Republic of Indonesia and the language of the unity of the Indonesian nation. The Indonesian language was inaugurated after the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence, to be precise the day after, at the same time as the enactment of the constitution. Indonesian as the language of unity and the language of the State in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia has a very dominant function in all aspects of social life. An acronym is an abbreviation in the form of a combination of letters or syllables or other parts that are written and pronounced as normal words. Acronyms, also called abbreviations, are short for a term which can be a combination of prefixed terms. Thus, an acronym stands for a term or name that is pronounced as a single word. Indonesian acronyms have a very large number of words, in general currently Indonesian acronyms are still in printed book form. The problem that is often faced by acronym dictionary users in the form of printed books is the difficulty in obtaining search results for Indonesian acronym words quickly and precisely because it must be done by opening each sheet of the book to find the acronym word being searched for. To overcome the problems described above, in this study the authors designed an Android-based Indonesian acronym application. In order to make it easier to get search results on the designed Indonesian acronym application, the authors apply the Raita algorithm in the search feature. The Raita algorithm is part of the exact string matching algorithm, which is the matching of strings precisely to the arrangement of characters in the matched string which has the same number and sequence of characters in the string. Raita designed an algorithm by comparing the last character of the pattern starting from the rightmost character from the "window".
