Abstract

Background: Indonesia has a large land and sea area that has the potential for salt production. Efforts to increase salt production are still not optimal because there are still several areas that produce salt products in small quantities even though they have a large land area and a large number of farmers, so for areas like this, it is necessary to carry out guidance so that they can increase the amount of salt production. So far, no system has been used to group salt-producing regions, so it is impossible to know which areas still have the potential to increase their production. Objective: This research aims to create an application system to classify salt-producing regions. Methods: The clustering method used is K-Means, where this method can group datasets into several predetermined clusters. Result: The results of application testing carried out using 10 salt-producing region datasets obtained 4 regions with small production volume clusters, 3 regions with sufficient production volume clusters, 3 regions with large production volume clusters. Conclusion: The application of grouping salt-producing areas using the K-Means method can help the process of grouping salt-producing regions easier, faster, and more objectively.

Abstract

Background: The tropical climate that Indonesia has, with the sun shining all year round, is the advantage of Indonesia being on the equator. This tropical climate causes thousands of types of flora and fauna to grow beautifully and thrive in Indonesia as well as plants that can be cultivated, such as vegetables. It is not wrong if, at this time, vegetable plants are the target of flora hobbyists. Currently, several types of vegetable crops can be developed using the hydroponic or vertical garden method so that they can generate income even on limited land. This reason has made many flora lovers develop vertical gardens en masse or for hobby purposes. The problems that are often faced by these hobbies include the maintenance process and even delays in providing nutrients to the planting medium. Objective: The researchers designed a smart farming system for hydroponic plants based on the Internet of Things (IoT) to facilitate the maintenance of vertical garden plants. Methods: The method used in this research was fuzzy logic and the Internet of things.Result: The results of system testing found that the average deviation of the TDS sensor was 3.229% and that of the Ph meter sensor was 4.081%. Using a smart hydroponic system can increase the growth of mustard plants by 1.775%.Conclusion: IoT-based smart farming systems for hydroponic plants have been successfully developed.

Abstract

Background: Lombok is one of the tourist destinations in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province, which has various kinds of tourist destinations. Before the Covid 19 pandemic, the number of tourist visits to NTB, especially the island of Lombok, increased every year. Objective: This study aimed to implement the haversine algorithm in finding and determining the closest route to tourist destinations on Lombok Island to make it easier for tourists to choose their intended location to make the tourism sector grow again after the impact of covid 19.Methods: Geolocation concept with harvesine algorithm formula.Result: The research results are the output of the Mapbox api implementation application in the form of a geographical map of the island of Lombok by displaying spatial data of tourism locations, as well as the paths traversed to reach the intended tourist sites accompanied by the distance and time needed to reach them. The level of user satisfaction with the applications built is 87,62%.Conclusion: This research results in user satisfaction in finding information, location, and paths that can be reached to tourist sites.

Abstract

Background: Website troubleshooting is the process of identifying, analyzing, and solving a website’s problems. The problem in this study is the lack of information and the length of time in knowing the website damage, so users have difficulty troubleshooting. Objective: The purpose of the research is to create an expert system that can be used to diagnose website damage and is easily accessible. Methods: The method used in this research was the Dempster-Shafer method, which is a method of proof based on the belief function and plausible reasoning in combining evidence to calculate the probability of damage to the website. Result: The results of this study were an expert system for diagnosing website crashes which had 15 symptoms and 5 crashes. The developed system showed an accuracy value of 84% with a trial run of 25 cases. Conclusion: The resulting expert system can be used to diagnose website damage based on symptoms with a good degree of accuracy.

Abstract

Background : Data access using copper is considered slower than Fiber Optic access networks, which encourages many customers who switch to Fiber Optic. Objective : This study aims to analyze the installation of Fiber Optic networks using Optic System Software in new areas and analyze attenuation in Fiber Optic networks using Link power budget. Method : The method used in this study is PPDIOO : Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, and Optimize. Results : The Optical Power Meter (OPM) simulation on the new ODP using Opti System produces a value of receiving power (Pr) -19.48 dBm (as a sample) and for the calculation results using the Power Link Budget (PLB) the total value of receiving Power (Pr) -20.40 dBm while Measurement results using Optical Power Meter (OPM) (Pr) -19.89 dBm (as a sample). Conclusion : The results of measurements and measurements have similarities, namely if the distance between the Optical Distribution Cabinet (ODC) and Optical Distribution Point (ODP) is greater, the greater the value of the receiving power or attenuation.

Abstract

The development of computer technology is increasing very rapidly. This has both positive and negative impacts. One of the negative impact is committing acts of cyberbullying. This study uses the ACPO method to investigate the cyberbullying crimes through evidence that will be found. The ACPO method in the Imo Messenger investigation has four stages, namely Plan, Capture, Analysis, and Present. Digital data in the form of 16 conversation text, 29 user ID, 6 deleted data, and a group used as parameters in the research process. The test was performed using the tool of MOBILEdit Forensic Express. The results based on the digital data obtained 100% of conversation text, user ID, and group, while 0% for deleted data.
