Jurnal Natural Science ini memuat artikel yang membahas aspek pendidikan Fisika, metode, model pembelajaran IPA Fisika, inovasi-inovasi pembelajaran, perangkat pembelajaran, dan aspek fisika murni. Tim redaksi menerima artikel ilmiah dari hasil penelitian, laporan studikasus, kajian dan tinjauan pustaka. Terbitnya jurnal pendidikan ini menjadikan suatu indikator bahwa prodi Tadris IPA Fisika sangat peduli terhadap perkembangan dan inovasi-inovasi pada bidang sains terutama pendidikan Fisika. Selain itu adanya Jurnal Natural Science menunjukkan bahwa para dosen Tadris IPA Fisika sudah membudayakan meneliti dan mempublikasikan hasil penelitian. Jurnal studi pendidikan fisika juga mengajak pihak lain berpartisipasi dalam penerbitan jurnal baik universitas local maupun tingkat nasional dan bahkan internasional. Abstract

Physics is one branch of Natural Sciences (IPA) that underlies the development of science and technology. The main purpose of studying physics is to understand the natural phenomena of seeking natural knowledge (law) (Trustho, 2008: 5). Natural Science (IPA) and technology are two things that are related to each other. This study aims to: 1) Produce a multimedia-based physics learning media presentation (prezi) valid, practical, and effective. This research is a development research using research and development (R&D) method developed by Borg and Gall. The result of data analysis obtained the validation value of multimedia prezi 86.5 category is very valid. The value of prehearsal multimedia practice by IPA educators 86.6 categories is very practical. The value of practicality by learners for small-scale test 81.1 and large-scale test 88.2 categories is very practical. The effectiveness test obtained results 88.4 categories are very effective. This shows that multimedia-based physics-based teaching media (prezi) can be used as a medium of learning in SMP / MTs.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan essay assessment berbasis Creative Problm Solving (CPS) menggunakan 4-D model. Tahap-tahap dalam 4-D model terdiri dari define, desain, development dan disseminate. Hasil analisis dari tahap definemenyataan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik di SMAN 7 Padang masih rendah dan diperlukan pengembangan lembar essay assessment berbasis creative problem solving. Langkah selanjutnya yang dilakukan adalah tahap design (perancangan). Perancangan lembar essay assessment dimulai dengan penyusunan standar tes, pemilihan media, pemilihan format, membuat rancangan awal.Perancangan dilakukan untuk mendapatkan landasan dan kesesuian pengembangan essay assessment dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik peserta didik. Essay assessment dirancang memuat langkah-langkah model pembelajaran creative problem solving untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik.Penelitian yang dilakukan termasuk jenis penelitiandeskriptif kualitatif, yang mendeskripsikan rancangan essay assessment berbasis creative problem solving untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif.Rancangan lembar essay assessment berbasis creative problem solving terdiri dari: cover, kata pengantar, daftar isi, identitas, petunjuk,  tujuan pembelajaran, Tahap kegiatan pada lembar essay assessment disesuaikan dengan tahap-tahap creative problem solving dan memperhatikan karakteristik asesmen autentik. format penilaian, selain itu essay assessment juga dilengkapi dengan RPP dan Penilaian yang berbasis CPS.

Abstract

This research is based on the development of science and technology in a more rapid expansion. Educators are required to provide a medium that helps learners find their own learning experience in improving their learning interests, one of the media that is Macromedia Flash Pro 8. This type of research development or Research and Development (R & D) model 4-D models by Thiagarajan and Sammel. Instruments used are questionnaire validity, questionnaire of practicality, and questionnaire effectiveness. The results of research are: (1) generated learning media of physics form of CD based on Macromedia Flash Pro 8 animation on wave material related to verses of Al-Quran in class XI department of MIA. (2) the value of product validity based on the assessment of eleven experts with an average rating of all aspects of 89.96% with very valid category. The value of product practicability according to 2 educators and 31 students of class XI MIA 4 in MAN 1 Durian Tarung Padang very practical with the average value of 86% and 87% respectively. Results of product effectiveness on the interest of learning 31 students with an average value of 86% category is very effective to increase interest in physics learners learners.

Abstract

Perkiraan meningkatnya permintaan dunia terhadap komoditi karet dimasa yang akan datang menjadi latar belakang utama penelitian ini. Seiring dengan hal itu, maka upaya peningkatan kualitas dan kuantitas hasil produksi karet juga menjadi hal perlu diperhatikan. Untuk mendukung upaya tersebut, perlu dilakukan penelitian tentang kondisi tanah yang menjadi tempat tumbuh dan berkembangnya tanamannkaret. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan ukuran bulir dan jenis domain magnetik dari tanah subur dan kurang subur pada perkebunan karet daerah Rimbo Bujang, Kabupaten Tebo, Jambi. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 34 sampel tanah perkebunan karet dan sawit. Adapun sampel terdiri dari 24 sampel yang diambil dari lokasi Karet Subur, 10 sampel dari lokasi Karet Kurang Subur pada perkebunan karet daerah Rimbo Bujang, Kabupaten Tebo, Jambi. Ukuran bulir dan jenis domain magnetik ditentukan dengan metoda kemagnetan batuan melalui pengukuran Anhysteretic Remanent Magnetization (ARM). Sampel dimagnetisasi dengan alat pARM (Partial Anhysteretic Remanent Magnetization), kemudian magnetisasi sampel diluruhkan dengan menggunakan Molspin AF Demagnetization. Untuk mengukur intensitas magnetisasi dari sampel digunakan Minispin Magnetometer. Setelah dilakukan plot hubungan antara medan H dengan nilai intensitas relatif, didapatkan hasil bahwa sampel tanah karet subur mempunyai ukuran bulir magnetik 6 sampai 20  yang tergolong kepada jenis domain pseudo single domain (PSD), sedangkan untuk sampel tanah karet kurang subur berkisar 110 sampai 135  yang tergolong pada jenis domain multi domain (MD).

Abstract

Physics has an abstract concept and is not easily attributed to everyday events in human life, making it difficult to imagine. If the physical phenomenon being discussed has ever been experienced by learners may learners will be able to reconstruct it back into a better understanding and vice versa. Efforts to overcome every problem in physics learning along with changes in educational communication technology in the form of utilization of learning media using a computer one of them using software swish max 4.0. The purpose of this research is to develop physics learning multimedia using swish max 4.0 on class VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah materi cahaya  that is valid, practical and effective. The benefits of physics learning multimedia developed is as a medium of learning for educators in delivering related material, and can help in creating a fun learning atmosphere and increase learning interests of learners. Research and development using 4-D model, starting from define, design, development and disseminate. Test the validity of multimedia physics learning using validity questionnaires, practicality test using questionnaire of practice and effectiveness test using effectiveness questionnaire. The results showed that physics learning using swish max 4.0 in materi cahaya class  VIII MTsN Durian Tarung Padang very valid, very practical and effective.

Abstract

This research The problem inthis research is how the understanding of the concept of students in learning physiscs class VIII SMPN 2 Sintuk Toboh Gadang by applying advance organizer learning models. As for the purpose to be achieved in this research is : 1) to find out how to comprehed the concept of students in learning physiscs using advance organizer learning models. 2) to know the learning activities of students with advance organizer learning models. This research is quantitative research through quasi experiment method with post-test design only control group design. Population in this study were students of class VIII Junior Hight School 2 Sintuk Toboh Gadang, Padang Pariaman City. Determination of sample by rondom sampling technique with class VIII.1 as experiment class and class VIII.3 as control class which each have 35 students. Data collection techniques using tests. The validity used is the correlation of the person showing the instrument is valid. Before the data analysis, first tested normality and homogeneity test and data analysis techniques used are test-t.The results of this study indicate a difference understanding of the concept of class VIII students in Junior Hight School 2 Sintuk Toboh Gadang using advance organizer learning models compared with the direct model. The difference is indicated by t-test results with the help of SPSS 20. T-test score shows the number 4,125 tith df = 68 then t tabel = 2,142 then t arithmetic of t tabel and sig value 0.000 < 0.05 which proves that experiment class learning is better than control class learning.

Abstract

Fisika merupakan salah satu ilmu alam yang penting untuk dipelajari. Agar fisika lebih mudah dipahami oleh siswa maka diperlukan media pembelajaran fisika yang cocok dengan materi yang akan dibahas dan juga melalui praktikum. Media pembelajaran fisika berupa alat peraga dapat dirancang dengan memanfaatkaan arduino sebagai pemrosesnya. Bagian penting pada arduino yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam perancangan media pembelajaran fisika adalah timer, counter, interupsi timer dan ADC. Dengan timer dan interupsi timer dapat dirancang timer digital yang membatu dapat menjelaskan materi yang berhubungan dengan gerak. Dengan memanfaatkan adc 10 bit dari arduino ditambah dengan sensor sensor digital maka akan dihasilkan alat alat ukur digital yang otomatis dan menunjang dalam media pembelajaran fisika berupa praktikum nantinya.

Abstract

Student worksheets (SWS) is one of the teaching materials that can activate learners, help find the concept and make it easier to understand the subject matter. Based on the results of observation obtained information that the teacher used the teaching materials of printed books and gita but not yet the availability of teaching materials that already contain learning steps in accordance with K-13. In response to these conditions developed teaching materials in the form of  SWS Based Guided Inquiry. The purpose of this study is the production of teaching materials in the form of SWS Based Guided Inquiry on Momentum, Impulse and Collision materials  valid, practical, and effective. This study was conducted 4-D model, define, design, develop, and disseminate. SWS Validity Test obtained value 90 % with very valid category. Practicality by 6 learner was obtained by value 89.02% with very practical category, practice by 20 learner was obtained by value 86.02% with very practical category and by teacher obtained result 89.16 % with very practical category. The effectiveness obtained result with value 92.22% with very effective category. Based on research  obtained  conclusion of SWS based guided inquiry on the material of mementum, impulse and collision valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a product of physics instructinal media based on mobile learning on the subject matter of elasticity for the students of class XI Madrasah Aliyah which is valid, practical, and effective to use in learning physic. This research is a development research 4D’s model (Define, Design, Develop, Desseminate). This product have been valued by ( 1 language expert, 2 physics material expert, 2 media expert) for validity test,( 4 physics theachers of MAN 2 Padang and 36 students) for practical test and 109 students for effectiveness test. The Instrument of this research is form of a questionnaire check list. The results showed that the physics instructional media based on mobile learning is very valid with an average 92,59,  very practical based on 4 physics theachers and 36 students of class XI MAN 2 Padang with an average 87,08 and 83,02, and effectively used based on 109 students of class XI MAN 2 Padang with an average 77,01. Based on the findings, it may be concluded that the physics instructional media based on mobile learninng with an adobe flash cs 6 is very valid,very practical, and effective used in physics learning of class XI MAN 2 Padang.
