Abstract

The objective of this article are to describe: 1) The Effectiveness of Intensive daily conversation toward Student Speaking Skills at the Second Semester Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidenreng Rappang. 2) Students’ interested in using Intensive Daily Conversation to improve the speaking skill at the Second Semester Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidenreng Rappang. This article is besed on research result employed quantitavive method with used clusster sampling. The population of this research is the second semester; exactly the second semester of Muhammadiyah University of Sidenreng Rappang. The total number of population is 114 students. The samples in this research is from 2A1 consist 37 students. So the total sample of the research is 24 students. The data of the research were collected by using two kinds of instrument, namely speaking test and questionnaire. Speaking test is used to obtain data of the students’ speaking ability and questionnaire is used know the students interest in speaking English through Intensive Daily Conversation. The result of data analysis showed that three is significant difference between the students’ score after they were taught by Intensive Daily Conversation and before they were taught by using Intensive Daily Conversation. It is proved by the mean score of the post-test which is higher than the mean score of pre-test (69.5>32.29). Furthermore, the result of the t-test value (0.0005) is greater than t-table (α = 0.05; df = 11; t-table 1.701) which means that H1 is accepted.

Abstract

This research aims to find out Causing Gentlemanly Behaviour in In Junior High School At Pondok Pesantren Al-Urwatul Wutsqaa Benteng. Type of this research is a case study. This research was carried out from April to August 2020. The Subject of this research were students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pondok Pesantren Al-Urwatul Wutsqaa Benteng, consist of 20 students. The sample from schools which at eight grade students. Methode of collection data was questionnaire and interview. Data analysis techniques were Sequential-parts of the study by Starovoytova and Namango with help of the program google form. The result show that: the researcher finds two factors that Causing Gentlemanly Behaviour in In Junior High School At Pondok Pesantren Al-Urwatul Wutsqaa Benteng. They are external factors and internal factors.The first category is a external factors. Out of 4 factors listed being Causing Gentlemanly Behaviour in In Junior High School At Pondok Pesantren Al-Urwatul Wutsqaa Benteng, they are The influence of ICT, Modernization of the culture, Lack of habituation manners at home, and Teacher factors. The second category is an internal factors. In this category, out of 8 factors listed being the reason that affects the students causing the loss of gentlemanly behavior in the school environment. They are the position of the social higher than the teacher, economic position is better than the teacher, students are more familiar with the material being taught, the descendants or tribe, gender, personality, talent, and love problem.

Abstract

The Studenst of the Public Administration Department need to have a comprehensible English skill to be able to understand a simple English passages especially those which are related to the Public Administration field. Due to this reason, a good instructional material is absolutely needed to teach English in the Public Administration Department. This research belongs to the Research and Development (RnD) and the model used in this research is ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). The researcher presented four main problems. The first problem was what are the target needs of the students of Public Administration, the second problem is what are the learning needs of the students of Public Administration, the third is what type of syllabus that is most suitable to meet the ESP course at Public Administration Department, and the last is what kind of ESP instructional material that should be taught for students of Public Administration. The first and the second problems were solved by the use of questinnaire and the interview.The population of this research consists of 310 Public Administration students, 10 English lecturer and graduates of Public Administration. The sample of this research consists of 25 students, one lecrturer and one graduates. The data from the respondens then analyzed by the researcher to identify the needs analysis of the students to meet their fit instructional material. In order to design the instructional material, ADDIE model is used. The syllabus is designed first then developed into instructional material. The syllabus and instructional material has been validated by the expert lecturer. Finally, the findings of this research can be used by the other researchers to develop an instructional material, especially those who concern with implementing and evaluating instructional material.

Abstract

The Use of Speech Actions in Indonesian Language Learning Interaction for Students Class X of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Baubau". Data collection techniques in this study were recording techniques and note-taking techniques. The recording technique is the collection of data by recording the use of spoken language that is spontaneous, while the note-taking technique is the acquisition of relevant data by recording data following the goals and objectives of the study. The steps that the researchers took to obtain the data were to directly observe the situation in the field then chat or invite discussions but secretly recorded the conversation process between students regarding speech acts and then linked it to the appearance of their manners. Based on the results of the above research, speech acts in Indonesian Language Learning Interaction Class X Muhammadiyah 1 Baubau Senior High School. Students who spoke of Lokusi's speech acts were 001 (Adianti Said), 011 (Irawati), 013 (Yuyun Duwila), and 014 (Aliyono). Furthermore, the students who spoke of Illocutionary speech acts were 012 (Alifman), 014 (Aliyono), and 016 (Fitriana Risul). And the students who spoke of Perlocusi's speech acts were: 001 (Adianti Said), 007 (Murniwati), 012 (Alifman), and 019 (Yoki Atmajaya). Meanwhile, based on the results of the above research, the teacher's speech actions in the private learning interaction of Indonesian language class X SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Baubau, namely teacher respondents: there are 2 speech acts locus and speech acts of illocution are 2 while the speech acts of perlocution are 1.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education will be achieved if the teaching and learning process by the teacher held in the classroom is truly effective and useful for achieving the expected knowledge, attitudes and skills. Because basically the teaching and learning process is the core of the overall education process, while the teaching and learning process is carried out in many formal activities in the classroom where the teacher is one of the important factors in determining the success of the teaching and learning process in the classroom. Therefore teachers are required to be able to improve their roles and competencies, competent teachers will be more able to create an effective learning environment and will be more capable of Classroom Action Management so that student learning outcomes are at an optimal level. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of classroom action management on Indonesian learning outcomes, the subject of story listening skills in SD Negeri 1 Kaobula. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive which is used as a research design that clearly and clearly describes the research variables in the form of numbers and statistics. The population of this research is this research is the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Kaobula which consists of 24 students. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that the influence between the X variable (classroom action management) and the Y variable (Civics learning outcomes) has a strong influence between the two variables. If we look at the amount of rxy obtained, namely: 0, 620 it turns out to be between 0.40. 0.60. It can be stated that the correlation between variable X and variable Y is a relatively strong influence. Thus, the authors can simply give an interpretation of the rxy, namely that there is a significant positive effect between variable X and variable Y. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of Islamic education in Kemuhamadiyahan in shaping the character of students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Baubau. This research uses a qualitative method. Namely, research that goes to the place of research directly to make observations about a phenomenon in a scientific situation. Following the theme that the researcher discussed and the type of research used was field research. Collecting data using interviews, documentation, and observation. The results showed that: 1) implementation of al-Islamic education Kemuhamadiyahan in shaping character at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Baubau is applied in learning with habituation and giving examples and inculcating character values in students through learning materials, methods, and evaluation in learning. 2) There are several character-building implementations, there are several obstacles and solutions offered. The barrier is the lack of intensity in providing direction and habituation which still has weaknesses. The solution offered is the need for collaboration with parents or guardians in intense supervision and habituation. 3) The results of the implementation of al-Islamic Kemuhamadiyahan education in shaping character, namely building and shaping the attitudes and morals of students. So that students have an attitude of respect and appreciation. Fostering the religious level and motivation to worship students. So that students have the intellectual, emotional, and spiritual intelligence of students to develop properly.

Abstract

                The territory of the Republic of Indonesia is very wide covering many large and small islands, so it is not possible if everything will be managed entirely by the Government which is domiciled in the State Capital, to manage the administration of state government to all corners of the country, it is necessary to form a regional government. Local governments and village governments have shifted from a centralized system of government to a decentralized one so that providing services to the public is closer and can be done optimally. This implementation brings a lot of hope to the improvement, management, and quality of local performance. This study aims to examine the role of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in the Village Government and what factors hinder the role of the Village Consultative Body (BPD) in the Village Government in Karang Jaya Village. This research is a descriptive type of research, namely a study that describes the phenomena of a BPD cooperation management with the village head, thus the approach used is the normative approach. The results show that the BPD in Karang Jaya village has not been able to carry out its role optimally because the human resources of BPD members are still low, especially in the education sector so that in carrying out its roles and functions the BPD does not understand what to do concerning the control and supervisory functions. becomes its authority in controlling and supervising the performance of the Village Government / Village Head.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penejalasan dari epistemology Marxisme Ortodoks. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian jenis historis dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Jenis data penelitian ini adalah sekunder dengan teknik pengumpulan data Studi Pustaka mengenai penjelasan sejarah perkambangan Marxisme hingga penjelasan Marxisme Ortodoks serta analisis data penelitian ini mereduksi data hingga memverifikasi data menjadi sebuah kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian Studi Pustaka Epistemologi Marxisme Ortodoks adalah ideologi yang menjelaskan bahwa menuju jalan revolusi dengan mencampurkan pemahaman sosialisme dan demokrasi maka dari itu Marxisme Ortodoks tidak membuat gagasan partai tunggal atas nama massa. Konsepsinya demokrasi dalam Marxisme Ortodoks didasarkan pada hubungan bebas dalam memproduksi. Marxisme Ortodoks memberikan prioritaskan setiap individu dan menekan kan relasi sosial yang tidak manusiawi dengan mengangkat segi ekonomi sehingga masyarakat yang masih berkembang untuk tujuan mereka yang akan menjadi sasaran kemajuan. Marxisme Ortodoks juga menjelaskan kebijakan jalan parlementer dan atas dasar hak pilih umum harus ditempuh. Marxisme Ortodoks juga cita – cita masyarakat sosial yang baru dengan metode pembangunan material teknologi adalah bagian utama perubahan daam structural masyarakat. tetapi Marxisme Ortodoks dalam pemikiran mereka tetap dianggap sebagai ideologi varian kiri dari tradisi yang terbaru.

Abstract

The method of this research was descriptive method. The population of this research consisted of Senior High School Students in 2014/2015 academic year. It used random sampling technique where the writer took one class of the second-year students which consisted of 33 students. The data were collected through questionnaires. The data analyzed using Likert Scale. The result of data analysis showed that the second-year students at SMA Negeri 1 Anggeraja shows their high interest in learning English through classroom management. The use of classroom management to learn English gave many benefits to the students, such as; (1) they felt relax, more serious and active in the class, they had a high initiative and strong enthusiastic in learning, (2) create friendly and cooperate atmosphere for language learning, (3) attract the attention of the students and willing to learn, (4) and create a strong motivation to learn. It was proven by the result of the mean score of the students’ questionnaire namely 87 which mean that the majority of the students agreed with the positive statements and disagreed with the negative ones about the use of classroom management in learn English.

Abstract

The existence of education is a profession in the world of education that processes learning by teachers, especially PAI teachers who direct the understanding of the learning to students or students in an effort to educate, invite, call upon, and deliver the nation's citizens to a happy life path, both the benefits of life in the world and in the hereafter. The urgency of moral development has a relationship with the existence of teachers as educators in schools. The moral development of students through the professionalism of teachers, there must be demands to guide students in the development of understanding related to Islamic teachings, calling for goodness and forbidding from evil so that students will realize goodness as productive human beings. This research uses descriptive qualitative research, with data collection methods namely observation, interviews, and documentation data collection at the research location, with the object of research being the Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) Bina Ummat Buru by determining informants who come from teachers and participants. educate. The main problem of this research is the teacher's role in fostering the morals of students at SDIT Bina Ummat Buru. The results of this study indicate that the moral development of students cannot be separated from the role of SDIT Bina Ummat teachers in the coaching process. While the supporting and inhibiting factors for the moral development of SDIT Bina Ummat Buru students are more dominant supporting factors that facilitate the process of fostering the morals of students, compared to the inhibiting factors which can be said to be non-existent. The moral development program implemented by the school in terms of worshiping Allah SWT, and following the example of the sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, establishing good relations between fellow human beings, and implementing programs to improve the quality of Islamic education through learning, all of which have become a culture of habituation in character or attitude. and actions of students at SDIT Bina Ummat Buru.
