Jurnal TUNAS adalah jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh LPPM STIKOM Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar yang Tujuan dari publikasi jurnal ini adalah untuk menyebarluaskan pemikiran konseptual atau ide dan hasil penelitian yang telah dicapai di bidang pengabdian masyarakat. Jurnal TUNAS: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat, berisi berbagai kegiatan dalam menangani dan mengelola berbagai potensi, hambatan, tantangan, dan masalah yang ada di masyarakat. Implementasi kegiatan layanan juga melibatkan partisipasi masyarakat dan mitra. Kegiatan pelayanan diorganisasikan menjadi kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Silakan baca panduan ini dengan seksama. Penulis yang ingin menyerahkan naskah mereka ke redaksi Jurna TUNAS: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat harus mematuhi pedoman penulisan. Jika naskah yang dikirimkan tidak sesuai dengan pedoman atau ditulis dalam format yang berbeda, naskah tersebut akan DITOLAK oleh editor sebelum ditinjau lebih lanjut. Para editor hanya akan menerima naskah yang memenuhi format yang ditugaskan. Jurnal TUNAS terbit 2 kali setahun. Abstract

The community service program "Advancing the Young Generation Through Robotics Community Service in the Siantar 1 State Vocational School Students Environment for Future Technological Challenges” aims to prepare future generations to face the complexities of modern technology. The focus of the program is to introduce robotics to SMK students through a community-based approach. Through this program, students will be involved in robotics learning, including programming, design, construction, and robotics applications. Practical training and activities will develop students' creativity, problem-solving and collaboration skills, essential preparation in the world of technology. Collaboration with teachers, parents and local communities is also emphasized, creating a comprehensive educational ecosystem. This program brings together formal and informal approaches to immersive learning experiences. This program has the potential to prepare young people to face a dynamic technological era. The focus on introducing robotics and community engagement is not only about technology, but also inspiring students to reach their full potential in facing the challenges of tomorrow. As such, the program plays an important role in shaping the direction of education towards the continuous development of technology.

Abstract

According to the findings of field observations, the ability of teachers in class IV of SDN 39 Cakranegara to design posters is still insufficient. Teachers do not grasp how to create visually appealing posters. Observing posters in student books without practising them is the only way to learn to make posters. Poster design instruction has also never been provided. This issue must be addressed as soon as possible, and one way to do so is through this project. This projects aims to provide information on how to create effective educational posters. This activity was carried out through mentorship approaches such as (1) presentation from expert and (2) training workshops and practices in producing educational posters using sticky dummy. By the end of the activity, participants are expected to gain a wide understanding of educational posters as well as the skills to design effective posters.

Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) was carried out at the Yapinuh Muara Gembong Private Vocational High School (SMKS) in the form of training for teachers and administrative staff on the use of google data studio to visualize data at SMKS Yapinuh online. Currently, the data in SMKS Yapinuh is still stored on computer devices owned by SMKS Yapinuh, but the data has not been able to provide information to school residents and the community directly. If school residents or the community want to get information related to data at SMKS Yapinuh, they must go through staff first because of their limited access rights. The existing data is also still in the form of raw data and the data display is less attractive. Therefore, a medium is needed that can overcome this. In this service, we will provide a solution by utilizing Google Data Studio to visualize data to make it more interesting so that it can be displayed on the SMKS Yapinuh website. The training method is carried out in a hybrid manner (online and offline) using Google Data Studio media as data visualization software. This Community Service Program (PkM) will focus on teachers and staff at SMKS Yapinuh. This PKM program will be guided directly by the service program proposal team. This PkM program aims to produce good quality information services by utilizing the application. So that SMK Yapinuh can be helped in the process of visualizing data and displaying it online.

Abstract

The Socialization Activity of New Paradigm Learning in the Merdeka Curriculum through the Profile of Strengthening Pancasila for Teachers of SD Negeri 122391 Pematangsiantar aims to provide solutions to problems faced by partners, namely the lack of understanding regarding the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, especially in designing and compiling Merdeka Curriculum teaching tools at the school level. elementary (SD). The activity was carried out in three stages, namely first 'training/exposing the concept of the Merdeka curriculum for elementary schools which includes a presentation on the design of play activities with reference to Learning Achievements (CP); Explanation of the development of learning pathways and objectives in basic education units based on unit characteristics, children's needs and interests, surrounding environmental conditions, and their relationship to learning outcomes, so that the learning pathways and objectives between each unit can be different; Explanation of developing teaching modules according to students' learning needs. Second, assistance in making learning concept maps for basic education, and third, practice in implementing teaching tools in front of colleagues. The output of this service activity is in the form of increasing understanding of the concepts and methods of implementing the Independent Curriculum for elementary school level. The teachers were very enthusiastic about participating in the training, they responded that with this training they could implement the Merdeka curriculum in their respective schools

Abstract

UTBK is a computer-based exam held several times a year whose scores can be used in the SBMPTN. At UTBK you are only allowed to take the test a maximum of 2 times, if after taking UTBK 2 times, participants can use the highest score between the 2 UTBK scores they have to register at PTN. UTBK consists of a Scholastic Potential Test (TPS) and an Academic Competency Test (TKA) where the test consists of a Science and Technology exam group and a Social and Humanitarian exam group which are designed to predict participants being able to complete their studies at higher education. A Decision Support System (DSS) is a computer-based system that can support decision making to solve semi-structured problems by utilizing existing data. Then it is processed into information in the form of suggestions, leading to a certain decision.

Abstract

Accounting is a systematic process for producing financial information that can be used for decision making for its users. Like the Pancur Agro Makmur Producer Cooperative, Semarang City, accounting is needed in the process of recording and reporting its operational activities. Accounting will provide several benefits for cooperatives, including: (1) Cooperatives can find out the company's financial performance, (2) Cooperatives can know the position of funds, both sources and uses, (3) Cooperatives can make appropriate budgets, (4) Cooperatives can calculate taxes, and (5) Cooperatives can find out cash flows during a certain period. The main obstacle faced is that cooperatives find it difficult to use accounting in their business activities. There is currently no literature currently circulating that focuses on cooperative financial management. Another obstacle is that there are many transactions that occur in Cooperatives such as bartering/exchanging services but examples are not provided in the books so that when these transactions occur, the Cooperative prefers not to record them.

Abstract

There is a need for supervision to be regulated in such a way as to anticipate the various opportunities for potential election legal problems to occur in the election implementation process. Bawaslu as a supervisory institution for the implementation of elections. At the peak stage of the 2024 election, namely the voting and counting of votes at the TPS, there are Polling Place Supervisors (PTPS), part of the lower level Bawaslu structure, who are the flagship of Bawaslu to make the election a success. PTPS is obliged to understand its duties, obligations and authority in carrying out its duties, because it plays a direct role in the field in the election process as the front guard. The functions of PTPS are: First, PTPS's function during elections at TPS is to supervise voting preparations. Second, all voting activities are supervised by PTPS so that they run smoothly according to the provisions. Third, oversee preparations for vote counting. Finally, supervise the implementation of the vote count until the results of the movement of the vote count from the TPS to the PPK. Based on the phenomena that occurred in the field during the General Election on February 14 2024, the HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar university service team disseminated the results of the implementation of PTPS duties and responsibilities in the Asuhan sub-district, Pematangsiantar City to the entire community and residents of the Asuhan sub-district, resulting in an open insight in the Asuhan sub-district community, as many as 83% understood. implementation of simultaneous regional elections that occurred in Indonesia, especially in the city of Pematangsiantar.

Abstract

The aim of this service activity is to educate and increase the understanding of MSME actors regarding the importance of accounting knowledge in preparing financial reports and bookkeeping in a business. This service is carried out because many MSMEs only make financial reports conventionally and do not record them regularly. With limited accounting knowledge, accounting processes that are considered complicated, and the perception that structured financial reports are not important for MSME players, the effort to record bookkeeping becomes a big problem for MSME players. The service activity is in collaboration with two MSME partners in the trade sector, namely the Clontong Shop. The problem-solving method begins with interviews, carrying out activities, and evaluating. The assistance medium used is the Kwarto Kas Book. The results of the service show that each partner has a basic understanding of the process of recording transactions, making financial reports, and making transaction input for cash receipts and disbursements.

Abstract

Modelling Audition Information System is a system used to manage the process of auditioning or selecting potential models in the modelling industry. This system helps collect, store, manage, and process information related to auditions and model selection to make the process more efficient and organized. The information system is used for participant registration and conducting judging. This Information System is a form of community service implementation for the FKBN TMI Jatim Kediri Subdistrict Audition in 2023. The Forum Kader Bela Negara (FKBN) was attended by thousands of spectators and visitors in Ketos on Sunday, July 9, 2023, in conjunction with National Children's Day and in anticipation of the 78th Indonesian Independence Day. FKBN Kediri Raya provides a great opportunity to help improve the upgrading of SMEs in makeup, fashion design, SMEs fashion model training, and style. The formation of confident character and healthy social interactions creates intelligent, observant, and militant defense souls. With the presence of the modelling audition information system, the audition and model selection process becomes more structured, transparent, and efficient. This system helps reduce human errors, save time, and facilitate coordination among all parties involved in the modelling audition.

Abstract

The Python programming language is included in one of the languages that is easy to learn and implement in various fields such as games, website applications, software development, mathematical simulations to scripting systems. So that not only companies, but academics also use python programming to complete research such as robotics, economics, machine learning, data science, data mining, deep learning to scientific computing. Based on this, the target for this service is python programming training for class X students of SMAN 58 Jakarta. Target training is given to high school participants with the aim of changing the image of youth that learning to program is not difficult and to provide a stimulant of comfort when they learn programming. In this training, Jupiter Notebook or Google Collabs software is used which can be accessed online without the need to install. This training is carried out online due to the condition of schools that are still implementing PPKM. The results of the training show that students can understand the basics of the Python programming language which can be seen from the results of the exercises that can be completed by most of the training participants.school.
