Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of mindfulness training on self-regulation and perceived academic control of female students. The research is applied in terms of purpose and quasi-experimental in terms of method using pretest-posttest with a control group. The statistical population of this study consisted of all female high school students in Tehran in the academic year 2019-2020. First, a school was selected from among them and 30 students were selected by random sampling method and were randomly assigned to the experimental group (15 people) and the control group (15 people). The experimental group was trained in 8 sessions of the Mindfulness Training Program (2017). The self-regulatory questionnaire by Pintrich and DeGroot (1990) and the Perry et al.'s (2001) Conscious Academic Control Scale were used to collect data. One-way covariance test was used to analyze the data. The results showed that mindfulness training method has a significant effect on increasing students' self-regulation and conscious academic control.

Abstract

In order to achieve public welfare as tasks and responsibilities delegated to the government in the administration of public welfare (bestuurzorg) including the land sector which includes, among others, regulation, implementation of authority to enforcement of land law. Implementation of bestuurzorg by the government is more oriented towards economic democracy so that ignoring the principle of justice for indigenous peoples in controlling land parcels. The method used in this paper is juridical normative by applying an approach to legal principles and a legal synchronization approach both vertically and horizontally to the State's right to control over land tenure by customary law communities. The results show that land tenure for customary law communities in the UUPA emphasizes as long as it still exists and does not conflict with national interests. This implies that there has been legal pluralism. The occurrence of weak legal pluralism in national land law is indicated by the enactment of UUPA and its various implementing regulations as positive law in the form of written state/national law, on the one hand and on the other hand customary law which is generally unwritten and applies specifically to each other. The applicable customary law in each region. Weak legal pluralism is one of the factors causing legal disputes in substantive settings, especially in land disputes over customary rights which affect their implementation in the field and cause injustice. legal pluralism and making UUPA the center of various land regulations (legal centralism), and is the only land rule that applies nationally (legal unification).

Abstract

In this resarch, the Backpropagation method can be optimized using the Nguyen-Widrow algorithm which is related to the initialization of weights and bias. With the optimization of the Backpropagation method using the Nguyen-Widrow algorithm, facial images can be recognized more quickly and accurately. In the trial process carried out on hidden layer 6 neurons with a target error of 0.01, by default the Backpropagation method produces an accuracy rate of 96%, whereas if the Backpropagation method is optimized it will produce a higher accuracy rate of 98%. Similarly, if it is done on hidden layers 7, 8, 9 and 10 neurons. From the results of this research, these algorithms and methods can be used to improve information technology and play a role in facilitating all aspects of human activities. With the speed and high level of accuracy in taking pictures of faces, it can be used as a policy or provision that is applied to traffic cameras, cameras at train stations to airports and surveillance cameras placed in other strategic locations and can help in the social life and human security.

Abstract

Fuzzy logic is an extension of traditional reasoning, where x is a member of set A or not, or an x can be a member of set A with a certain degree of membership . The ability of fuzzy models to map fuzzy values is the reason for using fuzzy inference models in various cases that use fuzzy values to produce a clear or definite output. In this research, an analysis of the level of accuracy generated by the Sugeno and Mamdani inference model will be carried out in predicting rainfall at Polonia Station, Medan, North Sumatra. Prediction results will be analyzed for accuracy by comparing the results obtained by Sugeno fuzzy inference models and Mamdani using Mean Absolute Percent Error (MAPE). When compared to the results of the Mean Absolute Percent Error (MAPE) Sugeno fuzzy inference model of 1.33% and mamdani fuzzy inference model of 1.45%, then the accuracy rate for the Sugeno inference model is 100%-1.33% = 98.67% while the Mamdani fuzzy inference model is 100%-1.45 = 98.55%. The end result is that the membership function model used in the Sugeno fuzzy model is more accurate than the Mamdani fuzzy inference model in the test case of rainfall prediction at Polonia station in Medan. North Sumatra. The results of the analysis carried out for the Sugeno and Mamdani fuzzy models are influenced by the accuracy of the input values. Rainfall prediction is an important thing to study, weather conditions in certain areas can be predicted so that it can help people's daily activities, can determine a series of community social activities. For example, information on rainfall and its classification is widely used as a guide for agriculture, tourism and transportation, for example: Cropping Patterns, Harvest Predictions, Shipping and flight schedules

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has hit Indonesia where the worrying situation has affected almost every all-region in Indonesia, including West Kalimantan. One of the referral hospitals for the case of COVID-19 in West Kalimantan is RSUD dr. Agoesdjam is the only one referral hospital in the Ketapang Regency area. This makes a critical situation, considering that Ketapang Regency is very large and there is only one referral hospital. The problem that arises later is the number of patients from various regions who come to check themselves at RSUD dr. Agoesdjam Ketapang, where this hospital has a limited number of doctors and health workers. This causes job burnout for health workers, where they have to work extra in monitoring and handling patients regularly in their work environment. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with an exploration of primary and secondary data. Primary data refers to the interview results while secondary data comes from journal searches and online media coverage. Based on the results and discussion in this study, it can be concluded that the COVID-19 situation in RSUD dr. Agoesdjam is quite worrying so that it increases the alertness of the hospital, in this case, the job burnout of health workers is increasing. The duties and responsibilities of nurses are a priority in handling COVID-19 patients and this case raises fear, worry, and energy burden and thoughts for health workers, especially nurses at RSUD dr. Agoesdjam Ketapang. Furthermore, the job burnout experienced by nurses in dealing with the COVID-19 situation is work overload, poor performance, fatigue, and reduced alertness because they are overshadowed by anxiety and worry.

Abstract

On Monday, 5 October 2020, the Draft Law on Job Creation was ratified by the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia and the manuscript was signed by the government on November 3, 2020. Therefore, since November 3, 2020, the Draft Law on Job Creation promulgated in Law Number 11 Year 2020 on Job Creation. Based on the existing official text, the researcher intended to compare the rights of female workers as regulated in Law Number 13 of 2003 on Manpower with Law Number 11 of 2020 on Job Creation. The research method used in this study was a normative juridical research, with a statutory and conceptual approach, descriptive analytical research specifications, data collection by literature study, and qualitative data analysis. The protection of female workers as referred to in the previous labor law was still valid and was not discussed at all in Law Number 11 of 2020 on Job Creation. Therefore, it could be ascertained that the refusal of workers during the process of the Draft Law on Job Creation is wrong. The article which was amended related to the protection of female workers did not change the substance of the protection of female workers as previously regulated through Law Number 13 Year 2003 on Manpower. The Qur'an has been explained that people need to provide special rights for female workers. Explicitly, there is no verses in the Qur'an that mentioned the word 'special rights for female workers'. However, implicitly, there were general arguments based on the verses in the Qur'an that could be used as a basis for granting this right. Some of the special rights of female workers were implicitly communicated in Islamic teachings.
