Abstract

Forecasting is a prediction of uncertain events in the future. Forecasting the number of new students is one of the things that can be used for planning materials for the teaching and learning process, therefore it is necessary to predict the number of new students. This research was conducted at Malang State Polytechnic. The annual data analyzed was taken from 2011 to 2017. To predict the number of new students, the Single Exponential Smoothing method was used. This forecasting method focuses on decreasing the priority exponentially on the previous observation object. In exponential smoothing or exponential smoothing there are one or more smoothing parameters determined explicitly, and this result determines the weight imposed on the observation value. Based on the calculation results, the smallest error value is found at the value of α = 0.9 with MAD value 8.41, MAPE 7.21%, and RMSE 10.7.

Abstract

Information system audit was carried out in the Salatiga Regional Library and Archives, using the ISO 9001: 2015 standard method, focusing on environmental control, physical control, logical controls, and IS operation, to obtain results. Libraries already have the distribution of access rights to users, already have policies that regulate it, and already have security in accordance with standards. Based on the results of the audit of the asset management information system that was done late, it was obtained a statement that the library has never conducted an information system audit of the performance of the information system it has to ensure the performance of the existing information system based on ISO 9001: 2015 standards.

Abstract

The purpose of research to test the effect of SIZE, ROA, and GROWTH on Corporate Value, with Capital Structure as intervening variables in chemical base-based companies. The research approach uses quantitative approach with analysis tool uses SEM Wrap-PLS. The results of the research are: SIZE has a negative effect on Corporate Value; ROA has a positive effect on Corporate Value; Growth has no effect on Corporate Value; Capital Structure has a positive effect on Corporate Value; SIZE does not affect the Capital Structure; ROA has a positive effect on the Capital Structure; Growth has a positive effect on the Capital Structure; Capital Structure mediate indirectly positively between SIZE towards Corporate Value; The Capital Structure mediate positively indirectly between ROA and Corporate Value; Capital Structure mediate indirectly between Growth and Corporate Value.

Abstract

Madura is one of island in East Java that has four regency; those are Bangkalan, Sampang, Pamekasan and Sumenep. Madura was called Salt Island because it is one of the largest producer of salt in Indonesia. Madura is also famous of diversity culinary tours and beautiful tourism. This final project create information system that can be introducing Madura especially four regency in Madura. The introduction are tourism, hotel, the price of ticket in every tourism, the price of foods the history of Madura and pictures. Hopefully this information system can help tourists to get all of information about tourisms and hotels in Madura easily.

Abstract

Each type of work has the risk of being affected by accidents or occupational diseases.  These risks cannot be avoided, but can be minimized.  Welding uses fire and flammable and explosive materials. Given the importance of Occupational, Safety and Health (OSH) in every workplace to increase work productivity, the implementation of OSH is the responsibility of all parties.  Based on observations, many students were absent from lectures due to illness and some were exposed to gram splashes due to welding practices.  Therefore, it is necessary to conduct further research on the application of Occupational health and safety culture as an effort to prevent accidents and diseases caused. The purpose of this research is to make procedure of preventive action on welding process. The research methodology consist of literature study, observation, make danger formulation and make critical assessment. The result of this research show that the highest RPN while the operator do welding.

Abstract

The increased growth of the society in Pamekasan from year to year is directly proportional to the number of job seekers increase continuesly. A large number of job seekers is not only due to the inadequate number of jobs, but also because of the slow and precise job information to the proper parties (the people who need jobs). Disnakertrans as an institution formed by the Government has made several attemps to minimize the number of job seekers, but until now the result obtained are not optimal, because there is no systemthat can accommodate the needs of both parties (providers and job seekers). Therefore, the research aims to create a website that accommodates data vacancies and job seekers. Later, the data is automatically going throught the process of weighting by means of the Simple Additive Weighting, this method is expected to optimize the selection of a job based on the latest education, gender, and age that has been mentioned by job seekers when registering. Once the selection process is complete, the job information is sent via SMS Gateway to job seekers. This SMS will send the job information suitable for the number of job seekers who have posted on the website.

Abstract

Augmented Reality is a technology that makes it possible to create 3D objects in the real world with the help of a camera on a gadget. In its development, Augmented Reality technology began to be developed and combined with cloud computing technology. With the existence of Cloud computing technology Augmented reality can work more efficiently because all 3D objects can be stored on the Cloud. With the development of this technology, the author feels the need to conduct an analysis to determine the right processor in making the Augmented Reality Cloud application, because there is no research that is used as a reference in developing hardware and software used for Augmented Reality Cloud. Result of this experiment can be concluded CISC architecture processors have faster time in detecting markers compared to RISC architecture processors, because CISC processor speeds are faster than RISC processors.

Abstract

The main observation of this reserch is the installation and analysis of frequency function diversion from 3G to 2G network to enhance the Channel capacity. The frequency 850 MHz that is previously owned by Telkom Flexi, then shifted to belong to Smartfren and will be transferred to become 2G GSM operated by Telkomsel Madura. The result shows that the transfer process of the frequency function goes well.  This produces that the average value of drive test before diversion are Rx Level = 87.969%, Rx Qual = 87.791%, SQI = 80.809%. The average value of drive test after diversion are Rx Level = 91.967%, Rx Qual = 89.926%, SQI = 82.049%. The traffic value before diversion is 503.296 Erlang and 627 Erlang for after diversion. While the blocking before diversion is 24.36% and the blocking after diversion is 1.6%.

Abstract

IT project management is an activity of resources available from IT solution development projects that can produce a system solution that meets predetermined requirements. Developments in the era of technology are moving forward with the development of companies engaged in technology services. This project planning can be prepared using Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), budget plans and network diagrams (AON). The color blind test application system is an application to facilitate the detection of colors early on in someone and also provides accessibility to the black test. By managing a good project management, it is possible to estimate the time and cost needed in implementing the project, so as to minimize the estimated cost due to additional project delays.

Abstract

Health facility is a facility which engaged in health in an effort to provide services from government and society to inform about health, prevention of disease, treatment, and bring back the sicks to their main environment. The health informaion which is provided by Google Maps is not complete yet. So, the problem that arises is the media that provide health information is still small. And society in Bangkalan cant reach the health information in overall. That problem can solve with an aplication which is build by Framework Codeigniter and Google Maps API. This application can accomodate and provide health data facility completely. So the society in Bangkalan can search by their own self about location with the nearest distance and know all about health information. Such like health facility, the addresses, and doctor's schedules in hospital and community health centre. The applocation which has been build is effective to help society to know all location and information about health in Bangkalan. This proven by quality of this application to 10 respondent with resultd 77,3%
