Abstract

This study explores the impact of technology adoption, knowledge sharing, and financial planning on the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Food and Beverage (F&B) sector in Jakarta, Indonesia. The research aims to develop an integrated model that illustrates how these factors contribute to improving business performance, particularly in the context of emerging markets. Using a quantitative approach, data was collected from 770 respondents via a survey, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was employed to analyze the relationships between variables. The findings indicate that technology adoption significantly influences strategic absorptive capacity, which in turn enhances financial planning and business performance. Knowledge sharing was found to positively affect financial planning, but its direct impact on strategic absorptive capacity was weak. The study concludes that strengthening absorptive capacity and financial planning are critical for MSMEs to achieve sustainable growth and competitiveness in the digital age. This research offers valuable insights for MSME owners and policymakers aiming to improve the business performance of MSMEs through technology and knowledge integration.

Abstract

This study explores the role of marketing performance in improving business outcomes for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia’s Food and Beverage (F&B) sector. Specifically, the research examines how strategic alignment and strategy absorptive capacity influence marketing performance and business performance. A quantitative approach using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was applied to analyze data from 617 respondents, including owners and managers of F&B MSMEs in West Java. The results indicate that strategic alignment significantly impacts strategy absorptive capacity, which in turn enhances business performance. Additionally, the study highlights the mediating role of strategy absorptive capacity, demonstrating that the alignment of business strategies and the ability to absorb external knowledge directly improve marketing and business outcomes. The research provides practical implications for managers of F&B MSMEs, particularly in adapting their strategies to the dynamic market environment, leveraging digital marketing tools, and fostering organizational capabilities to absorb and apply new knowledge. This study contributes to the literature by integrating strategic alignment, absorptive capacity, and marketing performance into a unified model, offering valuable insights for both academics and practitioners.

Abstract

This study investigates the interplay between strategic leadership, absorptive capacity, business innovation, and business performance in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) within the food and beverage (F&B) sector in West Java, Indonesia. Employing a quantitative approach, the research uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test hypotheses about the impact of strategic leadership and absorptive capacity on innovation and performance outcomes. The results indicate that strategic leadership influences business performance indirectly, primarily through its role in enhancing absorptive capacity, which, in turn, facilitates innovation. This absorptive capacity is identified as a key driver of business performance in MSMEs. The findings emphasize that effective leadership acts as a catalyst for fostering an environment conducive to learning and innovation, ultimately improving business outcomes. These insights are essential for MSME entrepreneurs and policymakers seeking strategies to enhance innovation and performance, particularly in resource-constrained environments. The study contributes to the theoretical understanding of strategic leadership and absorptive capacity in MSMEs and offers practical recommendations for strengthening business resilience and competitiveness in the rapidly evolving F&B sector.

Abstract

This study examines the interplay between risk management and absorptive capacity in improving business performance for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Food and Beverage (F&B) sector. MSMEs face increasing challenges due to globalization, market uncertainties, and technological changes, making risk management and absorptive capacity crucial for sustaining competitive advantage. The research investigates how effective risk management strategies, combined with a strong absorptive capacity, can enhance MSMEs’ financial and operational performance. By employing a quantitative approach and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), data from 650 F&B MSMEs in West Java, Indonesia, were analyzed. The findings reveal that risk management significantly influences absorptive capacity, which in turn positively impacts business performance. This study highlights the importance of integrating these two factors, with absorptive capacity serving as a key mediator between risk management and business performance. Practical recommendations for MSMEs include strengthening risk management frameworks and fostering employee engagement to enhance absorptive capacity, thereby improving business outcomes. The results provide valuable insights for MSME owners and managers on how to navigate uncertainties and leverage knowledge to improve sustainability and competitiveness in a dynamic market environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work environment and organizational culture on employee performance, with organizational commitment as a mediating variable, at Bank Majalengka. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey of all 149 permanent employees, and the data were analyzed using Partial Least Square–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that the work environment has a significant effect on organizational commitment with a path coefficient of 0.319 (t = 3.984; p = 0.000), while organizational culture has a stronger effect on commitment with a coefficient of 0.488 (t = 7.316; p = 0.000). Organizational culture also directly affects employee performance (coefficient = 0.309; t = 3.171; p = 0.002), as does organizational commitment (coefficient = 0.380; t = 3.313; p = 0.001). However, the work environment does not have a direct effect on performance (coefficient = -0.162; t = 1.817; p = 0.070), but exerts an indirect effect through organizational commitment (mediation coefficient = 0.121; t = 2.570; p = 0.010), indicating full mediation. Additionally, organizational commitment partially mediates the relationship between organizational culture and performance (mediation coefficient = 0.185; t = 2.761; p = 0.006). The R² value for employee performance is 0.568, indicating that 56.8% of the variance in performance is explained by the model. These findings underscore the critical role of organizational commitment as a psychological mechanism linking internal organizational factors to employee performance.

Abstract

Penelitian memiliki tujuan untuk mengevaluasi bagaimana kualitas laporan keuangan dengan sistem pengendalian internal sebagai variabel intervening dipengaruhi oleh sistem informasi akuntansi, kepatuhan terhadap standar akuntansi, dan penggunaan teknologi informasi. Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) adalah metodologi kuantitatif yang digunakan untuk mengevaluasi hubungan antarvariabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem pengendalian internal dan sistem informasi akuntansi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap sistem pengendalian internal, tetapi penggunaan teknologi informasi tidak. Selanjutnya, kualitas laporan keuangan sangat dipengaruhi oleh sistem informasi akuntansi dan sistem pengendalian internal, tetapi kepatuhan terhadap standar akuntansi dan penggunaan teknologi informasi tidak. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan sistem pengendalian internal dan penggunaan sistem informasi akuntansi yang efektif sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas laporan keuangan rumah sakit daerah.

Abstract

The implementation of free health check programs reflects the local government’s effort to expand access to public healthcare services. However, its effectiveness often faces challenges in maintaining service quality at the primary healthcare level. This study aims to analyze the role of the Depok City Government in planning, implementing, and supervising the free health check program at Cimanggis Public Health Center (Puskesmas Cimanggis), as well as to examine its influence on perceived service quality. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach through in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies, with data validity ensured by source and method triangulation. Findings reveal that the local government plays four essential roles: regulative, facilitative, capacitative, and supervisory. These roles contribute positively to improving the five SERVQUAL dimensions—tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy—with the greatest enhancement observed in responsiveness and empathy. Key obstacles include limited medical personnel, uneven logistics distribution, and manual evaluation systems. The study concludes that the program’s success depends on adaptive policy implementation, human resource capacity strengthening, and the digitalization of service systems based on a humanistic service approach. Abstract

his Community Service Program aims to build a sustainable food ecosystem in Karawang Regency through the integration of product innovation and the utilization of e-commerce. The main focus of the activity is to increase the capacity of micro and small business actors in processing black glutinous rice into peuyeum (a typical fermented food) with hygienic production techniques, attractive packaging, and flavor variations according to market trends. In addition, this program provides digital marketing training to expand marketing access through platforms such as social media and e-commerce. The implementation method includes field surveys, product innovation training, technical assistance, and the preparation of practical guidebooks. Survey results show two main challenges: the low added value of local products due to a lack of innovation and limited digital literacy among farmers. The implemented solutions succeeded in improving participants' skills in peuyeum processing and the use of digital marketing technology, with outcomes in the form of increased product competitiveness, market network expansion, and increased business income. Long-term impacts are seen in economic transformation based on collaboration between stakeholders and technology adoption that supports business sustainability Keywords : sustainable food ecosystem, product innovation, e-commerce.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The launch of BYOND SuperApp by BSI received a positive national response, yet there is an adoption gap at BSI KCP Cinunuk where the majority of customers have not switched from the legacy app. This study aims to analyze the factors affecting customer interest in using the BYOND app and its relevance to Maqāṣid Sharia. The method used is quantitative with multiple linear regression analysis. Data were collected via questionnaires from 97 active customers at BSI KCP Cinunuk. The findings show that simultaneously, perceived ease of use, usefulness, security, promotion, and Sharia values significantly influence usage interest by 74%. Partially, only perceived usefulness and security are significant determinants. Interestingly, Sharia values do not directly influence interest but serve strategically as value reinforcement aligned with the protection of religion (ḥifẓ al-dīn) and wealth (ḥifẓ al-māl). Managerial implications suggest that BSI should focus strategies on strengthening functional benefits and security systems to accelerate adoption, while positioning Sharia features as a unique competitive advantage in the digital banking ecosystem. Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of the Resource-Based View (RBV) strategy in improving literacy quality at SDN 181 Sukamiskin, Bandung City. Although the school possesses relatively strong teacher human capital and cultural capital, literacy achievement has declined, particularly in the advanced category. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach using a case study method. Data were obtained from the 2024–2025 Education Report, the School-Based Curriculum, teacher profiles, and school policy documents. Data analysis was conducted using RBV-based SWOT analysis through the IFAS and EFAS matrices. The results indicate that the main problem lies in the suboptimal utilization of internal resources to support literacy improvement. Therefore, literacy enhancement strategies should be directed toward the integrated optimization of human capital and local wisdom.
