Abstract

This study examines the role of the Tanjung Kelayang Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in addressing regional inequality in Bangka Belitung Province. Despite contributing to economic growth, with Pangkalpinang's GRDP reaching IDR 11.75 trillion in 2023, investment realization remains low at 3.42% of the IDR 10.3 trillion target. The Williamson Index indicates persistent disparities, recording 0.184 in 2023. Key challenges include inadequate infrastructure, low workforce readiness for tourism, and complex regulations. The study recommends a holistic strategy involving infrastructure development, skills training, regulatory simplification, and support for local MSMEs to ensure equitable benefits. Findings highlight the need for integrated policies to enhance the SEZ's effectiveness in reducing inequality and promoting sustainable development.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine how the influence of receivables turnover on return on assets and services. In addition, to determine what efforts can be made to increase the return on assets of cooperatives. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The results of this study indicate that receivables turnover in two soybean trading units and savings and loan business units is related to return on assets. Meanwhile, receivables turnover in the soybean trading business unit has no relationship with the service of the trading business unit and receivables turnover in the savings and loan business unit is related to the service of the savings and loan business unit. Abstract

This article presents a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of employee performance and sustainability research globally, covering a 25 year span from 2001 to June 2025. The study’s primary purpose is to identify emerging trends, research gap between employee performance and sustainability practices in business, including unexplored key research themes and future directions to provide valuable insights for academics, policymakers, and practitioners seeking to understand and advance employee-related sustainability practices. We employed a bibliometric approach, collecting 573 articles from the Scopus database. Analysis of the data was carefully done using Microsoft Excel, OpenRefine, VOSViewer, RStudio, and Biblioshiny to allow for extensive citation, content, and network analysis. As a result, we identify four research clusters which include First, environmental sustainability and green hrm practices. Second, employee performance and organizational behavior. Third, strategic sustainability and innovation, and Four general linking themes. Furthermore, we found several research gaps for future exploration, such as exploring innovation as a mechanism linking sustainability efforts and employee performance. This offers clear directions for early-career scholars in the field of employee performance and sustainability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of management capabilities, growth opportunities, and company age on the performance of Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) between 2019 and 2024. IPO performance is measured by examining the phenomena of underpricing and overpricing, which reflect the difference between the offering price of shares at the time of the IPO and the share price traded on the first day in the secondary market. This study employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis to investigate the impact of independent variables on IPO performance. The study utilizes data from 10 manufacturing companies that conducted IPOs within the specified timeframe. The findings indicate that managerial competence and growth prospects have a substantial positive impact on IPO performance. Conversely, company age does not significantly influence IPO outcomes. These findings provide insights that factors such as high managerial competence and good growth prospects play a crucial role in determining IPO success, while company age is not a primary factor in evaluating IPO performance in the Indonesian market. This study significantly enhances understanding of the factors influencing IPO performance in the Indonesian capital market.

Abstract

Green financing is a strategic approach to promoting sustainable development, especially in extractive sectors such as nickel mining. This article analyzes the effectiveness of green financing implementation by Indonesian banks in preventing environmental damage caused by mining activities in Morowali. This study uses a socio-legal approach with a normative-empirical method. Data collection was conducted through three main methods: semi-structured interviews, document analysis, and limited field observations. The findings indicate that despite formal regulations such as POJK 51/2017 and the OJK Roadmap, implementation on the ground remains weak due to insufficient oversight, the absence of sanctions, and the dominance of an economic profit-driven paradigm. Green financing has not functioned as a tool for ecological justice because it does not address the structural root causes within the financial system. This study recommends enhancing oversight and enforcement of sanctions, as well as the need to integrate sustainability values into the financing process. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of a sustainable development legal approach to assess the effectiveness of green financing policies in the real-world case of Indonesia's mining sector.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) dan strategi diferensiasi terhadap nilai perusahaan, serta menguji peran competitive advantage sebagai variabel pemoderasi pada sektor perbankan Indonesia. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui regresi data panel dengan Random Effect Model (REM), menggunakan sampel 46 bank yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode 2022–2024 dan menghasilkan 138 observasi perusahaan-tahun. Seluruh data dianalisis tanpa pembuangan data berbasis outlier, dan tidak terdapat observasi yang dihapus secara manual. Perbedaan jumlah observasi pada uji normalitas residual (N = 96) terjadi karena mekanisme listwise deletion otomatis oleh SPSS ketika membentuk variabel interaksi moderasi sehingga beberapa observasi tidak memenuhi kriteria kelengkapan data residual. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa ESG berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, sejalan dengan Signaling Theory. Strategi diferensiasi juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Namun, competitive advantage tidak memoderasi hubungan antara ESG dan nilai perusahaan, sedangkan moderasi signifikan terjadi pada hubungan strategi diferensiasi dan nilai perusahaan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa inovasi yang didukung oleh efisiensi kapital lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan nilai perusahaan dibandingkan penerapan ESG yang masih bersifat administratif. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi strategis bagi manajemen perbankan dan regulator dalam merancang kebijakan keberlanjutan dan inovasi yang terintegrasi.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi komunikasi, memberikan pengaruh terhadap proses transaksi keuangan. Termasuk pada praktik wakaf tunai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau potensi dari wakaf tunai digital melalui financial technology syariah dalam membangun kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus di Badan Wakaf Mikro Syariah di lingkungan Pondok Pesantren Cipasung Tasikmalaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan penerapan wakaf tunai di BWM Cipasung, memberikan kemudahan pada calon wakif dalam memberikan wakaf. Potensi wakaf uang di BWM Cipasung dalam penguatan perekonomian masyarakat adalah mengembangkan usaha mikro di kawasan Bank Wakaf Mikro. Selain itu, peran BWM Cipasung sebagai jembatan untuk kemakmuran ekonomi masyarakat yang terlihat dalam proses pinjaman yang memfokusi masyarakat miskin produktif. Kesimpulannya, integrasi fintech dalam tata kelola wakaf tunai memiliki dampak positif dalam memajukan potensi masyarakat dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi.

Abstract

This research systematically reviews the factors influencing student financial stress, its impact on academic success, and effective coping strategies. A literature review of studies published between 2020 and 2025 reveals that student financial stress results from the interaction of personal factors (literacy, self-efficacy, attitude towards debt), structural factors (cost of education and economic conditions), and situational factors (the pandemic and social pressure). The reported impacts encompass mental health, academic motivation, and general well-being. Mitigation efforts require a holistic approach combining financial education, psychological support, and institutional policies to foster a learning environment that is financially and emotionally healthier. This review contributes to enriching the understanding of the importance of student financial well-being for long-term academic success.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kinerja keuangan terhadap return saham pada perusahaan manufaktur yang melakukan Penawaran Umum Perdana (IPO) di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2023–2024. Kajian ini menegaskan pentingnya analisis fundamental dalam menilai prospek investasi saham, khususnya pada sektor manufaktur yang berperan penting bagi stabilitas dan pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini meliputi Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), serta Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), sementara variabel dependennya adalah return saham yang diukur melalui pergerakan harga saham setelah perusahaan tercatat di BEI. Melalui pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik regresi linier berganda berbasis data sekunder dari laporan keuangan dan catatan perdagangan saham, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa variabel leverage, khususnya DER, memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap return saham. Sebaliknya, ROA dan ROE tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang berarti. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa investor memberikan perhatian besar pada struktur pendanaan perusahaan dalam mengambil keputusan investasi pada saham manufaktur pasca-IPO. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi ilmiah dan praktis bagi investor, analis pasar modal, dan manajemen perusahaan.
