Abstract

Human face recognition (human face recognition) is a major branch in the field of biometric verification in addition to the introduction of eye retina, fingerprints and signature patterns and its application has been widely used in various network security system applications, door control systems, to the benefit of attendance recording system. The current study aims to utilize facial recognition techniques as data input for information systems that record the presence of lecturers at the Hamzanwadi University Faculty of Engineering. The technology base for developing the system support software is OpenCV and the Java programming language. This research was conducted with the design-science for IS research method that emphasizes the build and evaluate cycles. The build phase will be carried out using object-oriented rules while the evaluate stage is carried out by adopting the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework.DOI : 10.29408/jit.v1i2.903

Abstract

Water is a natural resource that greatly affects human life. The most important is of the human body consists of water. Therefore, it is very important for us to keep water availability normal. But in everyday life the use of water storage tanks or tanks is not yet as effective or efficient, because there is still a lot of water wasted in filling water and there is no indicator of water level. Therefore, researcher made a water level controller on IoT (Internet of Thing) based tanks. This tool uses an ultrasonic sensor to measure water level, NodeMCU ESP 8266 as a microcontroller and Blynk application as a control device and the place where the water level measurements are displayed. This tool consists of several interconnected parts. Starting from the ultrasonic sensor measuring the water level and then being sent to the microcontroller after it is processed, and was sent to the Blynk webserver so that it can be accessed and displayed by the control application. In addition, the microcontroller is connected to a relay that functions as a switch of a water pump that can be controlled through the application. So that we can monitor the water stock and control the water stock we have by being more flexible and efficient.DOI : 10.29408/jit.v3i1.1789

Abstract

Web-based cultural tourism information system is used as a tool in delivering information on tourism and culture in East Lombok to people who want to know the tourist areas in East Lombok. The system, web-based tourist information system is one form of media or means. Promotion of cultural tourism in East Lombok Regency which aims to attract both local and foreign tourists to visit Lombok Island, especially East Lombok. This research is expected to be useful as a medium of information and promotion of tourism potential in East Lombok, so that the community will be more familiar with the tourism places of the area visited, besides that the location of tourists by tourists can impact on the economic aspects of the surrounding communities. . Research methods conducted by researchers include observation, interviews with related parties, and literature studies related to the issues raised. In designing this information system, researchers use several programming languages and databases, including PHP and Mysql. Abstract

So far, the community in general can control lights or other electronic equipment with just a switch, but the control is limited by distance. Therefore, the construction of an electronic equipment control system application prototype was built on the Android platform as a new alternative solution for remote control. The application built on the Android platform has an attractive and easy to understand user interface. In addition, the control system built utilizes a Bluetooth network for sending control instructions to Arduino. In this prototype using Arduino Uno as a processor, Android as a control, Bluetooth HC-06 module as Arduino communication with Android and using relay as a control switch with 4 channel specifications. Communication between an android smartphone and a microcontroller can be done wirelessly using Bluetooth, which the Android smartphone and Bluetooth module on the microcontroller system can communicate using serial data. The speech recognition feature on an Android smartphone can be used to control the lights using voice commands. This is done by initializing the spectrum of voice commands in the form of strings into character codes that have been identified by the microcontroller. Control of electronic equipment will not work if the Android smartphone is out of range of the Bluetooth wireless transmission range of the Bluetooth module because the Bluetooth connection will be disconnected automatically.DOI : 10.29408/jit.v3i2.2348

Abstract

Teachers have an important role in printing quality students, so that there is a need for good performance. teacher performance is assessed from how the duties and responsibilities are carried out as educators. SMAN 3 selong is one of the educational institutions in East Lombok Regency, in measuring the performance of the headmaster of SMAN 3 Selong, usually looking at attendance data and the number of lesson hours, this causes the school principal to assess the teacher's performance is not effective so it needs to be built a system that can help school principals assess teacher performance. The purpose of this study is to analyze the performance of teachers of SMAN 3 Selong so that the performance criteria of teachers who teach well and are good enough can be known. To help the process of analyzing teacher performance accurately, a method of data mining is needed by applying a support vector machine (SVM) algorithm based on particle swarm optimization (PSO). Based on the results of the experiments conducted using the PSO-based SVM (support vector machine) method (particle swarm optimization), by training 55 data records, 29 teachers were expected to be good performing teachers, 25 teachers with fairly good performance and 1 teacher It is estimated that it is quite good but has a good performance, with an accuracy of 98.33%.DOI : 10.29408/jit.v2i2.1446

Abstract

In order to support national education through the provision of learning resources, the library must act as a learning center that meets the needs of students, especially at SMA Nusantara 1 Tangerang. Currently, the application of the system for borrowing and managing books to making reports at the SMA Nusantara 1 Tangerang library is still done manually, so errors can occur in recording and data recorded on paper that is damaged or lost at any time. This design program is made so that the process of borrowing and developing books to making library reports at SMA Nusantara 1 Tangerang can be carried out effectively and efficiently, the development of a system for borrowing and writing books at SMU Nusantara 1 Tangerang can be done effectively and efficiently, because it is one of the system methods aimed at providing much faster development and getting better quality results. The author uses RAD in addition to aiming to shorten the time usually required in the traditional system development life cycle between the design and implementation of an information system.

Abstract

Selling woven fabric products using an online system will certainly lead to lower production costs and lower selling prices. Online selling requires a concept and a mature mind to find out important things that can attract consumers to visit the website and make purchases. With this research the seller will get an overview of the things that can attract consumers to purchase woven fabric based on several variables studied, like the promotion website and the selling price of woven fabric. From this variables seller can find out which variable has the most influence on the buyer's decision to purchase Lombok woven fabric, in this case the researcher conducted a study on this matter by analyzing using the Neural Network (NN) model. Base on the analysis that has been done, a result is obtained, where the variables that have the greatest influence on the purchase decision of woven fabric are prices and websites with an accuracy level of PRED (.25) of 95%.DOI : 10.29408/jit.v2i1.975

Abstract

Wirdul jalil is a collection of prayers and dhikr compiled by TGH. Afifudin Adnan is a student of Mawlanasysyaikh Tuan Guru Kyai Hajji Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid and also the founder of the Al Mukhtariyah Al Islamiyah Foundation. Wirdul jalil has become compulsory reading for congregations and students of the Al Mukhtariah Al Islamiyah Foundation and almost every year, the Al Mukhtariyah Al Islamiyah Islamic boarding school prints wirdul jalil. Then it was distributed to students and the congregation of Al Mukhtariyah Al Islmiyah to replace wirdul that had been damaged by age or lost. With the above problems, the author intends to design and build a mobile application that can produce jam'ah and students of the Al Mukhtariah Al Islamiyah Foundation in getting wirdul jalil without having to print it first, with this application congregations and students of the Al Mukhtariah Al Foundation Islamiyah can install it on a mobile device. That way, the congregation and students can read Wirdul Jalil practically on their mobile devices, and in the end the application can be used further.

Abstract

Perusahaan yang dibangun dengan tujuan untuk menghasilkan barang atau jasa yang ditujukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen juga untuk memperoleh keuntungan bagi perusahaan tersebut. Perusahaan sudah tentu memiliki tujuan yang sama yaitu mencapai target yang sudah direncanakan dan mampu menghasilkan pemasukan yang selalu meningkat disetiap tahunnya. Dan salah satu kegiatan usaha yang harus dilakukan agar perusahaan tetap berjalan dan berkembang adalah penjualan. Keputusan yang diambil pemegang tanggung jawab perusahaan akan mempengaruhi perusahaan dimasa depan. Salah satu keputusan yang harus ditentukan yaitu produk yang akan diproduksi dan dijual untuk periode selanjutnya. Dilihat dari era globalisasi saat ini bahwa usaha yang dapat mengikuti zaman yaitu produk rokok elektrik (Vape). Produk tersebut benar-benar diminati oleh kalangan anak muda hususnya para pria. Salah satu instansi yang mengambil keputusan untuk menggeluti bisnis tersebut yaitu Lombok Vape On. “Lombok Vape On” memiliki konsumen yang cukup banyak sehingga pendapatan yang didapat tentu banyak, akan tetapi pendapatannya tidak menentu dan tidak dapat diprediksi dengan baik setiap bulannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengklasifikasikan hasil penjualan dari Lombok Vape on untuk mengetahui efektifitas penjualan perbulannya agar toko tersebut dapat mengetahui pasang surut pemasukan yang didapat. Apabila instansi tersebut mengetahui tingkat penjualannya maka instansi tersebut dengan mudah mengubah strategi penjualan agar stabil dan meningkat. Untuk itu peneliti menerapkan metode K-Nearest Neighbor untuk mengklasifikasin masalah tersebut,dan diharapkan metode ini mampu mengatasi masalah pada “Lombok Vape On”.DOI : 10.29408/jit.v3i2.2279

Abstract

Heart failure is a global health problem that not only causes physical problems, other impacts such as psychological, social, and economic, as well as depression, which affects treatment, worsens functional status, and increases hospitalization rates to death. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), nearly 17.5 million people die from cardiovascular disease, which represents 31% of deaths in the world. Using machine learning to predict the survival of patients with heart failure so that they can take precautions from the start. The stages of the research carried out include the business understanding stage, the data understanding stage, the data preparation stage, the modeling stage, and the evaluation stage. In this study, using feature selection using best-first resulted in 4 very influential features, namely age, injection_fraction, serum_creatinene and time, and handling imbalance class using the class balancer model. Random forest algorithm with 80% percentage split method which produces 91.45% accuracy, mean absolute error 0.1874, incorrectly classified instances 8.55%, precision 0.915, recall 0.914, AUC 0.953.
