Abstract

This research aims to show the significant influence of the application of strategic management on the nature of Islam at Madrasah Al-Istiqomah Telagawaru which is located in Labuapi District, West Lombok Regency. The research used is an quantitative method approach with data analysis techniques using an analytical design. The research is all teachers and students of MI Al-Istiqomah Telagawaru, and the sample consists of eight teachers and six eleven students who were randomly selected. The data collection method is through observation, using instruments to assess the implementation of management and Islamic education. The data analysis technique used is the t test and/or F test. So the results of the research show that the influence of the application of strategic management has a significant influence on the quality of Islamic education in the MI in Al-Istiqomah Telagawaru, with the significant value obtained in the T test and the F test amounting to I0.000, which is less than 0.05. Therefore, we confidently reject Ho and accept Ha.

Abstract

The Quran and Hadith have explained that the ideal family in Islam is a family that is sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah, which upholds the rights and responsibilities of its members. The Quran and Hadith also contain guidance that can be used as a reference by all of humanity, especially Muslims, to achieve an ideal family. This guidance is that humans should always maintain feelings of sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah in their families. Therefore, through this paper, the author seeks to examine the verses of the Quran and the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) that are related to the family and to see the criteria for an ideal family in Islam. This research is a library research with a data analysis method and existing sources, namely by collecting Quranic verses and Hadiths that are relevant to the ideal family. The data sources in this study are the Quran, Hadith, and journals or writings related to the ideal family in Islam. The results of this study show the following conclusions: First, the Quran and Hadith command Muslims to marry and take care of their families. Second, the harmony of a family is greatly determined by the moral values that each family member possesses. Third, building an ideal family requires awareness among each family member of their rights, responsibilities, and duties. Building an ideal family is part of maintaining the peace and integrity of society and the realization of a Rabbani generation in order to realize a civilized society for the civilization of the nation and religion. Keywords: Quran, Hadith, Ideal, Family, Madani, Rabbani Al-Quran dan Hadits telah menjelaskan bahwa keluarga yang ideal dalam Islam adalah keluarga sakinah, mawaddah dan rahmah yang tentunya menjunjung tinggi hak dan kewajiban anggota keluarganya. Al-Qur’an dan Hadits juga mengandung petunjuk yang dapat dijadikan acuan oleh umat manusia khususnya ummat Islam untuk mencapai keluarga yang ideal, yaitu manusia harus selalu menghadirkan perasaan sakinah, mawaddah, dan ra?mah dalam keluarganya. Oleh karena itu, melalui tulisan ini, penulis berupaya menelaah tentang ayat-ayat al-Qur’an dan Hadits Rasulullah Saw yang berkaitan dengan keluarga serta melihat kriteria-kriteria keluarga ideal dalam Islam. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kepustakaan dengan metode analisis data dan sumber yang ada yaitu dengan menghimpun ayat-ayat al-Quran dan Hadits yang memiliki relevansi dengan keluarga ideal. Sumber data dalam kajian ini adalah al-Qur’an dan Hadits serta jurnal-jurnal atau tulisan yang berkaitan dengan keluarga ideal dalam Islam. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan suatu kesimpulan, bahwa, pertama: al-Quran dan Hadits memerintahkan umat Islam untuk berumah tangga dan memelihara keluarganya. Kedua: Keharmonisan suatu keluarga sangat ditentukan oleh nilai-nilai akhlak yang dimiliki setiap anggota keluarga. Ketiga: Membina keluarga ideal perlu adanya kesadaran antara setiap anggota keluarga tentang hak, kewajiban, dan tanggung jawab masing-masing anggota keluarga. Membina keluarga yang ideal merupakan bagian dari menjaga ketenangan dan keutuhan masyarakat serta terwujudnya generasi rabbani dalam rangka mewujudkan masyarakat madani untu peradaban bangsa dan agama. Abstract

The complexity of the reading process, which poses significant challenges for EFL and ESL learners, underpins this research into effective strategies for both reading comprehension and answering English reading texts.  This qualitative phenomenological research aimed to explore the strategies that students use during reading activities and while taking reading comprehension tests. The study involved four fourth-semester students, differentiated by gender and achievement levels: a high-achieving female, a low-achieving female, a high-achieving male, and a low-achieving male. The research identified that students employed a variety of strategies, with 11 metacognitive strategies being used out of a possible 23, including determining word meaning, making connections, inferring, and summarizing. Additionally, four out of the five FIVES reading strategies were utilized: inference, vocabulary, summarization, and experience. High-achieving students employed more strategies, leading to better comprehension and higher test scores. For test-taking, strategies such as careful time management, revisiting difficult questions, and employing process-of-elimination techniques were noted. The effectiveness of both reading and test-taking strategies, along with factors like topic familiarity and the ability to make inferences, were crucial in determining reading success. These findings underscore the importance of targeted interventions that focus on teaching effective strategies, enhancing topic familiarity, and supporting students in developing robust test-taking strategies, particularly for low-achieving students.

Abstract

Innovation in technical education plays a crucial role in preparing students to face the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, especially with the growing demand for skilled workers in automation technology. This article explores the implementation of robotics training at SMK As-Shofwah NWDI Renco as an innovative approach to technical education. The training employed a project-based learning (PBL) method, involving 18 students from grades X, XI, and XII, with 28% of participants from grade X, 33% from grade XI, and 39% from grade XII. Results revealed that the training significantly enhanced students' technical skills in basic robotics, microcontroller usage, sensors, actuators, and robot programming. Additionally, it fostered improvements in learning motivation, critical thinking, and teamwork. Despite its successes, the program faced challenges, including limited resources and the need for further teacher training. This robotics training serves as a strategic step in preparing vocational school students to compete in a technology-driven workforce

Abstract

With the increasing threat to cybersecurity, Machine Learning (ML)-based Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) are becoming increasingly important for detecting and preventing network attacks. The selection of appropriate features is a key factor in improving the performance of IDS, as it can enhance detection accuracy, reduce model complexity, and save computation time. This article examines various feature selection techniques used in ML-based IDS, including filter, wrapper, embedded, and hybrid techniques. Each technique has its advantages and disadvantages, depending on the characteristics of the dataset and the type of attack encountered. This research also evaluates the effectiveness of these techniques using popular datasets such as KDD Cup 99, NSL-KDD, and CICIDS 2017. The results show that filter techniques are more efficient in terms of time, while wrapper and hybrid techniques offer higher detection accuracy, although they require more resources. The embedded technique combines efficiency and accuracy with time savings in model training. This article also discusses the importance of good feature selection for classification in IDS, as well as the challenges faced by IDS in overcoming its limitations. This research provides a comprehensive overview of feature selection in ML-based IDS and recommendations for further development and implementation to address increasingly complex threats.

Abstract

Suku Sasak adalah salah satu suku Bangsa Indonesia yang mayoritasnya berada di Pulau Lombok, bahasa yang digunakan adalah Bahasa Sasak dengan pedoman tiga tingkatan sor-singgih (tigang soroh) yaitu Basa Kasar, Basa Madia dan Basa Alus. Bahasa Sasak juga memiliki imbuhan pangater, seselan dan pangiring. Untuk memudahkan pencarian kata dasar dalam Bahasa Sasak perlu dilakukan proses stemming. Stemming adalah proses pemetaan dan penguraian bentuk dari suatu kata menjadi bentuk dasarnya. Proses stemming sangat penting didalam proses information retrieval system. Pada penelitian ini, dalam melakukan proses stemming Bahasa Sasak menggunakan metode Rule Base Approach. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kata dasar dalam Bahasa Sasak sebanyak 376 kata dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang aplikasi stemming yang tepat untuk melakukan stemming Bahasa Sasak. Tahap awal dalam proses stemming Bahasa Sasak adalah melakukan proses input, preprocessing, filtering, case folding dan tokenisasi. Masing-masing kata dilakukan proses stemming untuk menghilangkan imbuhan pangater, seselan, dan pangiring. Hasil dari penelitian menyatakan bahwa metode Rule Base Approach dapat digunakan untuk melakukan stemming teks Bahasa Sasak, hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil akurasi mencapai angka 77.82%. Tentunya dalam pengujian masih terdapat kegagalan yang disebabkan oleh kesalahan overstemming akibat dari proses stemming.

Abstract

Stroke is known as a disease caused by rupture of blood vessels in the brain or blockage of blood vessels in the brain. Disruption of the blood supply to the brain can result in damage to brain cells which results in damage to brain function. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) stroke is one of the highest causes of death worldwide, because almost 85% of the causes of death in the world are due to stroke. Current developments in science and technology require research to analyze stroke patient data so that the dominant factors that lead to stroke can be identified. This is an initial step that can be taken to address these problems to reduce the risk of death caused by stroke. In this study, the analysis was carried out by implementing a decision tree algorithm using python because the decision tree has good accuracy 91% in making predictions. With the decision tree formed from this algorithm, it will be easy to see the symptoms, starting from those who are most at risk to those who have the lowest risk of causing stroke

Abstract

An Intrusion Detection System (IDS) is a computer system that analyzes user traffic and data on a network. IDS will provide a warning signal to network users that are attacked by intruders. However, IDS still needs to be developed due to the ever-evolving attack pattern. Feature Selection and Classification Network data are important components of IDS development to identify attack patterns based on network traffic data. To identify attack patterns, many researchers have proposed Feature Selection methods such as Chi-square, Gini Index, Information Gain, Relief, Gain Ratio, and Uncertainty. Researchers have also proposed Machine Learning Classification methods such as Random Forest, SVM, Naive Bayes, AdaBoost, and Neural Network. However, among the methods they propose, the Selection and Classification of Features method, the best, has not been studied. Therefore, we propose to conduct a comparative study of this method to find a better method of selection and classification of features. This study compares Feature Selection and Classification methods to identify those suitable for IDS by comparing Recall, Precision, F1, Accuracy, and Area Under Curve (AUC) for each method. The results showed that the Gain Ratio Feature Selection method was better than other Feature Selection methods. In addition, this study shows that the AdaBoost classification method is more accurate than other classification methods.
