Abstract

Cooperative Learning (CL) strategy can be the alternative way for leading the students to have the capacity in solving the problems in learning grammar. It is because CL gives the access for the students to have mutual or cooperative working within the groups or team works formed. The students’ mutual or cooperative working can be measured by peer assessments given. The study was aimed at revealing how the students in the groups or team works performed their contributions in solving the problems related to understanding grammar through cross-cultural translation. The study used a quantitative approach within a survey design. There were 50 participants in this study. The research instrument used a questionnaire containing about 16 closed questions distributed via Google form. The result showed that most of the students were initiated to have mutual and cooperative working by being consistent to contribute, feeling a complete sensitivity to others, encouraging others, and having high social attention and care in solving the problems on learning cross-cultural grammar translation. It is recommended that the teachers apply the CL strategy which also gives the access for the students to improve their learning motivations and self confidence through mutual and cooperative working done.

Abstract

This research aims to acknowledge the News Framing of political actors in online mass media in determining presidential candidates in 2024. A political actor is an individual who plays a role in networking and Communication actions, acting as individuals, groups, or organizations. The actions of actors Survey institutions and online mass media in the community model network of actors with a situational approach. The theory used is the theory of actor networks and qualitative descriptive research methods with a narrative approach to analyzing online mass media news framing. The study’s result shows an integrated black box between the theory of actor networks and the theory of communicative actions. The news framing indicates a distortion of survey agency actors through online mass communication networks due to the efforts of survey agency actors. Unreliable survey results deceive political party actors in the presidential nomination of the Republic of Indonesia in 2024 who cannot carry actors in political parties. Political Parties are distorted due to the lack of use of internal survey agencies of political parties and the role of Political Parties Actors, which is still minimal to socialize with constituents, as well as dependence on external survey agencies, which are profit organizations. Political Parties are incapable of producing leaders who are already institutionally managed. Further research recommendations on the role of Political Parties actors in managing quality Human Resources in collecting and preparing actors ready to become national leaders.

Abstract

The high number of cases and deaths due to COVID-19 has caused a number of countries, including Indonesia, to continue to struggle to stop its spread. In addition to carrying out health protocols, it is necessary to carry out vaccinations. The COVID-19 vaccine has proven to be quite safe and effective and shows high protection against infection, hospitalization and death from the virus. However, the efficacy or effectiveness against viral infections decreases after six months, so a booster vaccine is needed. Coverage of the third dose of the covid-19 vaccine in Indonesia is still low at 28.39%. Lampung Province is one of the provinces that has a low coverage of 26.96%. In addition, Lampung Province is a province with a high risk when viewed from the CFR COVID-19 figure of 5.59%. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of the third dose of COVID-19 vaccination in Lampung Province and identify the obstacles that occurred in its. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews and document review. The research results show the availability of policies that support implementation, there is a regional role in funding, a lack of human resources, infrastructure as well as tools and materials. There are obstacles to the process of implementing, recording and reporting and the low coverage of the third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The implementation of the third dose of Covid-19 vaccination in Lampung Province is still not optimal and there are still obstacles in its implementation that affect program coverage. Barriers that occur are internal (service provider) and external (service recipient) barriers.

When he asked permission from his mother to go abroad to seek knowledge. The theory used is Critical Discourse Analysis modeled on Teun A. Van Dijk which has 3 dimensions: Reading Analysis, Social Cognition, and Social Analysis. There are also procedures used which are qualitative research procedures, with a critical paradigm. The object of this research was reading the poem "Ibu". Research information was obtained from an Indonesian language textbook for class X according to the 2013 curriculum. The research results included 3 AWK measures according to the van Dijk model: Reading analysis which has 3 aspects in it. On the macro structure, the poem has the theme of mother's love and sacrifice for her child and the child who wants to serve her mother. Superstructure, arrangement of stanza by stanza that alternates. Micro structure, which has detailed elements, intention, lexicon, metaphor, sentence form, and pronouns. Social cognition which deals with the poet's individual condition overrides his judgment of a child who shows love and affection to his mother. Evaluate Zamawi Imron's position, as well as how to control the events around him. Lastly is Social Analysis, where the bond between child and mother, the child realizes how much he misses his mother, how much love and sacrifice his mother gave him and the will of the child who wants to share the best service for his mother.

Abstract

Rice (Latin: Oryza sativa) is one of the most important cultivated plants in civilization. This plant is the main commodity for almost all Indonesian people. Indonesia is in third place as the largest rice producing country in the world. However, based on data from the Statistics Indonesia, Indonesia will still import rice until 2022. The transfer of paddy fields is one of the reasons why Indonesia is still importing rice to this day. Many lands that used to be paddy fields have turned into airports, industrial land, housing, and so on. Rice production is one of the important topics to be discussed in order to develop rice production in areas that are still relatively low. The purpose of this research is to classify cities/regencies in Indonesia based on rice production data in 2021. In this study, three clustering methods were used, namely, Partitioning Around Medoid (PAM), Clustering Large Applications (CLARA) and Fuzzy C-Means (FCM). Then the three methods are compared based on their silhouette coefficient values. The best obtained method is FCM method with two clusters and a silhouette value of 0.828. Results clustering with the best method is used as a reference in making maps clustering. Areas that are still relatively low are expected to increase rice productivity.
