Abstract

Research on entrepreneurship education has grown across the globe but less focus is given to its influence on developing entrepreneurial intentions for industrialisation. Research focus focused on the influence of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intentions in general. The prime objective of this paper therefore is to essentially explore the influence of entrepreneurship education on developing entrepreneurial intentions for industrialisation. The study used mixed methodology. Majorly, four theories of entrepreneurship were used namely: Schumpeterian Entrepreneurship Theory, Ajzen’s Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB), Experiential learning theory, Capital Resources Theory and Social Cognitive Career Theory (SCCT). The findings indicate that entrepreneurship education is essential for building entrepreneurial intentions for industrialisation. Specifically, results indicate that entrepreneurship education influences graduates to start wanting to engage into entrepreneurial activities for industrialisation, start deciding to develop own innovations, determined to engage into entrepreneurial activities, start considering to engage into entrepreneurial activities, start hoping to engage into entrepreneurial activities and start to wish to engage into entrepreneurial activities. The paper also lucidly shows that entrepreneurial intentions influences graduates to Start their ventures, to develop innovations, to produce goods and services and to develop patents. In addition, the influence of entrepreneurship education on industrialisation is positively mediated by entrepreneurial intentions for industrialisation and moderated by institutional and government support factors. Hence, it is echoed that institutions of higher learning need to prepare students for industrialisation through entrepreneurship education. The government should support entrepreneurship education through government funding and further training. Institutions of higher learning should support entrepreneurship education through instilling entrepreneurship culture in students, providing financial support and entrepreneurship education modules which cultivates entrepreneurship in students. In conclusion, the importance of entrepreneurship education as a significant component for propelling entrepreneurial intention for industrialisation and industrialisation cannot be underestimated. It is thereby suggested that, higher institutions of learning should offer entrepreneurship education in order to develop entrepreneurial intentions for industrialisation and actual industrialisation of a country.

Abstract

The growing frustration among different disenchanted regions of Nigeria raises the question; if Nigeria’s current federal structure is delivering the full benefits of citizenship to every region? This study investigates the practicability of Nigeria’s federalism, taking stock of different challenges confronting the nation-state which are mainly economic and political. The study revealed that the current system of federalism fails to meet the standards of true federalism. This is based on the idea that the autonomy advocated for states and regions is not respected in law or practice. The study therefore recommends restructuring and autonomy, which are meant to give every state and region a sense of belonging, improve unity, create healthy competition and help citizens achieve their aspirations. This will safeguard against a heavy-handed and unfair central government, which will allow states to maintain a degree of autonomy and make decisions that they believe best serve local interests. The study concludes that Nigeria must focus on restructuring and autonomy to drive a decentralized governing structure, which creates balance, preserve the country's national unity and cohesion.

Abstract

: In developmental psychology theory, students are late adolescents who need to have problem-solving skills (Sahrah, 2019). Itis necessary to be trained in order to become a capable, creative and independent person in accordance with the goals of Indonesian national education. However, in the learning process in the studio class, the DKV study program which has the purpose of learning to hone students' thinking skills, often has difficulty solving a problem. A study that has been conducted previously that it is known that aspects of methods in solving problems are still confusing for students (Ulita &; Hananto, 2022). The research outlines that some students are still not fully aware of how to apply the method in designing. Therefore, this journal will describe the form of application of design thinking methods in a case study of designing an educational card game "Sobat Saleh" that can help student design learning that provides an overview of the process of solving problems into a design idea. Starting from data collection, analytical techniques and thinking processes as well as the form of application of the design thinking design method. Thus, it can be observed more deeply the patterns carried out in efforts to apply the design thinking method so as to help students more easily have the ability to solve problems with the method. The ability of critical thinking and creative things in solving problems can support the design logic that is needed by a designer when doing a design.

Abstract

Through its impact on a variety of societal factors, such as personal psychological health (PH), community involvement, political debate, and social connection, social media significantly shapes national well-being. Evaluating social media's influence on molding national well-being is essential for resolving its impacts and optimizing its advantages, despite the fact that it may have both good and bad consequences. This research investigates the relationship between adolescents’ psychological health (PH) and social media utilization. The information was collected over the course of several years as part of a research project known as "The Korean Youth Panel Survey (KYPS)." It is anticipated that hierarchical linear models (HL) will be used to investigate the psychological effects of using the Internet. The analysis demonstrates that social media usage on the internet has a negative correlation with students' mentalwell-being as indicated by self-expressed psychological health issues and thoughts of suicide (TOS) while retaining steady “a variety of time-lagged control factors at the individual (student) and contextual (school) levels." Since much prior research on the benefits and drawbacks of using digital social media relies on cross-sectional information, causal inference is not possible. This study provides more convincing proof of the direction of causality by employing longitudinal information.

A structured questionnaire titled ‘Teacher Commitment Questionnaire’ with 15 items developed by Allen (1997) which was constructed on a 4-point Likert scale was employed as an instrument for data collection. Data analysis was made through descriptive statistics using mean and standard deviation. The paper portrayed that, teachers’ commitment towards teaching profession among public secondary schools of Zamfara State was on moderate extent with reference to its average mean value of (M=2.62, SD=1.61).
